All of the illusory blue screens were what Cassius saw in the exact mont he entered the Peak Purple-rank Gate with the graceful Viola. It was fair to say that he showed a disgruntled expression in the very sa period of ti. The more he read, the more his emotions fluctuated. Find more chapters on My Virtual Library Empire

"???" Viola saw his perplexing state and wondered what could possibly be going through his head. 'Is he maybe thinking about …? About forcing down and dominating until he's satisfied!? The vile fiend of a man!!'

Now it was Cassius's turn to be confused.

He looked over and saw the relatively short purple-haired beauty wiggling in place while defensively holding her breasts and body. The way she was behaving was in no way befitting that of a Guild Leader, but he hadn't t many Guild Leaders so far, thus it was difficult for him to determine that all Guild Leaders weren't actually as weird as this one.

'Perhaps they're all weirdos… They do say that the most influential figures in the world are eccentric…'

Cassius's thoughts floated around inside his head until the very mont an ear-deafening whistling sound broke through the sound barrier. Moreover, it did so not once, not tens of tis, but tens of thousands of tis!

WABOOOOM!!!

A mountain in the vicinity exploded outward, sending chunks of rock flying in every direction. Then, with a thundering appearance, a giant silverish blue tal rod shot through the air-born mountain debris and aid straight for two calm figures.

The two figures greatly contrasted in appearance and hidden nature, but at the exact mont the tal rod appeared, their deanors seed to sync up. They coldly stared at the rod that trumped them in size by a magnitude of hundreds of thousands of tis. Viola went to lift her hand, with the Space-elent lingering around her. But before she could send the rod to the void, a crisp sword unsheathing sound resounded.

"!!!" She turned her head toward Cassius, but only saw a brief glimpse of a jagged katana the size of a person. Then, when she blinked, the sword had vanished.

And when her attention was diverted to an agonizing scream echoing out from hundreds of miles away, she was astonished to find the silverish blue rod split into countless chunks. Furthermore, standing on top of a mountain range a good distance away was a colossal humanoid with glowing white lines spiderwebbed around its body. However, above all else, what attracted Viola's attention the most was the fact that this majestic entity had a line of blood and guts splitting it in half.

Slowly, both sides of its body tipped off to either side of the mountain range.

The eventual conclusion was two booming thuds that cracked the distant mountain range. Yet, from this gory tragedy, there erged a resplendently glowing black and white sphere. This was the Core of an Oblivion Titan.

While Viola was still finding her voice, Cassius sauntered forward. His wispy Shadow Monarch's cloak flapped in the wind as he said without turning around, "Let's go."

When the Voidling Guild Leader finally ca to, a small pout ford on her flawless face. She looked out at the scenery and saw dozens of mountain tops currently in the process of sliding off their bases. She begrudgingly thought, 'He really had the nerve to call himself weak. What a shaless wolf-like man he is!'

Viola huffed and puffed as she trailed behind the young man whose image kept on becoming more and more mysterious in her mind.

When they made it to the mountain range and looked up at the massive split-in-half Oblivion Titan corpse, Cassius leapt up and landed on the corpse. After which, he ripped away at the ligants and such attached to the Magic Shard, or now evolved Core.

You see, once an A-Rank organism evolved to the S-Rank as a Monster-lineage user, their Magic Shard would achieve 20 points and thus transform into a sphere. This sphere was dubbed the 'Magic Core' and was worth far more than a Magic Shard.

On Earth, a Magic Core of the weakest variety could go for hundreds of millions of USD. And with thousands of them going up on the market every single week, the acquisition of Magic Cores beca a several trillion-dollar industry.

Of course, with very few Hunters actually capable of hunting an S-Rank Monster, the Magic Core industry was nowhere near as giant as it could be. Even among S-Rank Hunters, the weaker ones would not be able to hunt and successfully kill a racially superior S-Rank Monster by themselves. Only those within the Top 100 S-Rank Hunter list were strong enough to solo kill S-Rank Monsters.

Vera, the Russian Hunter from before, was Rank 91 on that list.

Viola, on the other hand, was Rank 56!

But even though both of them were incredibly powerful, if they were to go all out against one another, Vera would die 100 tis out of 100 tis. The difference was insurmountable. And with power levels practically set in stone, Vera would likely forever remain at Rank 91.

Her ti for challenging stronger Hunters to determine her rank was a ti long gone; her position unchanging…

—-------------

—Five minutes later—

'If I'm Rank 56 among the S-Rank Hunters, then… Then where the hell does this freakish bastard place…?'

What Viola saw before her was sothing that she had not even heard of the Top 50 S-Rank Hunters accomplishing.

Sprawled out across thousands of miles of rocky whitish black terrain were dozens of Oblivion Titans, nearly numbering past one hundred. All of them were either dismbered or missing 80% of their bodies, with their unusually colored black and white blood painting the surroundings.

However, the weirdest had yet to occur, for in the very next mont, all of the blood within the Oblivion Titan corpses started to gravitate upwards. Then, simultaneously, countless gallons of the blackish white blood sailed through the air before colliding with the tiny emotionless figure perched atop a ssy Oblivion Titan corpse.
