The group, flying from south to north over Japan, encountered a puzzling lack of any significant findings for several hours. No traces of mana or remnants of the past presented themselves, leaving Rain with a growing sense of suspicion.

As they crossed the landscape, the absence of any signals from the relics or indications of their objectives cast doubt on whether they were indeed in the right location.

Rain couldn't shake the feeling that sothing was amiss. The absence of any magical residue or signs of the relics being created in Japan contradicted the information they had gathered so far. It prompted him to question whether the group had accurately identified the intended destination.

The journey had taken them through walls of earth, remnants of fortifications, and artificial mountains concealing the remains of the past. Yet, the expected clues remained elusive. Rain couldn't help but wonder if there was a possibility that they had missed sothing crucial or if the relics' mories were leading them astray.

The uncertainty weighed heavily on his mind as they continued their search over the expansive landscape.

"I guess I will have to use all my mana to look for other underground places…" Rain thought.

"You won't have to…" Maxi said. "I rember now… we lived hidden in the extre north of the country. It was a small island, the dragons overlooked us because it was small and because we were able to deploy magic to hide it from their sight as well."

"I guess those dragons couldn't use Dragon Eyes yet…" Rain said and then began to fly north.

Rain began to fly toward the extre north and eventually, he found an island that looked almost untouched by ti… there were no signs of destruction, so Rain could imagine that the place only appeared when all the mana and nutrients in the world were taken by the enemies, but by that ti, the dragons were no longer around.

Upon landing on the island, the group was t with a surprising sight—trees that stood tall, adorned with leaves. It was an uncommon spectacle in the underworld, where most of the landscape was desolate and devoid of living vegetation. The unexpected presence of flourishing trees intrigued and surprised the group, offering a montary respite from the otherwise grim surroundings.

However, their amazent quickly turned to astonishnt when, upon closer inspection, the trees disintegrated into dust as soon as they were touched. The once vibrant leaves crumbled, and the illusion of life was shattered, leaving the group looking at Rain with apologetic expressions.

Rain, however, rely shrugged in response, understanding the peculiar nature of the underworld and the transient mirage of life that these trees presented.

"They were dead all along, but the passage of ti didn't let them decompose as they were supposed to… or maybe it was thanks to the barrier employed by those here," Rain said. "Anyway, there is no facility clear on sight, so it is underground again."

Rain used his earth magic to find anything underground… much to his surprise, he didn't find anything… at least not at an ordinary level of depth. Rain felt like he should try harder, and then he eventually found sothing, a massive facility that extended even to the depths of where the ocean once was.

There was no entrance though, even despite the fact that it was five hundred ters below ground level.

"I guess they could use so advanced magic back then…" Rain thought. "I can't sense any entrance, so how we can enter there?"

"You can't unless the person inside lets you," Maxi said. "That facility is like a materialized domain. Only your spirit can enter that place without permission. It goes without saying, but you won't be able to do anything in such a domain."

A physical domain… not even Rain could create sothing like that yet, but soone fifty thousand years ago was able to create that? Moreover, the domain was still active because soone was still there. It was probably the sixth relic…

"I found sothing, but it might be dangerous for all of us to head there…" Rain said. "The place has no entrances and it is like my domain. The creator of the domain is the only one who can do anything there."

"Well, that seems like a problem…" Regis said. "This also sounds like an excuse for you to get another relic."

Rain sighed as Regis pointed out the potential opportunity for Rain to acquire another relic. While there was so truth to it, Rain couldn't help but feel the weight of the situation. At this point, he had proven himself to be a valuable ally, and it was apparent that he wasn't an adversary to the group.

However, it was also true that his strength had not reached the sa level as so of the others, and acquiring another relic would undoubtedly accelerate his growth.

The relics had the potential to enhance Rain's abilities at an astonishing rate, making him a formidable force. The decision to enter the domain-like facility and potentially acquire the sixth relic was not a simple one. It involved careful consideration of the balance of power within the group and the potential consequences of such a significant power boost.

As Rain thought over the situation, he couldn't escape the feeling that the path ahead was fraught with both opportunity and risk. The relics held imnse power, and with each one added to his arsenal, Rain's capabilities would soar. However, the implications of such rapid empowernt raised questions about the nature of his role within the group and the dynamics that would unfold as a result.

"I guess Sealyn and Esralda can't vouch for since they are a family and a friend of many years…" Rain thought. "In this situation, there isn't much that I can do."

"He has a point, it would be better if we either went as a group or one at a ti to see who deserves the relic," Esralda said.
