302: Chapter 4: The Red Trojan Horse and the Start of the Mission_2 302: Chapter 4: The Red Trojan Horse and the Start of the Mission_2 Lu Fan was also aware of the severity of the situation.
She ran back to Tang Zheng’s side.
She initially intended to take Margaret hostage, but she thought about the room protection rule and gave up on that idea.
“Uncle, it seems that there are several Trojan rooms in a big continent.
The Superhero team was annihilated.
Logically, all of them should be newbies.” Lu Fan switched to speaking in Chinese, to avoid others overhearing their conversation.
“F.U.C.K, these newbies this ti are really aggressive, aren’t they, Maggie?
What’s going on?” Two-ter-tall muscle man, David, called out Maggie’s pet na and stared at Tang Zheng standing next to her.
He couldn’t help it.
David was too calm.
Anyone else would have been scared upon seeing them.
“Just so minor misunderstandings between them.” Maggie was still sowhat biased towards Tang Zheng, and also passed Danny’s package to him.
“Minor misunderstandings?
You call beating up two policen minor misunderstandings?
Oh, and this fool, Danny, he was also beaten up by you?” Leonard took out his silver desert eagle, cocked it, the tallic sound indicating a bullet was being chambered.
“It would be better for you not to aim your gun at Tang Zheng or you’ll be in for a rough ti.” Lu Fan gave a warning, then casually opened the bullet nest of the revolver gun, placed two golden bullets from her pocket into it.
“Really?” Leonard smirked as he was about to raise his gun to aim at Tang Zheng, but was blocked by David.
“You guys aren’t newbies, are you?” David noticed the red tight-fitting clothes under Tang Zheng’s collar.
“We are from another Trojan room in North Arica.
This ti, it appears we will be participating in the ga with you.” Tang Zheng changed the subject to prevent becoming a target.
“Leonard, you explain the rules to the newbies.
I’ll talk to them.” David looked Tang Zheng up and down and then asked, “A conqueror?”
“You guess.” Tang Zheng just nodded, “Made it through four gas.”
“This is my seventh one.” David let out a sigh of relief, it seed like he could still keep them in check ,”What about weapons and armor?”
“At least stronger than Danny and Maggie.” Tang Zheng looked at the last conqueror, “Not going to introduce him?”
“That’s Robert, our sniper.” David was quite straightforward, leaning against the wall, examining the newbies in the room, “a total of twenty-nine.
It’s good that there are less than thirty.
If there were more than thirty, the ga would be at difficulty level A!”
“Are there so rules to this?” Tang Zheng asked.
He wasn’t thinking about fighting for power.
His status ant no one would listen to him anyway.
He just needed to demonstrate his strength to make the captain reluctant to use him as cannon fodder.
“Didn’t you know?
The difficulty is D-level for less than fifteen, and then for every additional five, the difficulty goes up by one level.
Once it exceeds thirty, it becos S-grade, with a mortality rate close to 5%.” David took a breath, and laughed, “But the mortality rate isn’t particularly accurate, most of it depends on luck.
In all cases, the fewer the people, the better.”
“What’s the most difficult grade?” Tang Zheng thought about the previous ga, the more participants there were, the higher the mortality rate.
“I’m not sure because everyone who has ever been in such a ga, didn’t make it out alive.” David scratched his head and asked, “Is the Trojan in your previous room always this slow?
Every ti I wait, I’m annoyed.”
“No, it was much faster than this.
No ti is given for newbies to adapt, plus there’s a countdown.” Tang Zheng was also very anxious.
If Qin Yan and the others couldn’t make it, he didn’t know what trouble they might encounter.
“Captain, more people have co.” Maggie’s face was cast in despair; she smashed the wall frustratedly.
Three more people were teleported into the room, two high school girls, and a black man athlete wearing a Lakers jersey.
“Damn it.” David wails, covers his face, unable to bear the sight.
“Why can’t my wristwatch connect to the Trojan?” Tang Zheng didn’t care about the number of participants, he just wanted to check out the special items in the North Arican Trojan room.
Lu Fan was disappointed to see that it wasn’t Sister Qin Yan who had arrived.
After nearly twenty minutes, the tragic version of the International Song finally echoed in the middle of the room, and the black cube started to float.
“Toys, please with your lowly lives and sweet blood!” The usual lines didn’t change, but the chanical voice had changed to a female voice.
It was much quieter than that Silver Trojan guy, at least she didn’t mock the newbies.
“Are you also called Silver Trojan?” Lu Fan asked first, she had a lot of questions, “why did we enter this room, but our companions were not teleported?”
“I am the Red Trojan.
Under the rotation rules, the survivors of a certain Trojan Room will be dispersed to enter other rooms as reinforcents to participate in the ga.”
Upon hearing this explanation, David and the newbies reduced their hostility towards Tang Zheng and others.
Their attitude was no longer cold; it was enough for them that they weren’t enemies.
“These damn rules, what’s our benefit?
Teaming up with a bunch of unfamiliar people, without our well-coordinated teammates, reduces our survival rate by at least half,” Lu Fan began to complain.
“Your final points will be increased by one fifth, and you will enjoy a 10% discount when purchasing props in this room.” The Red Trojan dutifully explained, two red lights projected onto the wristwatches of Tang Zheng and Lu Fan, and the virtual screen instantly popped up.
Various props flickered like a ride on a carousel.
“Can I know which room Qin Yan and the others went to?” Tang Zheng guessed that Pang iqin might run into so trouble this ti.
“Sorry, I can only tell you that they are all in the sa room.”
“If I hit the newbies, will it deduct my points?” Tang Zheng pointed at the two unlucky guys.
Danny had woken up, and the policen were still unconscious.
“No points will be deducted for hitting reinforcents, but killing them will result in deductions.” The Red Trojan patiently answered all the questions and then announced the mission on the screen, “You will be teleported to the Cretaceous Period, complete four missions: One, each survivor must destroy three dinosaur teleportation platforms.
Two, each survivor must collect three Golden Horns.
Three, kill the Tyrant.
Four, finally return to the room from the spatial gate in New York.
Once all tasks are completed, the mission is completed.”
Along with the Red Trojan’s explanation, a row of hollow steel racks also rose from the cracked floor, full of weapons and thirty-two travel backpacks.
Each backpack had a protective suit on it, with nas of each survivor in the room labeled on them.
“Really?
We’re treated this well?” Lu Fan was envious, ran over and found her bag, “Uncle, you have one too.”
“Is that not the case with you guys?” David was puzzled, then he shouted, “Quickly grab your weapons and change clothes.
It’s about to start.”
“In our case, we could only choose one weapon and take three ammo clips.
The Silver Trojan even had a countdown.” Even Tang Zheng was jealous upon seeing the preferential treatnt of the Red Trojan Room.
“If it is in a bad mood, it doesn’t inform us about the mission.” Lu Fan, dragging two backpacks, walked over and said, “Red Trojan, why not just be the Trojan for our room?”
“Thank you for your complint, but each Trojan has its territory, crossing the border will result in obliteration!” The Red Trojan was not like the Silver Trojan, there was no sense of secrecy at all.
“So how many Trojans are there in total?” Tang Zheng was more interested in how to obliterate the Trojan’s consciousness, but the other party certainly wouldn’t say, “Who defines your territories?”
“Sorry, your authorization is insufficient, unable to query!” As expected, the Red Trojan wouldn’t easily answer, “The survival challenge ga starts in five minutes, please be ready.”
“Stop wasting ti, quickly check your equipnt.” Maggie didn’t mind the trouble and put on the gifted primary protective clothing.
The Red Trojan didn’t waste the countdown ti and continued to explain diligently.
“There is a map in your backpack, which will be your travel route.
It cos with instructions.
If you don’t understand, ask the Conquerors to spend points to query.
As for food and fresh water supply, please sort it out yourselves.” The Trojan didn’t seem exhausting to them; everyone listened attentively, “Lastly, no need to worry about breathing issues in the Cretaceous period.”
“Is this still the malicious Trojan?
This is more like a thoughtful nanny.” Lu Fan shed tears of relief.
Tang Zheng used the discount device, spent three hundred points, exchanged for two hundred thunderstorm magazine.
The rest of the bullets should be enough to deal with the situation.
Then he took off his sportswear, and started to put on the blue tight protective clothing.
“Countdown ends, teleportation begins, wish you all a pleasant journey!”
