...…

"???" "???" "???"

The other Astral Princes looked toward their leader with confused expressions, as they didn't know what he was talking about.

"Did you divine sothing, Elder Marvoth?" One of them inquired.

Marvoth turned his ridiculing face away from Azmodeus and responded, "Yes, it seems like the Laws of Ti have been altered, and it wasn't rely a single ti that it happened."

"You're saying-"

"Indeed, this one is a byproduct of an ant ti traveling using so form of rune—a rune that has sohow escaped our sight." Marvoth finished the words of the second eldest prince, as the intrigued gleam in his eyes only intensified.

"But for sothing to pass by our sight… they would have to possess outside assistance… and to do sothing like that, it would have to be at the very least a Star System of Rank 3 or higher… Are you sure we can handle the repercussions of interfering in the plans of such an illustrious organization?"

One of the youngest of the Astral Princes, Reckoth, brought up a very logical question. After all, getting past their divine sight should normally be impossible…

*Sigh…*

An archaic sigh escaped the cracked lips of Marvoth as he lightly shook his head. "You are too young and inexperienced to understand the intricacies of divination, Reckoth. As this ant has already used ti travel on multiple different tilines, causing parallel versions of ourselves quite a lot of trouble."

"T-This is…" Reckoth mumbled while frozen in place.

He never would've expected a re low level mortal to go against them so many tis!

"You needn't worry about anything, for in the end, this bug will always co back using so mysterious ans. Still, it is best we erase him from this tiline, restore the damage done, and leave him for the next versions of ourselves."

Marvoth's iridescent aura fluctuated a little bit as the screen of divine light covering his body had a number of energy tendrils extend outward.

He planned to do the exact sa thing that all past versions of him did, which all essentially followed the principle of 'If he's not here, then how is it my problem?'.

The normal sequence of events for the plethora of Azmodeus's would be the arrival of the 10 True Astral Princes after achieving a certain level of strength or renown.

Thereafter, the Astral Princes would kill the one who dared interfere in their 'Faith Value' farm.

But before the Azmodeus in question could die, he would activate a one-ti-use ti rune, sending him back a random number of years. But, it would be at the cost of his lifespan…

However, this ti around, Azmodeus decided to destroy everything in the Astral Plane, similar to what a couple versions of him had done.

But different from before, instead of activating the ti rune, he would do sothing else—sothing that could be seen as utterly insane to an outsider.

But to him, there was nothing more sane…

"Tell , why is it that people struggle for more power, status, or strength?"

"???" "???" "???"

The 10 True Astral Princes looked toward the ant who decided to speak.

They never would've expected a re low mortal to have the capabilities to withstand their auras, let alone speak up in their presence.

Even so, they weren't beings who stayed easily surprised for long. Thus, the imasurably large cosmic body of Marvoth moved a step forward before he got on his knees and tilted his head a little to the right.

"Why do you speak, nuisance? Are you not afraid?" He asked as his faceless filant of light morphed into a dark red color, followed by a horrifying expression erging above his malicious smirk.

Universes and Cosmos could be seen swirling around inside that enormous head of his, as they all ca together with the sole purpose of inducing terror in the ant!

However, contrary to Marvoth's expectations, Azmodeus did not even flinch in the face of such a monstrosity, as he once again asked, "Why do people struggle for more than they have? Why do they do sothing that the masses view as futile? Tell … why?"

"...."

Marvoth's scary expression froze for a second. Then, he got up from his crouched position, subsequently causing his face to return to the blank state that it was before.

"You ask such pointless things, ant. But since you insist on being a bother till the very end, I will answer your question before I devour you." He spoke with an indecipherable tone, his spiraling cosmic eyes focused on the tiny man.

He attempted to understand how it was that the ant managed to escape into a different tiline upon encountering other versions of himself.

But even with his divine sight in full activation, he couldn't discern what exactly made it possible for soone so weak to disconnect from tiline after tiline…

Nevertheless, he still decided to say, "People yearn for more because it is only natural! It is only natural to want to beco better! And no matter what must be done, people like will always pay the price…!"

Marvoth seed to recall sothing from a past long gone, as an indescribable glint flashed past his star-filled eyes.

And when he turned his face down toward the mortal, he saw a similar look in his eyes…

It was this very look that caused him to dart his gaze toward a certain direction in space, as he realized right then and there that he had been played the fool!

"How!? How did you escape our tangible line of sight!? A clone… this is… a Life Treasure…" Marvoth shouted with fury evident in his voice as he tried to grab the mountain in the distance.

"It's too late… Your negligence was your folly, and it will also be the reason for your death…" Azmodeus spoke with a cold, placid tone as he watched the aftershadow of Marvoth move toward the other half of his main body.

"You know, the outco might've been different if you looked outside of the world that you assud only revolved around you. But in the end, I guess your will wasn't strong enough…" Azmodeus muttered.
