217: Chapter 39: Death Battle 217: Chapter 39: Death Battle Zhang Yifeng’s head was picked up by the monster and hung around its waist.

Because the monster was invisible, all they could see was a bloodstained head swinging left and right mid-air.

The fierce expression of wide-open eyes added a cruel colour of death perating through the entire subway station!

Seeing the corpses of aliens and humans were two entirely different concepts.

Liu Nai bent over, vomiting a mouthful of filth.

The re thought of the man that was just standing next to her now lying headless in a pool of blood made her body shudder uncontrollably.

Her knuckles, tightly gripping Tang Zheng’s arm, were turning even paler.

“Isn’t this just a ga?” For the past few days, Liu Nai had considered this as just a standalone first-person shooter ga, there was a sense of unrealism in her heart.

But now, she wished the ga would imdiately end.

“Yes, it’s just a terrifying ga where players can also die.” Tang Zheng’s tone was detached, he couldn’t afford the luxury of grieving.

The priority was figuring out how to survive.

Since the monster had its prey’s skull with it, it knew the invisibility effect was ineffective.

It hence revealed its form.

Standing at two and a half ters, strong and muscular, it looked like a humanoid tank.

It was similar to a human in form, yet possessed beast-like characteristics.

Sharp claws, beast feet, wheat-colored skin, and constant growls emitting from its throat.

It wore a grey-brown armor, its entire body covered in black wires.

Huge head adorned with multiple braids, although it wore a seemingly ordinary mask, Tang Zheng and his team recognized their monster’s origin.

They even knew that under the mask lay a horrifying flower-like beast’s teeth.

“As expected, it’s an Ironblood Warrior!” Looking at the Ironblood warrior’s attire, full of Indian native style, Tie Ying had a bitter look on his face.

These creatures, capable of hunting aliens at will, saw the earth as their hunting ground, treating it as if it were unoccupied.

“Bloodthirsty and brutal, lacking a semblance of humanity.

They pride in killing enemies and peeling off their skin.

They love to collect skulls.

God damn it, Silver Trojan really gave us a terrific ‘gift’.” Tang Zheng’s face also fell.

He dreaded their terrifying killing ability, “When I played the ga Alien vs Ironblood Warrior, I enjoyed it.

Is this now retribution?”

“Why isn’t it attacking?” Liu Nai’s face was filled with questions and worries.

She couldn’t bear the pressure of these standoffs, her heavy breathing was killing her.

In just a mont, sweat had soaked through her V-neck white T-shirt, clinging tightly to her body and revealing the silhouette of her underwear.

“Maybe it’s waiting for us to flee, then hunt, considering that we’re at a disadvantage.” Tie Ying didn’t dare to attack rashly, while Tang Zheng was devising a counter-strategy.

Bai Guo tried to approach Tang Zheng, but was fixated by the Ironblood Warrior after just two steps, which scared her on the spot.

“Are we going to die too?

I’ve never been in a relationship!” Liu Nai unexpectedly blurted this out.

She realised that if she continued to remain silent, she would go insane.

“Don’t worry, I’ll get you ho.” As Tang Zheng examined the Ironblood Warrior, pondering their habits revealed through movies and gas, he heard Liu Nai’s words.

Suddenly he lowered his head and his lips t hers.

Liu Nai was startled, but didn’t back away.

“I thought you would slap .” Tang Zheng gave a bitter smile, the outco was sowhat unexpected.

“You want to get angry, right?

Relax, I’m not that weak.

I will survive.” After Liu Nai finished talking, she ripped off the cloth wrapping the samurai sword and gripped the hilt, pulling it out.

Her firm expression certainly boosted morale, but it was soon suppressed.

“Now I finally know what it’s waiting for.” Even the emotionally tough Tie Ying was close to giving up, he helplessly pointed around.

Two more Ironblood Warriors were rushing up the stairs, and two others were climbing up from the tunnel, effectively blocking their last route of escape.

These arrogant and confident beasts, thinking Tang Zheng’s group were no different from dead ants, didn’t even bother to be invisible anymore.

“Attack!” Tang Zheng, lifting the muzzle of his gun, fiercely bombed the Ironblood Warrior in front of him.

He knew he couldn’t wait any longer.

If they were encircled by the enemy, there would be no chance of winning.

A few laser cannons were also fired over.

With a loud blast, the one in front evaded while throwing a six-clawed dart at Tang Zheng.

As Tang Zheng dodged the flying disk and kept firing, Tie Ying’s MP5 also spewed out flas.

Sensing their looming death, their attacks beca more ferocious, with a wild style similar to those resolved to die together.

Whoosh, the Ironblood Warrior pulled out a steel whip and swung it at Tie Ying, hitting him across the back and leaving him rolling in pain with opened flesh wounds.

Almost imdiately, it swung at Tang Zheng, twisting around his left arm and yanking him forward at a rapid speed.

With a sharp tallic ring, a wrist blade sprang out from its right hand and lunged at Tang Zheng.

“Fuck, die!” Tang Zheng cursed, knowing that at this speed, his rifle would barely be positioned before his stomach got pierced.

Without further hesitation and within a five-ter range, he activated Gravity Suppression.

As expected, the Ironblood Warrior’s strike slowed down considerably.

Had it been a human, he would not even have been able to lift his arm.

Tang Zheng barely dodged the attack and, with a swift kick to its tallic mask, he pushed himself back.

His rifle aligned just right, he firmly pulled the trigger.

Zap, bang, a Thunderball slamd into half of the Ironblood Warrior’s face, detonating upon impact.

Its head exploded instantly, a distorted mask spinning out and crashing to the floor, splattering blood on Tang Zheng’s face to his disgust.

No one was ecstatic about this victory, as the other four Ironblood Warriors charged, constantly firing their red laser cannons.

“Follow .” Tang Zheng felt conflicted.

It would be extrely difficult to escape with Liu Nai, as he was already struggling to hold his own.

If they were intercepted, he wouldn’t be able to protect her.

Of course, if he left Bai Guo here as bait, their survival rate would increase to at least eighty percent.

Even if he abandoned Tie Ying, it would still rise to fifty percent.

But Tang Zheng could not bring himself to do it.

“Brother Tang, your bronze sword.” Bai Guo didn’t abandon Tang Zheng’s backpack even while fleeing.

Tang Zheng’s heart ached at the sight, and he beca even more determined to rescue them both, regardless of potential damage to himself.

“We’ve got four minutes.

The best case scenario would be to take out three of them,” Tang Zheng crouched down, tensed his legs, aiming for two Ironblood Warriors twenty ters ahead of him, and then ordered, “Bai Guo, Tie Ying, hold on for two minutes.”

Tie Ying snatched the F-GUN from Bai Guo.

The weapon would be more powerful in his hands.

Bai Guo didn’t complain, but beca enlightened in that mont, starting to throw hand grenades.

She pulled the pin and hurled them out, throwing around twenty of them in a few seconds.

Following, the subway station resounded with detonation after detonation, filling the air with orange-red flas and thick black smoke.

Upon witnessing the power of the F-GUN, the Ironblood Warriors attempted to turn invisible again.

However, the exploding debris knocked them off their paths, leaving them with nowhere to hide.

Tie Ying fired ceaselessly, effectively blocking the Ironblood Warriors’ escape routes and limiting their evasion range.

Tang Zheng lunged forward, activating Gravity Suppression once more.

The two Ironblood Warriors pulled out spears and prepared to spear Tang Zheng, but their movents slowed drastically because of it.

He wanted to pull the trigger, but a beam from the laser cannon on the warrior’s shoulder struck his Thunderstorm rifle.

The rifle was not damaged, but the impact knocked it from his hands.

“Damn, these things are tough.” Tang Zheng drew his bronze sword, swiftly dodged the incoming red beam, and rushed forward, thrusting his sword towards the bottom of the Ironblood Warrior’s throat.

Tang Zheng knew that if he succeeded, he might risk losing his weapon.

But there was no other option.

If he rely cut its body and didn’t kill it, what other chances would he have?

Opportunities like this were hard-earned and ca at the cost of risking his life.

Zap, the razor-sharp Level A prop easily sliced through the iron, penetrating the Ironblood Warrior’s chest, burying to its hilt.

The impact of the strike knocked the enemy back, but in its dying monts, it managed to stab its wrist blade into Tang Zheng’s side.

While the blade did not pierce through the Firefly Protective Clothing, the imnse impact sent Tang Zheng sprawling.

After five ters, the Gravity Suppression instantaneously deactivated.

The free Ironblood Warrior retaliated with a fierce bombardnt of laser cannon fire and six-claw darts.

Tang Zheng was forced to retreat, having lost his close-ranged combat advantage, but managed to recover his Thunderstorm rifle nonetheless.

“Three minutes left,” Tang Zheng said, short of breath.

If not for his endurance, he would’ve long been worn out from this exchange with the Ironblood Warriors.

However, the situation was increasingly turning against him.

Without Gravity Suppression, Tang Zheng lost his advantage; after all, these monsters were naturally stronger and more agile than humans.

In the anti, Tie Ying had finally reaped the fruits of his labor.

The F-GUN hit one of the Ironblood Warriors on the left side of its body.

It turned into a fireball, quickly spreading across its entire body.

The hand grenades compounded the damage, effectively taking its life.

Regardless, good fortune did not last long for both him and Bai Guo.

“We’re out of ammo!” Upon noticing that Tie Ying was still futilely firing at the remaining Ironblood Warrior, Bai Guo quickly called out.

Liu Nai’s M4A1 was already emptied and abandoned, leaving her only with her Tachi, useless at a distance.

“Give so ammo.” Tie Ying froze for a mont, then began to curse.

Not being able to see the physical bullets was an advantage for stealthy attacks, but it made it hard to keep track of the remaining ammo as well, which led to this awkward situation.

But Tie Ying didn’t have ti to be embarrassed as without bullets, he could potentially lose his life.

“Take cover!” Bai Guo had just pulled out a clip and was about to hand it over when she heard Tie Ying’s frantic yell.

She turned to see a six-claw dart coming right at her.

She narrowly dodged it, but just getting a glance of the dart whizzing by her head and feeling the cold, sharp sensation it emanated sent chills down her spine.
