844: Chapter 9 The Ga Begins_3 844: Chapter 9 The Ga Begins_3 Bai Guo took orders, but before he could leave, crisp gunshots rang out from the right front.

A bullet whizzed past, slicing over the treetops, knocking down so leaves, and everyone unconsciously lowered their voices.

“Roughly thirty ters away,” one of the soldiers reported with confidence, “Very close.”

Blue Trojan directly endowed survivors with language specialization abilities, so there was no problem with communication between the two sides.

“Bai Guo, go take a look, everyone else stay put,” Tang Zheng teleported in and waved his hand, “Assu your positions, Sha Ou, Old Soldier, you’re in charge of the rear guard.”

“It’s that middle-aged man’s German team,” Bai Guo moved quickly, returning in thirty seconds, “They’ve sent out scouts in four directions; they’ve probably discovered us already.”

“Who’s there?

Co out, or we will open fire,” the soldiers were on alert, having detected the scout.

Fortunately, the other party wasn’t so aggressive neo-Nazi; otherwise, it might have been a shootout.

“Get down, take cover,” the Company Commander barked, instructing everyone to lie flat.

Even if they were soldiers, they hadn’t experienced actual combat.

Faced with this situation, a few of the young soldiers got nervous, forgetting their tactical maneuvers, while the newbies were completely at a loss, with the smart ones imitating others and the dummies just standing there dumbly, gazing towards the enemy’s position.

Concealed German commands could be heard from the other side, clearly aiming this way.

Although the two sides couldn’t see each other due to the dense vegetation, any exchange of fire would surely result in casualties given their proximity.

“We have no ill intentions; the priority is to familiarize ourselves with the surrounding environnt.

Engaging in combat now benefits neither side,” said a German woman during the standoff, her calm voice typically having a soothing effect on the tense atmosphere.

Fleischer hesitated—he also wanted to quickly eliminate the threatening newbie soldiers from the other side, but at the sa ti, he wanted the soldiers to cause trouble for them, unwilling to act rashly.

“We don’t want to start a fight either, let’s coexist peacefully,” Dantai took over the conversation, a situation like this obviously did not warrant the Group Leader stepping in.

“Move out,” Tang Zheng turned back, signaling everyone to move, but aside from Qin Yan and the others, the soldiers turned their gaze toward the Company Commander, waiting for his command.

“Follow his lead,” the Company Commander was not one to stubbornly cling to power, his first thought being the safety of his soldiers’ lives.

Both sides began to retreat in tacit agreent without any probing, yet fate was not on their side.

In less than a minute, dense gunfire and thudding artillery sounds erupted from the southeast.

“That’s the sound of an MK19 Grenade Launcher,” the soldier nad Su Ming identified the weapon once more.

“Bai Guo, Ruan Feifei, Sha Ou, Dantai, co with to investigate.

Qin Yan, you’re in charge of command; everyone else stay put here,” Tang Zheng recalled that none of the four small squads had chosen such a weapon, which suggested the presence of natives; perhaps they could provide intelligence on what to do next.

“Company Commander, take a few n and join us,” Dantai, less rciful than Tang Zheng, directly addressed the Company Commander, thinking it would be perfect if this guy were to die in battle.

“Platoon Leader Xiao Gao, assist them with command after I leave.

Xiao Zuo, take a squad and move out with ,” the Company Commander did not question Qin Yan’s ability, as her performance upon entering the jungle clearly showed she was elite.

After a squad of soldiers got into protective clothing, Tang Zheng imdiately took the lead as the vanguard, with Dantai following behind, an action that earned the Company Commander and Xiao Zuo’s good opinion.

Even the newbie Sha Ou, with his strengthened body, weaved through the dense vegetation without any sign of falling behind.

The Company Commander realized that despite their extensive training, there was a tendency for them to fall behind.

Xiao Zuo had the skills to be a platoon leader, but he found that he had to exert all his effort just to keep up with the few people ahead.

It was one thing for the n, but how could the large-breasted Bai Guo and Ruan Feifei be so swift?

Furthermore, as they approached the battlefield where stray bullets flew wildly, they instinctively ducked, yet the others did not slow down but instead charged toward the battlefield with agility like nimble cats.

“Watch out for stray bullets, Bai Guo, your turn,” Tang Zheng was not a reckless man.

As they neared the site of engagent, he sent Bai Guo to scout while the rest of his team concealed themselves without recklessly entering the battlefield.

True to their training as soldiers, they assud combat formation without needing instructions from Tang Zheng, then comnced camouflaging.

But there was no ti left—the gunfire had significantly quieted, and soone was moving in their direction.

A soldier in green camouflage military uniform appeared in their field of vision, running while shooting back at his pursuers.

Behind him ca the intense buzzing of a swarm of basketball-sized bumblebees, their wings vibrating as they charged like bombers.

The soldiers had never seen such creatures before and were paralyzed by fear.

The bumblebees, with their disgusting black ring patterns and tails tipped with a foot-long venomous sting, looked terrifying.

Rat-tat-tat, an eager soldier, disobeying orders, opened fire on the bumblebees with his rifle, the bullets piercing through them, oozing with thick body fluid, dismbering the creatures.

The bumblebees, now provoked, split off a faction to fly towards them.

“Save that man,” Tang Zheng lifted his Heavy Magnetostorm Rifle and fired a shot.

The blue orb flew out and exploded, sending electric currents coursing through the bumblebees, instantly electrocuting dozens of them which dropped like rain, leaving a gap in the swarm.

There were many bumblebees, and this loss was insignificant to them.

The native soldier couldn’t hold on until Tang Zheng and his team could co to the rescue.

Suddenly hearing gunshots, he glanced in their direction, failing to notice a tree branch underfoot, tripping him.

This delay allowed the bumblebees to swarm him.

The sting penetrated the soldier’s body without hindrance, injecting venom.

His body imdiately convulsed and then curled into a ball.

The other bumblebees sward over him, beginning to rip apart and devour his corpse.
