Rain realized that sothing big had happened when he noticed that the wind and the dust began to weaken in the area that he was in. It looked like Seadrei was using his powers well… Rain couldn't check the area with magic because he was sending his Sakaki use. That being said, that had its rits as well.

You learned a new skill.

Level 45: Electrogenesis - Achieve mastery over electrogenesis, empowering your lightning spells to have a chance to chain between multiple targets and increasing their effectiveness. The chance increases at higher levels.

"It would be useful if I could do the sa thing with the other relics, but they don't have the sa skills as you," Rain said.

"You can find them," Sakaki said. "You can use Nigel to increase the size of the ocean of the vessel. You can use Larisa to increase the land over ti as well. Maxi can control the light of the vessel eventually… I guess only Elisabetha and Vanessa can't do anything similar since their abilities aren't elental. Regardless, I am busy here, so don't bother."

"Yes, boss, do you want so coffee?" Rain asked.

"Yes, please," Sakaki said.

"Go plant so then," Rain said.

While Rain focused on that task, the trashing of the beasts kept going for quite a while. He wondered how co the monsters didn't try everything in their power to escape and look for their ally… they would have better chances of fighting back with four of them. It seed that the monster was thinking along those lines too since it began to tremble even more than before.

The good thing was the fact that the javelin was shocking the brain of the monster more than any other part of its body.

"I guess I will focus on this branch of path for a while," Rain thought.

"Yes! You should! First and foremost, consider the sheer power and speed of lightning. It's a force of nature, unparalleled in its swiftness and ability to strike with precision. Imagine wielding that power at your fingertips. Your enemies won't know what hit them, literally!" Sakaki said, and Rain could imagine him grinning.

"Moreover, have you seen the sheer coolness factor? Picture this: you, standing amidst the storm, bolts of lightning crackling around you, asserting your dominance over the elents. It's not just magic; it's a spectacle, a show that commands respect. And let's not forget the educational benefits. It's a journey of constant improvent, a path that leads to unparalleled mastery. Embrace the lightning.

Make it your signature, and watch as the world bows to the majesty of your electrifying magic. The storm is yours to command, and the possibilities are as boundless as the sky itself."

"Focus on your job," Rain said. "You are as annoying as a guy in a sales pitch…"

Rain wanted to receive news from the battlefield instead of listening to that kind of rambling… fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, he only heard so news after half an hour. Esralda confird to him that they had subjugated the three giant centipedes."

"Oh, that is good… any losses?" Rain asked.

"Yes, we lost five warriors… none of your acquaintances were among them, though," Esralda said. "They were all humans."

Rain was happy about that… it was a victory of massive scales to win against those beasts while suffering only five losses. At that point in ti, Rain thought that he had accepted all the problems that war brings… but the thoughts in his head confird that it wasn't the case.

"Well, it could have been worse…" Rain thought.

"Well, it is getting worse," Sakaki said.

Rain finally woke up from his deep thinking and soon saw sothing happening to the captured monster.

The captured giant centipede convulsed violently, its entire monstrous form trembling as if seized by an overwhelming force. The ground beneath it shook, sending shockwaves through the surrounding area. The tremors intensified, causing the ice that encased the creature to crack and shatter into countless fragnts.

All the while, an eerie glow emanated from within the beast's body. The energy pulsated with an ominous power, casting an otherworldly light that danced across the icy remnants. Rain's eyes widened as he recognized the signs. The monster, sensing the demise of its companions, had triggered a self-destruct chanism.

The pulsating energy within the giant centipede reached its peak, the glow becoming blindingly bright. The air itself seed to tremble with the impending explosion. Rain swiftly activated his domain around himself, preparing for the shockwave that would follow.

The monster's body began to rupture from the inside, and a series of explosive bursts echoed through the air. The ice that had once encased the creature was now propelled outward in shards, propelled by the force of the detonation. The shockwave hit Rain's protective barrier, causing it to ripple with strain.

As the icy shrapnel scattered in all directions, the force of the explosion sent a wave of fla winds across the sandy landscape, burning everything in its path. The entire area trembled, and the sand was sent flying in all directions violently…

Once the explosive fury subsided, Rain cautiously lowered his protective barrier and surveyed the aftermath. The once-captured giant centipede was now completely gone… all of its body had turned into nothing… on the spot it once had been, one could see a massive crater of unknown dinsions.

"Rain! What happened!" Esralda asked. "We can see that the storm is dissipating, and a massive hole in the planet is where the monster had been before."

"The monster decided to abandon this cruel planet in a huge flash," Rain said. "Once it sensed the deaths of his friends. We didn't imagine that this would happen, huh? I guess we ssed up big ti… now the enemies know where we are… We can't stay here forever."
