828: Chapter 4: A Turbulent Daily Life_2 828: Chapter 4: A Turbulent Daily Life_2 After lunch, having had his fill of fun at the amusent park, Lu Fan wanted to go to Tang Zheng’s ho but was refused.

“Your dad must be worried, so go ho.” After the morning’s bomb incident, the number of bodyguards increased to eight and they stayed even closer, which was the reason Little Lolita found it boring; she did not want to take so many tails on the street.

“No, going ho is just too boring, I’m the only one there.” Lu Fan pouted, hanging onto Tang Zheng like a koala and complaining, as she planned to stay with Tang Zheng these days.

“It’s the New Year, no one should be away from ho like this.” Tang Zheng frowned slightly, his tone growing firr as he showed anger to Little Lolita for the first ti.

Cheng Cheng tugged at Lu Fan, telling her not to argue anymore, but the warmth in the air was gone.

“I don’t want to play anymore, it’s no fun, I’m going ho.” Little Lolita was angry, and without a clear plan, she started to run off, trying to shake off Tang Zheng and the bodyguards.

Tang Zheng, feeling helpless, chased after her and spent a good while soothing her until Little Lolita finally broke into a smile through her tears.

“Okay, I’ve bothered you.” Lu Fan was actually very sensible; she knew her uncle had a private life and how could she cling to him every mont?

As evening approached, Tang Zheng waved goodbye, and Lu Fan stood there, watching his retreating figure, crouching on the ground, pausing for a long ti.

“Cheng Cheng, what do you think about marrying Uncle?

That way he could always be by my side.” Lu Fan lacked the warmth of a family, and her feelings for Tang Zheng were more like a father’s love.

“You’re too young.” Cheng Cheng shook her head, innocently saying, “You can’t get married, or big brother will be taken away by the police.”

The bodyguards watched the two Little Lolitas squatting on the ground, counting ants and discussing their personal affairs, feeling a mixture of amusent and pity.

Chen Hong bought a villa and, after informing Tang Zheng of the location over a phone call, she began shopping to create a cozy world for two.

Taking the bus, Tang Zheng reached the vicinity of Yucan Bridge to see a crowd surrounding and looking into the river below, with even the highway blocked.

Curious passengers on the bus stretched their necks to look, faintly hearing shouts about soone having fallen into the water and nobody going to rescue them.

The river wasn’t deep, only about seven or eight ters, but in the cold January wind, one could lose feeling in their limbs after being imrsed for more than a minute, and there was also the chance of being swept downstream.

“Stop the bus!” Tang Zheng shouted loudly, quickly taking off his coat and ripping off his thermal clothing.

“Young man, be careful,” the middle-aged driver, who could see that Tang Zheng intended to save soone, imdiately slowed down and opened the door.

Tang Zheng jumped down and sprinted towards the bridge, which was about thirty ters away.

“Where’s the person who fell in?

Where was the last place they were seen?” Tang Zheng asked, walking towards the crowd that was looking downstream, guessing that the person might have been swept away.

With no ti to take off his pants, he simply ripped them off.

The citizens on the bridge turned at the sound of Tang Zheng’s shout, only to see a young man bare-chested, in just his underwear, running towards them.

“Down there, about forty or fifty ters away,” a quick-reacting citizen shouted, pointing out the location to him.

Tang Zheng wasn’t paranoid of being asphyxiated, and wearing the snug Tyrannosaurus Protective Clothing every day was uncomfortable for him.

The first day he took it off, he encountered this accident, but given his physique, soaking for a dozen minutes wouldn’t be a problem.

Tang Zheng reached the edge of the bridge and dove in, plumting over twenty ters and splashing into the river, causing a large splash.

A chill imdiately struck him, the river water felt like needles of ice piercing his skin.

To save ti, Tang Zheng didn’t co up for air and swam forward like a migratory fish.

“Where is he?

He hasn’t frozen to death, has he?” The citizens, seeing Tang Zheng not resurfacing, panicked, fearing an accident had occurred.

But the next mont, they saw soone erge twenty ters away.

The river wasn’t frozen yet, but floating ice chunks were present, which hindered Tang Zheng’s sprint.

Before him, a warm-hearted man had jumped in as well but failed to reach the person in the water.

After swimming fifty ters, he was forced to climb back to the shore due to the cold, or he would have risked his own life.

Tang Zheng, floating in the water, couldn’t see the person who fell in.

If they had sunk, it would be hard to find them.

Fortunately, there were plenty of people on the bridge, and soone had spotted her, shouting to Tang Zheng.

“To your left.”

Guided by the hints, Tang Zheng swam over and soon saw the woman in her twenties.

After surfacing for one last ti and swallowing a few mouthfuls of river water, she sank down, clearly unable to hold on any longer.

The sting of the water pained his eyes, but Tang Zheng dared not close them.

He dived down and finally grabbed hold of the woman’s arm.

The woman was nearly unconscious from the cold.

Tang Zheng held her from behind and pulled her to the surface so she could breathe, then started swimming one-ard towards the riverbank.

Seeing Tang Zheng successfully rescue the woman, people on the bridge cheered and clapped, and so warm-hearted individuals began running towards the bank.

Tang Zheng dragged the woman onto the bank, spat out a mouthful of water, and without taking clothes from his wristwatch, began rescuing her shirtless.

If her clothes stayed wet, the low temperature would take her life, so he stripped everything off, but for privacy, Tang Zheng left her in her bra.

He then pressed against her chest and abdon, forcing her to expel all the river water she had ingested.
