Evil laughter rang out inside of Cassius's head as he found sothing fun that would help him find mphis. Moreover, it might even help him beco powerful enough to surpass 1000 Unity and upgrade his Origin Village to the next Tier!
Off to the Pits of Tartarus!
Hundreds of die-hard fans were left staring at their departing Idol Goddess with a clearly ntally unstable man. Regret flooded their hearts—regret over not begging their parents to birth them as more handso specins.
As Angels, they were innately beautiful creatures. But before that Noble Angel, they might as well be no different from gri or dirt…
Such was life.
— anwhile, within the Wolfdom Dinsion, on the 6th Floor, a secret eting was being held —
*Whisp—*
"Why is the Prodigal Conqueror not here yet?"
A deep and gruff voice carried through air that slled of bark and trees. The owner of the voice sat on a naturally made seat that surrounded a pit of flas that sizzled and popped with unmatched heat. Adjacent to him in a circular formation were beings very similar to him, both in strength and race—
Werewolves!
Right now, they were in their true forms. The n were gnarly and terrifying furry beasts over three ters tall, whereas the won were far more human-looking, with the only differences between them and regular human won being their fluffy tails, fluffy ears, and sharp nails.
They were also more feral, but knowing most regular won, that wasn't much of a change…
"The Prodigal Conqueror should've ascended to the 6th Floor years ago," said one of the male figures gathered around the insanely hot pit. "But just recently, I heard he changed his route and moved from the Land of Monsters to the Heavenly Kingdom, where he then repeated his path of carnage."
"Even the Heavenly Kingdom was not spared from that brat's conquest!?" The expression of an older-looking Werewolf drastically contorted. "Where do the limits of this little bastard lie!? Does he plan to be the first in hundreds of thousands of years to conquer the entire Ascension Tower!??"
A different Werewolf with a long gray beard laughed disdainfully. "You must be drinking too much ale, Dolfor! Haha! If you honestly think so kid who just started growing hair down there actually has a chance of completely conquering the Ascension Tower, then you've downed ten too many!"
Soone else with a long gray beard nodded repeatedly. "Morkol is right," he began. "Doing sothing like that is not only slightly impossible, it's more fantasy than the definition of the word. No, this brat has simply gotten a little lucky, what with having to only fight slightly above-average Transcendents and below."
Cackling, one of the most powerful among the Peak and above Transcendent Werewolves gathered today threw his huge, muscular arms up.
"Even my eldest son, Fazrir, could do sothing like that!" he shouted, his voice a bit grating. "That brat is truly getting ahead of himself by vying for the Heavenly Kingdom! But if he's fortunate enough not to get himself killed, I bet he'll gun for the fastly approaching Tournant of Yggdrasil. And with my eldest participating in that very tournant, I'll have him teach the unruly brat a lesson or two about what happens to those who ss with the Moonshadow Clan!!"
In the Wolfdom Dinsion, the power hierarchy system was focused around the Clans, of which there were dozens, with the Minor Ones typically hanging around the Lower Floors, leading packs and upholding order throughout the Ascension Tower.
Among the nurous Werewolf Clans, there were a few that stood above the rest. The Moonshadow Clan was one of such Clans, having within their ranks hundreds of millions of Werewolves.
Moreover, they had thousands of Transcendents, making them far larger than even the likes of the Aluria Family in the Realm of Pleasure. Their strongest powerhouses, such as the Werewolf sitting by the fire pit, were also a notch above the most efficient Killer Succubi Protectors of the Alurias, being only a little behind the Succubus Queen herself.
"So you think he'll live?" inquired the first Werewolf who spoke. "I thought you told us he bit more than he could chew. For soone with a take like that, you seem oddly confident that he'll live past the Heavenly Kingdom."
Clicking his tongue in annoyance, the other Werewolf, Dardel, folded his veiny arms. "Of course you'd care about small stuff like that, Introl," he remarked. "You've always been such a nit-pick! But yet, I believe there's a chance he'll live. After all, from what I heard, he didn't conquer the Arches of the Heavenly Kingdom in the sa barbaric way he did ours, HELL, and the Land of Monsters. Rather, he mostly snuck around while traveling up the Heavenly Arches, only attacking and incapacitating nosy Angels when it beca absolutely necessary."
"Plus," he added, his voice turning sour, "you know the Heavenly Progenitor. He rarely severely punishes those daring enough to attempt to conquer his Domain. The only exception… was our 4th Forefather, Fangalore."
The expressions of those present darkened, with black lines streaking across their nacing wolf faces.
Fangalore was a never-before-seen prodigy of the Wolfdom Kingdom, having been the #1 Rising Star of all 8 Ascension Towers tens of thousands of years ago. Reaching the Transcendent Rank at 30, the Godlike Rank at 100, and the Peak Godlike Rank at 500—there were very few throughout history this unbelievably talented.
However, his talent fed his ego. And that got the better of him, for he attempted to fight one of the most imasurably powerful entities in the Ascension Tower.
The Heavenly Progenitor.
Or as he's more commonly known as—
GOD.
Yet, even with the Heavenly Progenitor's eminent status so well-known, with his power even more so, Fangalore's arrogance knew no bounds. He bombarded the Arches of the Heavenly Kingdom with his Fangs of Oblivion, reaping the lives of countless Angels.
And for a brief period of ti, Fangalore remained unbeatable. He tore through the Dinsional Barriers of the Heavenly Kingdom, battled and defeated Arch-Angels, and actively taunted the other Dinsions to put a stop to his ascendance to the Apex.
But in the very mont he forcefully reached the 7th Arch of the Heavenly Kingdom—the personal domain of the Heavenly Progenitor—the 4th Werewolf Forefather realized just how foolish he had been.
