Chapter 1: SSS Rank Class - Omni chanic
[Welco to the Infinite Ga.]
[Here, all of you are Survivors. In this world overflowing with blood and despair, your room is the only place where you can take refuge.]
[Take note, protect your room carefully, especially the main door. Do not let it be destroyed, otherwise what awaits you will be terror and death.]
[Below are the three rules of this ga.]
[1. Before the room door is breached, your room will not be destroyed.]
[2. The Owner of the room possesses absolute control over it. Tenants cannot attack the Owner.]
[3. All other structures such as walls, windows, and the entire building will exist permanently and cannot be destroyed.]
[Good luck to you all.]
"What the hell is this?" The young man rubbed his eyes, then once more stared at the information panel floating before him like sothing out of a science-fiction movie, his face filled with disbelief.
His na was Rover, male, 28 years old.
Rover was an employee of a company not far from here. Because this apartnt building was close to his workplace, convenient, and the rent was reasonable, he had decided to live here.
Of course, it wasn’t just him. Many others had rented rooms here as well, and quite a few were even his coworkers.
At this mont, his room imdiately changed.
From a one-bedroom apartnt with a bathroom and a living room of more than fifty square ters, it began shrinking, turning into a room barely twenty square ters in size.
Everything inside vanished. Whether furniture or household items, everything disappeared. Even the bedroom was gone, leaving behind only a single bed placed in the center of the living room.
Everything vanished without leaving even a speck of dust, as if this room had never contained anything besides that bed, a blanket, a pillow, and an old worn-out mattress.
At the sa ti, the System’s voice rang out again.
[Number of Survivors – 400.]
[Common Lobby – Unlocked.]
[Online Trading – Unlocked.]
[Personal Information Panel – Unlocked.]
[Chat Window – Unlocked.]
[Newbie Gift Pack – Delivered.]
Right then, Rover saw that a sphere of light was truly floating before him, radiating a soft white glow.
Rover frowned. He reached out, intending to touch it, when the chanical voice of the System echoed once more.
[The official start of the ga begins in 24 hours. The first event, "Zombie Raid," will last for seven days. Zombies will grow stronger as ti passes.]
Rover quickly cald himself. After all, he had read countless novels during his free ti, so he understood well what he had encountered.
"This is the Survival, Infinite-type genre I usually read?" he muttered.
Frowning, he opened the Chat Window. At that mont, he realized he could control the system simply with his thoughts, even typing ssages through thought alone.
[Room 204 – Alex: Damn it! What the hell is happening? Did I really get pulled into a novel world?]
[Room 28 – Sunny: I am the protagonist. My na says it all. Everyone, follow the light of my destiny.]
[Room 109 – Billy: Follow you? Are you insane? Have you read too many novels?]
[Room 44 – Anna: Huhuhu... Soone get
out of here, please. I need to see my parents again. I’m still young, I don’t want to die.]
[Room 16 – Horan: Quiet down for a mont. First we need to understand what is happening and how this ga operates, only then can we survive.]
Rover saw all kinds of people in the global chat, displaying all sorts of emotions. So were terrified, so excited.
He checked the interface for a while and discovered that the chat function worked just like a ssaging app. You could add friends, chat privately, or even create group chats.
Rover exhaled softly. "So I really got dragged into the Infinite Ga?"
He recalled the "Infinite" novels he had read. All of them were extrely brutal. In fact, many of them ended with the main character dying.
So novels had to replace the protagonist multiple tis because even the main character could not withstand the cruelty of this ga.
To be precise, here, every person is a protagonist, yet none of them are guaranteed to survive until the very end.
Rover glanced at the glowing orb hovering before him, but instead of touching it right away, he walked toward the door.
His reinforced tal door had been replaced with a thick wooden one, and a small peephole had appeared on it for observing the outside.
He peered through the peephole and discovered that the corridor had changed as well, turning into a dark, aged place covered in cobwebs.
Rover observed for a long while. Feeling that everyone seed to be staying inside their rooms, he cracked the door open slightly to assess his surroundings.
"This corridor... it’s different from before. There are only ten rooms here, aning ten people are on this floor?" Rover muttered.
He looked at his door. The number 2705 was hanging on it, aning floor 27, room 5.
Rover scanned the area for a mont, then closed the door and walked toward the bed — the only remaining piece of furniture in his room.
"Before this, I lived on the 7th floor, room 8. There were only five rooms on that floor." Rover recalled his previous mories. "Looks like the entire building has been altered. Which ans... people who lived in the sa building with
may not have been brought to this world at all."
He let out a long exhale. His hand stretched toward the glowing orb while he silently prayed in his heart: ’Please... give
sothing useful. If not, then at least give
sothing that can help
survive.’
The mont his hand touched the light orb, it burst like a soap bubble, and then an information panel appeared before him.
[Congratulations, you have obtained: Survivor Backpack 40x40x40cm; Random Class Card x1; 100 silver coins; bread x3; water x350ml.]
[Survivor Backpack: Ti within it is frozen. However, only items may be stored; living creatures cannot be placed inside. Size: 40x40x40cm.]
[Random Class Card: Upon use, grants a random Class. (Rank categories: F, D, C, B, A, S.)]
[Silver Coins: Extrely valuable. Do not waste them or drop them carelessly. They have been placed inside your backpack.]
Rover read the notification and quietly sighed.
The Survivor Backpack was not a physical bag, but rather a storage space displayed within the System.
He used his thoughts to open it. Inside were indeed 100 silver coins. Each coin was roughly two centiters in diater, engraved on one side with a symbol of an open eye, and on the other side, a strange hexagonal mark.
Rover placed the coins back into the Backpack, then commanded: "Use the Random Class Card."
[Random Class Card used successfully. You have obtained the Class Rank SSS – Omni chanic.]

Rover’s mouth hung open. His eyes stared fixedly at the information panel as he stamred, "Rank... SSS? Is this... actually real? System, just how strong is a Rank SSS?"
The System did not respond, yet Rover already knew the answer he wanted in his heart.
Suddenly, Rover’s gaze shifted as he looked toward the door.
[Shabby Wooden Door]
[Type: Structure]
[Grade: 0]
[Defense: 5]
[Durability: 10/15 (Requires 1 Wood Material for repair.)]
[Upgrade Cost: 10 Omni Points.]
[Description: An old, worn wooden door. If attacked by zombies, it will not last long.]
The floating information panel could be minimized or expanded as he wished, simply by thought.
If he wanted, it would shrink down to a single line: [Shabby Wooden Door].
Rover took a deep breath. Joy surged inside him so fiercely it bordered on madness. He muttered, "It can be upgraded. I can upgrade everything? And this wooden door... can it actually stop zombies?"
But rembering what the System had said earlier, it was clear that this door was directly tied to his life.
If the door did not fall, the room would not collapse.
