There were a few other unique Skills that were either already there or fused with others that Cassius kept around, such as the S- Rank Flight Skill, but more than 95% of his Skills produced the two S Skills.
As the seconds rolled into minutes and Cassius quickly adjusted to performing the motions recorded in the Basic Movent Manual, he realized that ti was dwindling. If he didn't make it back to Yimin within the next half an hour or so, he feared what sort of disastrous predicant she would find herself in.
[You reached the 1st Layer of the 'Basic Movent Manual.']
[You reached the Peak of the 1st Layer of the 'Basic Movent Manual.']
[You reached the 2nd Layer of the 'Basic Movent Manual.']
"I guess the 2nd Layer is sufficient for now," mused Cassius as he packed himself and his Evomon up, preparing to approach the gastructure lingering in the background. "It was becoming exponentially harder to progress in proficiency after achieving the 2nd Layer anyway, and with that Hellish Sphinx surely laying in wait within that enormous pyramid building, I can set aside further practice for later."
He had, however, worked up quite a sweat from practicing the difficult motions of the Basic Movent Manual, so he cleaned himself with the Water and Wind Elents. Then, with a precise quickness many tis faster than before, he blurred toward the giant pyramid.
A millisecond passed.
Upon closing in on the gastructure, Cassius realized that he was a long way off from his original predictions of this place's size. Simply put, it was astronomically massive, possibly even nearing the size of a small country.
Out in the middle of nowhere, it was akin to a beacon of light—a symbol of advancent. Just the technology that went into building sothing as grandiose as this certainly far exceeded anything that Modern Earth could replicate.
Now, this begged the question: What could've possibly occurred in this dinsion for an obviously advanced civilization to be no more?
What could transform a tallic world of wonder into a Hellish wasteland overrun by vile Demons…?
After a mont of contemplation, Cassius slightly shook his head before directing his attention to the matter ahead of him.
"The Oracle Sphinx's Pyramid—let us see how this one turns out."
Along with the vocal announcent of the rusted pyramid he was stepping foot into was the fluctuation of a massive shadow that trailed behind him like an all-devouring void—a blackhole that grew ever so ominously.
{[Oracle Sphinx's Pyramid (A Rank)]} - [Boss Area]
—[This Pyramid serves as the most prominent and unexplainable remains of a technologically advanced civilization that vanished long ago. The entity once idolized as the 'future' of this civilization has long since had its consciousness corroded by demonic energies. Now, it eternally persists in the land of Demons as the Guardian of the Gate.]
[Warning!] [Warning!] [Warning!]
[The Host should remain extrely vigilant while exploring the Oracle Sphinx's Pyramid! Death is likely! Uncertainties are possible!]
{[Clear Rewards:]}

[Reward 2 - (1200 AP)]
[Reward 3 - (Oracle Sphinx's Heart (Oracle Sphinx's Bloodline))]
[Reward 4 - (20 Common Evomon Rank-up Shards)]
[Reward 5 - (10 Orange-tier Dragon Pellets)]
{[Punishnt for Failure:]}
—[12 hours of being trapped in the Land of Nightmares/Nightmarescape]
"The punishnt is the sa as always, but the rewards are especially lucrative this ti around," said Cassius, a small smile tugging at his lips. "With these rewards on top of the ones that I'll already be receiving from clearing the Gate, I should level up a few tis. And that is completely excluding what I'll get from exploring and killing my way through this… place…"
Observing his surroundings, Cassius felt a chilling aura that seeped into the very tallic bricks that held the pyramid together. There were corridors, all tall and wide; they stretched in countless different directions from his position. Where they led was unknown.
But there truly was only one way to know.
"My only path is forward."
Cassius's emotionless words echoed throughout the spacious tallic corridors as he vanished into the darkness of the damaged pyramid interior. In re monts, his presence was no more.
However, if one listened close enough, they would hear what sounded like sword clangs. Then, within the darkness, charged sparks flew around, lighting the whole place afla.
Yet, after a few seconds, no more sword sparks appeared…
—anwhile, in the world outside, at the Headquarters of the widely renowned S-Rank Guild 'Dragonlins'—
Faint steps produced sounds that bounced off the fla-adorned walls of a massive building located in the center of Shibuya. Victor Rapido, looking rather anxious, hurried through the halls of this building. Eventually, though, his figure blurred forward as he traversed the entire place in an instant.
When he reappeared, he was standing at the outer edges of a large stadium-sized training arena. This arena, fad as the true ho of the fearso Dragonlin Guild Leader Kaida, was fortified to a level exceeding even national treasuries. There were enough formation spells set up in this place by top-class Mages to make even the safest places in the world feel a bit inferior.
However, rather than be used to safekeep soone or sothing, this arena was made for the sole purpose of preventing the destruction of massive plots of land when the Dragonlin Guild mbers trained. This was especially the case for the one who stayed here most often.
Kaida Drakenshield—the Japanese S-Rank Hunter most well known for her affinity with anything draconic. She herself was rumored to be able to transform into a dragon.
An even more far-fetched rumor was that she had been raised by dragons since young and was even seen as one of the youngest S-Rank Awakeners in existence.
When she was but 11 years old, she suddenly erged from within a deep forest growth outside Tokyo. She wore rags, had wild fla-like hair, and had an equally savage gleam in her eyes. To the people who first reported her appearance, they said that they assud she had been a wild animal or monster.
It was only later revealed, after she accidentally beat up dozens of policen and Hunters, that she was in actuality a human—and one of the S-Rank no less!
