The giant monster's ergence from the depths was accompanied by a series of unsettling grunts and tremors that reverberated across the battlefield. Its grayish skin stretched over its colossal fra and seed to cling to the bones beneath. Chained and restrained, the creature's movents were limited, emphasizing its struggle against the unseen forces that held it captive.
Its limbs, unnaturally skinny, quivered with each attempt at movent, while the heavy chains clanked ominously with each futile effort to break free. The creature's towering presence, standing at least one hundred ters tall, cast a shadow over the battlefield, creating an atmosphere of dread and impending danger.
The blue bull-like head atop the creature's body added an eerie touch; its features contorted in apparent suffering. The grunts of pain intensified, echoing through the area and enhancing the ominous aura that surrounded this formidable adversary. Rain and Elisabetha now faced not only the lords but also this colossal entity, adding another layer of complexity to their already dire situation.
"It looks like a summoned monster from a ga I saw before…" Rain said.
The lords were forced to sacrifice themselves to bring that thing to the zone so Rain could assu that it would have the strength of at least of all the lords that died combined. Co to think of it. Rain couldn't discard the idea that the monster would show up when many of the lords were killed… Rain could see the bodies of around 150 of them there, after all.
When the whole creature left the ground, Rain was able to see that aside from a skinny torso, chained-up arms on its back, and a bull-like head, and the beast also had the body of a giant spider… it was quite the weird combination… Rain could only see that as a monstrous experint that went wrong sowhere.
When the creature looked at Rain, a beam of light imdiately flew and hit him… it was instantaneous. He didn't have the chance to dodge. The impact didn't cause much damage, but the explosion of the energy against his enhanced domain pushed him backward a couple of ters… at the sa ti, Rain felt his health falling by five thousand points…
"I didn't feel the pain… a true damage attack?" Rain thought.
Recently, Rain had obtained so skills that did the sa thing, but on a much smaller scale… a single attack that could cause that much damage without pain should be at an insanely high level…
The monster fired a bunch more of light beams at Rain through its eyes, but he was able to react to them based on his instincts. Not all of them, though. Rain suddenly started to feel so pain in the place he had been hit… so it seed that those attacks had a delayed effect, and when the damage began to pile up…
"This is bad," Rain thought and then used Full Heal.
Rain decreased the boundaries of his domain until he, the lightning magic, and the corrupt energy beca one. At that point in ti, he essentially had beco a shadow… not a single part of his body could be seen… when the monster resud its attacks, Rain sidestepped the projectiles and avoided them completely.
When he got confident in his speed, which almost approached half of the speed of light, Rain decided to move past the beast. It was unlikely that a monster of that size could move as fast as him. Still, when he tried that… Rain's path was suddenly stopped by a wall of light…
The ground surrounding the colossal entity's wall began to sizzle and burn as the intense concentration of energy emitted by the wall of light created a scorching effect on the terrain. The soil, once stable, now lted under the influence of the radiant power, turning into molten streams that glowed with an otherworldly luminosity.
The air glowed with the heat, creating a hazy distortion in the imdiate vicinity.
The unexpected display of power from the colossal entity, wielding not only imnse size but also the ability to manipulate light magic, left Rain montarily taken aback. It was a peculiar combination of attributes for a creature of its stature, and the consequences of its magical prowess were evident in the transformation of the battleground into a searing landscape.
"Firing can be avoided, but it seems that it can use other types of spells that will be hard to dodge… ugh," Rain thought and then grunted in pain.
The power of wrath, the concentration of corrupt energy and the lightning magic were starting to affect Rain's body. He could tell that he was being damaged with every passing mont by his own combination of techniques… Still, he didn't have any other choice.
"I don't have ti for this," Rain thought when he realized that one of his doppelgangers had been defeated.
It was only a matter of ti before his friends were to be completely surrounded… so Rain had to accept the risks. Fortunately, the giant monster was also a golden chance for him.
Rain flew once again like a dark lightning bolt toward the enemy, and the creature summoned several light walls to block his path. Without hesitation, Rain punched them all… usually, that wasn't supposed to be possible to break light, but his fists concentrated with corrupt energy destroyed the spells.
A weird sound echoed in the area when the walls of light were destroyed. It seed like the distorting scream of an unknown thing. At the sa ti, Rain didn't have ti to worry about that as he felt his fists being destroyed with each hit… when he was about to reach the monster… the creature suddenly opened its mouth and bombarded him with a light cannon fired from its mouth…
The attack engulfed Rain, and while he tried to resist it… he was still being pushed away until he hit the ground. When the attack ended, he found himself on the ground… with his body almost completely burned…
