"Pretty sneaky for a king…" Rain thought.

"You need more information about him. It feels like he only steals the weapons after winning, but if he is much stronger, he could have stolen all of them," Elisabetha said.

"... I am more worried as to why he keeps stealing weapons… at so point, he would have more than one of the sa type," Rain said while he was plying a ga of jenga in one of the stands against the owner.

Rain was pretty good at that kind of ga, much to his surprise, so he didn't lose even once. Thanks to that, he could wonder about that and about why Elisabetha only talks when no one is around. Was she that socially awkward?

Regardless, there was a possibility that two weapons of the sa type could increase the max level of skills from ten to twenty, but he couldn't confirm that… Orzlan never ntioned it either… maybe there were so conditions for that.

"The king must be soone that is close or at least knows a fair bit about this place and those who command it," Rain thought. "Perhaps we can capture them and force them to give us all the answers."

Rain wondered if that was possible… in that zone, the enemy went as far as almost killing everyone and then healing them soon afterward before sending them to outside… so perhaps Rain couldn't kill or seal them in a sphere of blood like he did with Iori.

"Jenga takes too long; don't use this ga to gain points faster," Rain wrote down when the ten matches in that stand ended. "What next?"

So far, Rain enjoyed darts the better. Excluding the ti they had talked with the chaleon guy, the ten matches didn't last even five minutes. When the day ended, Rain had sohow enough to buy the first weapon on the board… but he wondered if he should spend that now…

"The matches in the castle could be one-on-one or in group, but in the team battle, we will face more enemies at the sa ti," Terra said when they reunited. "The maximum is ten participants, but that makes things pretty chaotic since the enemies are pretty strong, even excluding the king."

"I learned that you can buy the sa weapon more than once, only after you buy all of forty weapons," Seara said.

"Hmm… I guess it is possible, and there is so benefit of getting more weapons, but it will take one hell of a long ti to pull that off," Rain said. "We will have to check things with the others."

As Rain and his companions looked for ways to acquire duplicate copies of their weapons, they experinted with various approaches. Attempting to borrow the weapons proved futile, as the magical system governing the prizes seed to resist such temporary transactions. It appeared that the process required a more permanent transfer.

The thought of outright stealing crossed their minds, but the potential consequences stopped them. Engaging in theft could jeopardize their standing among the group, and the repercussions could be severe. Moreover, they suspected that rely feigning theft might not trigger the necessary conditions for the weapons to duplicate.

After much thinking, the group decided to exercise patience and observe. Opting to purchase the weapons seed the safest course of action. However, their hopes of acquiring duplicates were dashed when the weapons they bought turned out to be entirely different from the ones they already possessed.

"It makes sense… different zones would grant us different weapons, more powerful ones, of course," Sakaki explained. "Regardless, you should gather more weapons; that will help with my research. When you guys co up with an action plan, you can gather the remaining points fast enough."

Sakaki had a point… Rain was pretty much the king of grinding when it ca to the gas in the town, so he decided to buy his first weapon…

"The variety is amazing, if anything…" Rain thought. "A shield isn't much of a weapon, but if it will make tougher, I guess I will choose it."

All of the items were of the sa value, so in theory, they were all pretty much on the sa level. Instead of wasting any more ti, Rain chose the shield. The Aegis Shield was a formidable piece of defensive equipnt, both imposing and intricate in its design. Crafted from a blend of enchanted blue tals, the shield boasted a large, round shape with a slightly convex surface.

Its core material gives off a faint.

Emblazoned upon the front surface of the Aegis Shield is an intricate, radiant emblem depicting a stylized protective barrier. Radiant lines emanate from the central emblem, forming an elegant pattern that further enhances the shield's mystical aura.

(You can now use the technique Shield Charge!)

(Your class is determined by your skills and their levels. Thanks to your current set of skills and their levels, you have beco a Wardenforge! You will gain four points in intelligence, five in strength, three in dexterity, and one in vitality when leveling up!)

"A pretty basic skill… perhaps I was expecting a lot from a shield technique…" Rain furrowed his eyebrows.

Although he said that, Rain increased his health by six hundred points thanks to just that shield… that was pretty impressive. Given enough ti, and people played those gas for a while, they could obtain all sorts of weapons and grow quite strong… in a single year, perhaps they could rival the strength that Rain obtained after training for fifteen years…

"The question is… how do the people here benefit from that?" Rain wondered.

It didn't matter how much Rain thought about that… nothing ca to mind. They needed more information before they could assu anything… it was the only option.
