The brain and spinal cord make up the central nervous system. The brain is responsible for processing information and generating responses. Within the brain, different regions are dedicated to specific functions, such as motor control, sensory processing, and cognitive functions.

Such functions probably would work differently from beings of different places, but the demon king still could control them equally.

Regardless, the base of the demon king was a labyrinth that had so uses, but the concentration of bacteria there was too high for them to actually use it, so they soon returned to the previous one. Before long, Jori's group arrived, and then they joined them and heard the news.

"So, the number of enemies is decreasing, but we still have a long way to go," Jori said. "We can produce our water, but our food is scarce, if we can call it food."

"We didn't expect ti dilation… how could we?" Rain asked. "In any case, the first three people that are supposed to co will arrive in three weeks for us. We will have to endure it until then. While we have so grains here, the entire surface is too harsh to grow anything, even though I know a bit of the technique that Esralda and the others developed in the last one hundred years."

So far, the enemies have shown their own thods of producing things that they need. Organic matter isn't sothing to produce, and the demons and the robots had so of that, but they probably used so shady thod that Rain and the others would be too hesitant to use.

"How are things with the newcor, Dad?" Sealyn asked after the group rested for a short while.

"He is as stubborn as the others, but I should find out so thods to break them eventually, I am working on so ideas already," Rain said while grinning.

"Keep this side of yours hidden and try to relax a bit as well. Otherwise, you will break first," Sealyn said. "Regardless, Grandpa isn't acting like before, but we need to make our next moves soon."

Until now, the other lords had maintained a surprising level of calm amidst the chaos. Rain found himself pondering the reasons behind their apparent hesitation. As he considered the situation, he realized that a large-scale war with nurous participants often faced challenges that could prevent a clear winner from erging.

In a prolonged conflict involving many factions, the depletion of essential resources beca a critical factor. The continuous consumption of manpower, materials, and magical energy led to diminishing returns for all parties. This could result in a stalemate where no side had the strength to push the conflict to a decisive conclusion.

The complexity of managing multiple fronts and alliances often led to strategic dilemmas. Demons and other entities involved in the war might find themselves entangled in conflicting interests, making it difficult to pursue a unified goal. This confusion could contribute to a lack of coordinated efforts and prevent any single faction from achieving a clear victory.

The prison often harbored unknown threats that could erge unexpectedly. Powerful entities or ancient forces, indifferent to the ongoing conflict, might choose opportune monts to intervene. Such unforeseen interventions could alter the course of the war or force the warring factions to reconsider their priorities.

The group didn't have many places to go, so pretty much all the ti, things like their next steps would beco the main topic of their conversations. Things were different when they were on Earth and when they were crossing the cosmos… they were surrounded by enemies, and they had to keep moving since they didn't want to be surrounded by them.

They had to defeat all of them before they could try to form a coalition to smash them. It was the only way to be sure.

In that zone, they couldn't use anything aside from brute force to survive and earn their place there and eventually reach the next zone and escape the prison. Still, Rain was pretty sure that was the last zone.

"Between the targets that we can choose are the lord of the zombies, sli doppelganger, orcs general, death knights, and Insectoid queen," Rain said. "I don't like to rush things either, but this is probably our best ti to keep pushing forward… the enemies might be watching us, and it is hard to imagine that they will co up with alliances fast enough. In a sense, chaos is in our favor."

"What are orcs?" Sealyn asked.

Arel took a mont to teach the group about the nature of the orcs in that particular zone. Unlike many creatures that turned into monsters due to corrupt energy or similar influences, the orcs were a distinct race of humanoid beings. This revelation surprised the group, as it was unusual to find fully living humanoid species in that hostile environnt.

However, what intrigued them even more was the peculiar thod of orc reproduction. Arel explained that, at a certain point in their life cycle, orcs would shed a part of their bodies in the form of a atball. This seemingly bizarre process eventually led to the growth of a new orc.

The group exchanged puzzled glances at the uniqueness of orc reproduction, adding another layer of complexity to the already diverse inhabitants of the zone.

"Eww, gross," Rain said. "They look like slis, but since they are made of flesh and bones, this is much worse."

"I was more interested in how they fight instead of things like that. Now I don't think that I will be able to sleep at night," Sealyn said.

"In the past, they started many conflicts, but it was hard to say if they won any," Arel said. "They use everything that they can as weapons, and they are pretty resilient too, but they are dumb to boot. They fall for traps easily, and they don't know the aning of the words pacing themselves. They are only alive until now because they reproduce fast."
