...…

After a few minutes of quantum travel, Azmodeus finally made it to the approximate coordinates of the Core of a 1st Layered Plane of Infinity.

When he arrived at this radiantly sparkling location, he moved faster than a blink as he grabbed the core and disappeared from his spot.

After he left, all of reality started to crumble and fall apart, as taking away the universe-sized Core was akin to ripping away the heart of a human.

Because of this decisive action taken by Azmodeus, countless dinsions rapidly corroded before assimilating into the void.

At the end of this process, the Single Layered Plane of Infinity was no more...

However, the one who caused this all to happen could hardly care less about such miniscule amounts of destruction, as he only truly cared about himself.

With the repeated altering of his emotions, only an instinctual drive to strive remained. And though this might sound sad for most, for him… it was all he needed..

-

ZIP!

Azmodeus zipped through many layers of the Quantum Realm, seeing a number of First Layered Planes of Infinity on his way up. He also saw a large number of Half Layered and One and a Half Layered Plane's of Infinity. However, not a single one of them mattered to the current him, so he took his singular core and vacated this infinite dinsion.

FWIP!

When Azmodeus arrived back in the outermost layer of the Starry Plane, the first thing he did was take out the Infinity Core.

"Hmm?"

He noticed that the size had already adjusted to this higher plane of existence, which made things a lot easier for him.

WHOOSH!

His hands moved around the Infinity Core as he made sure it was of sufficient quality. After confirming that it was, he took the Spiritual Island out of his Dantian Space.

Following this action, he floated the Infinity Core to the Spiritual Island.

BLING!

A bright flash of splendiferous light erupted from the Spiritual Island the mont the Core made contact with it!

The sight was a dazzling one, but it wasn't yet at the level where Azmodeus was forced to close his eyes. So, of course, he left them open and continued to watch the upgrading process of his new system feature.

It wasn't like he could actually understand anything that he was looking at. However, watching such a profound process firsthand was sure to have untold benefits for the future.

Even so, after the light died down, he was taken out of his lucid enlightennt.

The first thing he did was take a good look at the Infinity Core, and that was when he noticed its complete disappearance. Not even a slight trace of its aura was still present.

Even so, Azmodeus had his gaze instead hone in on the Spiritual Island.

That was when he realized that the quality of life on the island had multiplied and expanded. It even reached a point where new species were born, such as greater amounts of intelligent insects and birds.

Although there wasn't anything in the mammal category, as well as nothing with above-average intelligence, it was still better than before.

However, that was not the most impressive change in Azmodeus's opinion, as it was instead the fact that the isolated size of the structure extended past 1000 ters!

It actually went from 20 ters to 1000 ters, and it did so without even noticing the warp in space…

Azmodeus marveled at this phenonon as he observed every inch of the island, quickly catching a glance at what appeared to be sand.

"Hmm…" He scrutinized the few dots of sand at the easternmost corner of the island, wondering why there was so little of it.

It's almost like the place was cut off from a larger area-

And that was when it hit him!

"This place… This Spiritual Island… Is it a plot of land sectioned off from a higher plane of existence?"

These words were followed by him touching the Spiritual Island as he transmitted his intent into it, subsequently forcing his body to zorp across ti and space.

FWIP!

When Azmodeus opened his eyes, he was back inside the little do-like island.

Contrary to the last ti he was here, there was no longer a deafening silence. It was instead replaced by the chirping of birds and insects as well as a slight humming that seed to resonate with the world.

*Thud! Thud!*

Azmodeus took firm steps onto the ground, curious as to just how sturdy it was.

However, after understanding that he would never be able to inflict even the slightest amount of damage, his actions ceased. After which, he looked toward the spot with a sparse amount of sand.

Quick strides were made as he moved over to this anomaly, bending down in a swift fashion.

"What exactly are you…?" Azmodeus looked the sand particles up and down but was unable to find any difference between their molecular makeup and that of regular sand.

If this place is indeed a section of a higher world, then why does everything seem so normal…?

The first thing he thought of was the Qi, as it would surely be of higher quality if the Spiritual Island was indeed a piece of a higher world. However, after noticing no difference in Qi density between here and the Starry Expanse, his theories started to fall apart.

"Is this truly part of a higher world…? Or am I just imagining things, and it's actually a product of the system?"

Azmodeus pondered the matter for quite a while as ti passed unimpeded-

"Wait… ti…"

That extrely complex concept was what made him think about possible discrepancies in ti between here and the Starry Expanse.

This thought led to him leaving the island as he set a tir using so form of advanced technology. Putting the tir on a nearby asteroid, he then went back to the Spiritual Island.

Azmodeus waited a few minutes within the island, allowing ti to pass.

When he figured it was ti to get out and test his theory, he left the Spiritual Island, went to the tir, and picked it up.

Upon looking at the units indicated on the holographic screen, he realized sothing utterly mind-blowing...
