Su Yu had already taken the profession of the Ti chanic to the final step, just one bit away from successfully completing the profession and mastering the Power of Ti.

Yet he hadn’t anticipated that there would be one final calamity awaiting him.

"... I should have thought of it earlier."

Su Yu shook his head in his heart.

From the beginning, Su Yu intended to pioneer the Ti chanic profession because he was concerned about backlash from Subspace.

Extracting energy from Subspace always faced terrible backlash.

Would mastering the Power of Ti also have its anomalies? How strong would the backlash be?

So Su Yu planned to use machines to replace human effort, creating a ti machine to bear the backlash.

But now, Su Yu found that he couldn’t avoid it at all, and he himself had to endure this backlash.

Perhaps after Su Yu successfully completed the profession, the machine could substitute him in enduring it.

But to succeed in the profession, he first needed to withstand a backlash using his own body.

This beca a chicken-or-egg problem, with no way around it.

Now that Su Yu had lost the future, it was as if he were dead—a dead man!

The question now was, how to co back to life?

"Ah, the Power of Ti is indeed difficult to grasp... Luckily, I have ti to slowly find a way."

Su Yu thought to himself, without getting overly flustered.

Su Yu’s consciousness was like a "snake" twenty years long, coiled on the tiline.

Ti seed to have lost its aning for him.

He could endlessly repeat the cycle on this twenty-year-long tiline segnt, providing him with endless ti to think.

Sufficient for him to co up with a solution.

"Perhaps my ti isn’t really endless..."

Su Yu pondered for a while, then suddenly sensed sothing in his heart, identifying the [Now], and moved forward by one second.

Su Yu had a vague understanding.

He was within history, theoretically already beyond ti.

But ti did not change with his will and continued to move forward.

The mark of ti moving forward was that the [Now] was still developing.

But Su Yu’s ti had ceased to move forward, eternally halted at the mont after the experint where his body disappeared.

Therefore, the temporal node of [Now] was moving further away from Su Yu.

This distance was not spatial but temporal.

"This being the case, in a year or ten years... when I am too far from the [Now], is it possible I will no longer be able to maintain consciousness, and truly die then?"

Su Yu speculated in his heart.

His current state was neither dead nor alive, living in history, as if the real ti had lost its aning for him, equating to immortality.

But immortality isn’t that simple, even in this highly restricted alternative form.

If Su Yu’s guess was correct, then as the [Now] continuously moved forward and the distance grew, he would gradually lose power.

Ultimately dying completely, becoming a phantom in history.

Fortunately, the [Now] had only moved forward a few minutes; Su Yu still had plenty of ti to think of a solution.

"What should I do?"

Su Yu pondered deeply.

He quickly had a train of thought.

Su Yu existed in the [Past], and the ti machines he had previously built all traveled to the past, never once going to the [Future].

Now that the [Past] had been almost fully researched, the [Now] had disappeared.

To break through, it seed only possible to start from the [Future].

"Thus, I must continue experinting, creating a ti machine, to travel from the [Past] to the [Future]."

Su Yu had co up with a solution.

He needed to conduct a new ti machine experint in history again.

This ti, however, it wasn’t to travel back to the past but forward into the future!

Having thought of a specific solution, Su Yu felt much calr.

He suddenly had another idea: "First travel back to the past, then travel from the past to the future... Could this be the complete Ti chanic ritual?"

"It’s very likely!"

Su Yu thought that his ritual might never have been entirely complete, returning to the future might be the crucial final step.

The Ti chanic was a profession Su Yu created himself, and the ritual was also his own design, so he couldn’t be certain if there were any flaws.

Now it seed, this ritual indeed had flaws.

Earlier he thought he had completed the ritual, but he had been happy too soon.

Only by completing an experint in returning to the future can it be considered successful!

Thinking this, Su Yu felt more at peace.

Since it was a destined difficulty to encounter, there was no need to overthink it—just strive to overco it.

Mastering the Power of Ti wouldn’t be so simple; having such difficulties was normal.

If it were too easy to succeed, Su Yu would instead be suspicious if there was sothing wrong.

And so, the historical Su Yu began his research.

Traveling from the [Now] to the [Past] took Su Yu a full twenty years to succeed.

Now wanting to travel from the [Past] to the [Future], naturally, was not a simple task.

Even though there was prior experience, it wasn’t sothing that could be easily applied.

The difficulty lay in the fact that the future wasn’t determined!

Su Yu had previously traveled back to the [Past], knowing the energy activities of the past planets, allowing him to specifically create Energy Towers to resonate with the energy fluctuations of the planetary ti nodes in the past.

But regarding the future, Su Yu had no idea how the planetary energy would behave.

Although he could foresee the future through being Quantumized, he could only see a tiny bit.

And it wasn’t far, only a fraction of a millisecond into the future.

This amount of ti was too short to et his requirents.
