’Is she grumpy or sothing?’ wondered Jin.

Though, whatever the case may be, rida certainly wasn’t in the best of moods right now.

rida, who had just placed a hand on the Affinity Ball, puffed her cheeks the second she knew nobody could see her face.

"Where’s my Arthur at?? He promised he’d co this year... Is he lying to his big sister now...?" she mumbled under her breath, making a slightly scary expression.

Fortunately, except for the wryly smiling Jin, nobody else heard what rida said. They were all far too distracted by the giant eruption of red light pulsating off of the Affinity Ball.

"These results..."

The Dean paused before smiling.

"Yet another genius. As expected of soone from the Royal Family."

Moon God Academy was not preferential to those descended from higher social classes, but it was undeniable that genes played a huge role in Elental talent.

And what better gene-holders were there than those who ca from the Royal Family? A family that had endured many generations of selective breeding in order to produce the very cream of the crop?

It was solely because of impeccable genes that the Moonshire Family had been able to stay in power for such a long ti. Without those genes, they likely would’ve fallen out of favor centuries ago.

With all eyes on the Affinity Orb rida was touching, words seed to manifest on its surface.

"Primary Elental Affinity(s): Fire (Highest), Earth (Highest), Dark (Highest)"

Another Tri-Primary Elental Genius, with all at the Highest level!

As for Secondary Affinities...

"Secondary Elental Affinity(s): Nether (Highest), Blaze (Highest), Gravity (Highest), Cinderstone (Highest), Obsidian (Highest), Night (Highest), Eclipse (Highest), Shadow (High)...."

Princess rida possessed just about the sa number of Affinities as Eira. If forced to fight each other at the sa Realm, it was unknown which of these two monsters would co out on top.

’...My sister still has that sa peculiar trait, but I’m now under the belief that her obsessiveness stems from her Elental Affinities.’

It was not uncommon for one’s Affinities to affect their personalities. In fact, it was pretty common after one achieved a high enough Realm.

While thinking about his sister and the mysteries centered around Elents, hours passed. Millions of youngsters had already been tested, with only a few hundred thousand still patiently waiting their turn in line.

But now, in front of one of the many thousands of Affinity Testers, Jin stepped up to the front of the line.

It was ti for him to go up.

However, contrary to how everyone was when top-tier geniuses like rida, Eira, and a few others had their Affinities tested, barely anyone was paying attention to Jin. The vast majority of the population had never seen the Crown Prince, so naturally, they didn’t know who he was.

But there was one, with a particularly potent sniffer, who turned in his direction the mont he revealed an extrely tiny portion of the unique signature aura that only she could sense.

"Little brother~!" rida fervently shouted, hearts swirling around in her eyes as she waved at Jin.

This action obviously attracted many. They looked at the red-haired girl—famously known for her fiery personality—acting like so sort of fangirl. It made them doubt whether that was actually the Vermillion Princess they all knew and worshipped.

It also had them focusing on the cause of her abrupt change in personality.

That was when they saw him. A young boy who looked to be no older than nine or ten, walking up to an Affinity Tester. His hair, most eye-catching of all, was black and white in color—very unusual.

"Whoever this boy is, he’s super duper cute!"

"I know, right?? Kawaii~!"

"You dumb lasses, did you not just hear what the Vermillion Princess called that boy?? If you don’t want your head disconnected from the rest of your body by morning, I’d suggest you refrain from speaking any further!"

"Wait... Little brother...?"

The pretty girls enamored by Jin’s appearance started to connect the dots.

"Oh..."

Color drained from their faces as they realized the grave blunder they had just made.

Luckily, they averted their gazes just before the territorial lioness caught them in her predatory sights.

Clicking her tongue, rida said, "I could’ve sworn I just felt the presence of a couple dumb b*tches."

Although not many were privy to the Crown Prince’s appearance, almost every citizen and mber of high society was aware of 12th Princess rida’s... abnormal inclinations.

It was actually rumored that one of the reasons so little was known about the Crown Prince was because of Princess rida’s ’interventions,’ which led to the mysterious disappearances of many nosy people.

Except for the other Princesses and mbers of their direct family, even powerful nobles were in the dark about Jin’s ongoings. rida really was partly responsible for this, as she was a bonafide... Yandere.

...

At the highest vantage points of the Gorge Testing Area.

All the high-ranking Teachers were whispering to one another, their tones containing imnse curiosity.

"Do any of you know anything about Arthur, the Crown Prince?"

"I just hear that he’s a literary genius of the top-most caliber. If the rumors are true, then even the Kingdom’s most exceptional Sages pale in comparison to him."

"Actually, I’ve heard sothing similar. A few years back, the Nation was abuzz with chatter when the solitary Crown Prince was assigned Sage rlin as a tutor. At first, it was because it seed like severe overkill to have a Sage fad across the world as a re tutor, but the topic of discussion later changed to the Sage’s sudden resignation."

"Wasn’t it because Sage rlin publicly declared himself inferior to the Crown Prince? Even going so far as to claim himself incapable of teaching the Prince anything more after only a couple months of tutelage?? It was utterly unbelievable when I heard it, but after it was confird by many sources, I was forced to accept the truth."

"An incomprehensible truth, that is..."

A peculiar gleam erged in Dean Lionheart’s eyes. He, along with everyone else, intently watched Jin; they badly wanted to see what sort of talent the future King of their Nation possessed.

Ti seed to slow to a crawl as Jin’s hand neared the Affinity Tester Ball.

Until, ultimately, the tip of his index finger ca into contact with the magical object.

What followed was sothing no one present would ever forget for the rest of their lives...
