— Within the Forest of Jagga, Ancient Desolate Continent —
"Eldest Senior Brother Mo, you told us the Spiritual Herbs were all over here, so where are they??"
The impatient voice of a young man wearing Eastern-style clothes carried through the moist forest air. Leaf crunches were produced by this man and several others as they ventured further into the Forest of Jagga.
Mo Fuchan, the one referred to as the Eldest Senior Brother, clicked his tongue.
It wasn't like he was all that happy about being unable to find the Spiritual Herbs either!
"Just keep on walking; they're definitely sowhere around here," he said with a bit of irritation. "Spiritual Herbs don't just disappear for no reason—"
"Look, Eldest Senior Brother Mo!" a young robed girl called out, pointing at a wide crater that could be peeked through so shrubbery.
A Natural Phenonon!?
Mo Fuchan and his party imdiately scurried over to the clearing that housed the crater. There, in the center of the smoking pit in the ground, was a flower that shone with unmatched brilliance.
A Divine Natural Treasure!
It had to be!
"I know this Spiritual Herb!" A robed man with pulled-back hair took out a book on botany and showed everyone an illustration that looked almost identical to the colorful flower in the crater. "It's a Nine-Petaled Rainbow Rose! Tier 3 Natural Treasure!"
"!!!" "!!!" "!!!"
Tier 3!?
That was the equivalent of a Foundation Establishnt Realm Spiritual Herb!
Could sothing as extrely valuable and rare as this really be found in such a low-level place!?
"It must've fallen from the High-Heaven Kingdom!" a short-haired robed man awed at the huge floating landmass sitting thousands of miles off the ground. "To the god-like beings up there, sothing like a Tier 3 Natural Treasure is worth the sa as trash!"
Could it really be possible that a supre expert from the High-Heaven Kingdom actually threw away a Tier 3 Natural Treasure…? Even to them, wouldn't that be a large waste??
Although Mo Fuchan was thinking as such, the enticent of the Nine-Petaled Rainbow Rose was simply too great to ignore.
Consuming it would directly improve one's cultivation by a single Minor Stage as long as you were in or below the Foundation Establishnt Realm. Furthermore, if your Spirit Roots were below the Seventh Grade, you'd receive an improvent of one rank of quality.
A miraculous and invaluable item!
He had to have it!
Narrowing his eyes, Mo Fuchan flipped his cold gaze between all of his junior brothers and sisters. In his mind, he was debating whether or not he should kill them now or on their return trip back to the Greenfla Sect.
As the Eldest Senior Brother of the Tier 1 Sect, he was considered very strong. His cultivation at the Viscera Stage of Body Refinent put him on the sa level as the Sect Elders.
While he and the others had their own thoughts at the discovery of the Tier 3 Natural Treasure, a young and pretty bright-eyed girl marveled at sothing that no one else attached any value to.
A tiny seed—one with a faint red, black, and purple hue.
It was sticking out of the periter of the crater and possessed even less spiritual power than the most basic of Tier 1 Spiritual Herbs. But for so reason, this young girl, called Yi Yu, couldn't take her eyes away from it.
"So pretty…" she murmured while approaching the edge of the cliff where the Tier 3 Natural Treasure had crashed.
At the sa ti, Mo Fuchan threw out the first strike against the junior who'd give him the most trouble. This led to a series of screams as blood was shed—and continued to be shed.
"Ahhh!"
"W-What are you doing, Eldest Senior Brother!?"
"Have you gone insane, you bastard…!?"
"Who cares what you ants think!" Mo Fuchan laughed like a maniac, repeatedly swinging out with his silver sword. "This Natural Treasure will be mine, and with it, I'll ascend to the Marrow Refinent Stage!!"
SHING! SHING! SHING!
But as if in a trance, while crimson liquid was splattering the surroundings, Yi Yu bent down and carefully took the unusual seed out of the ground.
CRACK—!
At the exact mont she picked up the seed, the earth beneath her feet broke apart from the cliff's lip. Unable to catch her balance or jump out of the way in ti, Yi Yu tumbled off the side.
'The seed!'
Even while her life was on the line, she prioritized the safety of the seed. She held it close to her heart and closed her eyes, preparing herself for the pain that was sure to assault her senses.
"Damn, one got away!" Mo Fuchan cursed while looking down at the deep cliffside.
Wiping off so of the blood that he was drenched in, he stord off in the opposite direction.
"This'll just have to do," he said while wearing a cruel grin. "Even if she survived a fall like that, there's no way she'll live for long. That ans I can breakthrough without a worry! No one is left alive to refute the tale I'll tell the elders, haha!!"
anwhile, at the rocky depths of the cliffside—
*Twitch, Twitch*
Faint signs of life could be seen from the battered and bloodied girl sprawled out like a lifeless doll.
Yet, even with her lifeforce rapidly draining, her dimd eyes were wholly focused on the cut-up seed that had dropped out of her broken arms. She seed to be trying to reach out for it, but her body refused to listen to her.
'Sorry, Little Seed… I thought I could protect you, but it turns out I was useless all the way up to my final monts…'
Just as her consciousness began to slip away, a dazzling light erupted from the unusual seed.
OOOM!
This light signified the complete assimilation of the Idle Evolution System!
A new existence was born! One destined to reach the pinnacle of Evolution!
However, even with a consciousness within this seed yet to fully materialize, an intent was transmitted to the unfamiliar entity called the Idle Evolution System. This intent conveyed just two words—but they were words that forced a wide grin on the invisible blue world-sphere hovering next to the seed.
'Help her.'
