Each shattered piece of the doppelganger glimred with a faint, icy glow before dissipating entirely. The once-nacing foes now lay defeated, reduced to frozen fragnts that adorned the ground like a peculiar mosaic.
Rain's mastery over his enhanced ice magic proved to be a formidable force against the relentless assault of the doppelgangers, turning the tables and restoring a sense of control to the chaotic battlefield.
So monsters escaped his attacks, but soon, they were smashed from behind by mana hamrs that the others fired. Sealyn wasn't attacking since she wanted to react fast enough to defend them if the necessity arose.
It didn't take long for the first group of enemies to be completely decimated… they charged recklessly toward Rain only since they wanted his skills, but they weren't strong enough to reach him… which raised more concerns than it actually helped.
"They aren't coming anymore…' Sealyn said after she approached. "What should we do?"
"Until we find so real hardships on their leader, we should keep moving," Rain declared.
The group had the chance to beco a bit stronger, so that was fine. Sealyn knew that the chances of them suffering a loss before suffering any damage were low at all. They were a group tough to crack.
With that in mind, everyone began to move while following Rain and Sealyn. Rain considered the possibility of conducting experints with the power of Envy. His analytical mind urged him to delve into the details of the enemies' strengths and potential weaknesses, seeking a deeper understanding of how the sin influenced their abilities.
Rain considered various scenarios, envisioning controlled experints to test the limits of the doppelgangers' power and discern the extent of their enhancents. If the others learn it as well and keep using it, they might end up wishing for each other's powers or techniques,' Rain thought.
"You sure worry a lot about hypothetical scenarios," Elisabetha said.
"Preparation is the key to success," Rain said. "Hey, if you wanna win, you've gotta play it smart. Nothing is left to chance. The wise will take it all. You can call an overly cautious brawler. Well, it worked for until now, and because of it, it will work at the end of this zone as well."

When the group was about to reach another part of the dark forest, the trees and shadows began to move once more, and soon they mixed with each other. Bigger slis began to fuse with each other, and soon, they trembled violently, but despite that, only ten or so of them appeared in front of the group, and each one of them looked like a mirror of them.
"This asshole wants to split us," Rain said as he watched the doppelgangers moving around and encircling them.
"Shall we attack them all at once?" Sealyn asked.
"" No… look," Ran said.
The doppelgangers' forms rippled with an eerie transformation as their auras underwent a shift. Slowly, their presence seed to draw the air toward their bodies, creating an almost imperceptible vacuum around them. The visual effect mirrored the distinctive characteristics of the Gluttonous Aura, an ability of the insectoid swarms and the insect queen.
Observing this alteration in the doppelgangers' auras, Rain's mind quickly deduced the implications. It appeared that the sinister entities had successfully copied the skills of the insectoid swarms, granting them the power to absorb surrounding energy and spells as well.
This newfound ability posed a significant threat, especially against long-ranged attacks, as the doppelgangers could absorb a substantial portion of the power directed at them.
"This is a good chance for all of us," Sealyn said. "Fight yourselves and learn what you are lacking."
Rain looked at Sealyn, but she just shrugged. Playing on the enemy's hands now seed like the most stupid thing that they could do, but she seed weirdly confident. Now that Rain thought about it, even if the enemies could copy them, could they copy their relics as well? They had weapons similar made of shadows, but…
"Summon shields and spears made of mana and enhance them with the power of wrath," Sealyn said. "If you lose, you all are gone to endure hell after the battle."
If they lose, that might be good since, in the worst-case scenario, they will die. Nevertheless, after that point in ti, they didn't have any doubts about Sealyn's leadership, so they quickly followed their orders, and they moved to face their copycats.
"You should go too, Dad," Sealyn said. "This is a golden chance for all of us."

Rain took a mont to consider the unconventional strategy suggested by Sealyn. Despite the potential risks involved, he chose to trust his daughter's judgnt.
