"Relax, farming that guy will be easy for ," Rain said. "Until the others will obtain the power to do the sa, I will have all this ti to do that alone."
Rain wanted to test the limits of the levels of the skills in that system, but since he was obsessed with efficiency and confird that creating copies of the sa weapon himself was fifty percent more expensive, he resud his task of collecting more different weapons from the next day onward.
Whenever he showed up inside the castle, the king would use all the tricks possible to defeat him. He made his monsters even bigger and granted them more shadow to make them tougher. Still, Rain leveled up the Fire Blade for that reason… when he used the spell on Elisabetha, the ominous sword would decrease the shadows with every single strike.
Usually, it doesn't take more than two strikes to kill each of the summoned creatures.
In the next battles against the king in the shadows, Rain employed an approach that featured minor variations from their initial encounters. Rather than relying solely on direct physical attacks or the power of sound magic to wear down the opponent, Rain incorporated the use of his domain into his tactics.
One of Rain's strategies involved utilizing the water mirror technique within his domain. By lding the unique properties of his domain with the reflective nature of the water mirror, Rain was able to disappear from sight, becoming virtually undetectable to his foe. This allowed him to maneuver stealthily and catch the king off guard, setting the stage for many surprise assaults.
Rain also harnessed the power of the fire blade with the ominous sword. With his ability to vanish and reappear at will within the domain, Rain could launch sudden and devastating attacks with the ominous sword, catching the king off balance and capitalizing on the elent of surprise.
What made Rain's approach particularly effective was the king in the shadows' lack of understanding or experience in dealing with a domain. Rain's mastery of this esoteric aspect of combat provided him with a significant advantage, allowing him to dictate the terms of engagent and exploit the king's vulnerabilities.
"Still… if he understands how a domain works, he will be able to recover his power before he was put here," Rain thought. "I can't relax just because I won against him a few tis… Regardless, any progress so far? I already have half of the weapons from this zone."
"Nothing yet. Perhaps you will have to make copies of the ones that you don't have from the previous zones," Sakaki replied.
Rain massaged his eyebrows… he sohow doubted that such a thing actually would change anything. The enemies were that far ahead of them… in any case, to make sure that he would have the upper hand against the enemy a bit more. Rain broke the level cap of the diligence path and also completed its skills. Thanks to the help of the relics, now Rain could do so crazy things…

"Even though it was supposed to be sothing on the level of the sins path, the bonuses are smaller… the good side is that they don't have any bad counter effects," Rain thought.
"You should complete the patience and humility path, then proceed to the others," Sakaki said. "Even if you can't use them, others would be able to do so as well. That also would benefit you in the short and long term."
"... I am aware of it, but I am only a single person," Rain said. "Since my return, I don't know the aning of the expression taking my ti."
"Perhaps we should create the ninja path next ti, and the first skill will be the shadow clone technique," Sakaki said.
"Yes, if you are going to sell it, shut up and take my money," Rain said.
After one week, Rain obtained all the weapons that he could buy in that zone. Then he started to copy the ones from the others… at that point in ti, he was losing track of all those skills, and the status screen was becoming too big… on the other hand, the fights against the king in the shadows were becoming easier… Rain's growth was pretty impressive.
It was basically reasonable the fact that he couldn't level up there.
Things at the headquarters were going well as well… every day, at least fifty more people would join them. Soon, Rain would go with the others to challenge the king in the shadows, and then eventually, they would lead their own groups to farm that moron and his apparent infinite points.
Still, things were getting dark because one month had passed since they ca to the prison, and they didn't find any traces of Esralda and her family. At that point in ti, most people already assud that they had died, even if they didn't say that out loud.
"What do you think about that, Rain?" Jori asked after they sparred with so of the mbers of their group, upon noticing that no one asked about them anymore.
"I have so hypothesis, but they will only bring more problems than solve… it is better not to say them out loud."
