Capítulo 1755: Chapter 70: Casualties
The female anchor didn’t dodge, pursed her lips, swallowed a mouthful of blood, and used the force of the strike to rush behind Li ilian.
Li ilian wanted to escape, but the female anchor’s electromagnetic force pulled her body back like a magnet.
“Get off !” Li ilian shouted, no longer caring about her appearance, and initiated a transformation.
Her muscles swelled, tearing through the protective clothing, and her body rose to three ters. The once beautiful Li ilian instantly turned into a green-skinned beastman.
Whoosh, Li ilian’s thick arm swung like a siege hamr towards Ruan Feifei.
The female anchor’s eyes focused, she didn’t back down. Her left hand discharged electricity, deflecting her arm, while her right hand slapped her on the chest.
Zzzz, zzzz.
The female anchor’s heart beat like a perpetual motion machine, emitting currents of one million volts, engulfing Li ilian.
On the dim long street at dusk, the current surged like a blue cocoon, enveloping Li ilian. A breeze blew by, carrying a burnt odor.
“The opportunity!” Yu Manli suddenly halted, took out a heavy rifle, and fired at the female anchor.
The particle beam shattered the electric arc, creating holes, then grazed the female anchor’s body.
Li ilian had died in the endless slaughter, so she was granted the ability to beastify, which could enhance attack and defense, though it looked too ugly, she didn’t want to use it. However, in the mont of life and death, she ultimately beastified.
Roar, Li ilian’s throat roared with a coarse cry, trying to retaliate but couldn’t hit the female anchor. Instead, her body under the super high voltage, continuously evaporated water, withered, and charred.
To kill Li ilian, the female anchor stood in place for too long. Yu Manli and Li Huiwen, no matter how stupid, could still hit her under the indiscriminate beam attacks.
Ruan Feifei’s arm was hit, directly vaporized, Xu Liangmao appeared beside her and delivered a heavy kick to her head.
Bam, the female anchor rolled away like a broken sack.
Yu Manli caught up, slashing with a curved knife, Ruan Feifei didn’t dodge in ti, leaving her with a deep bone-revealing wound, blood spraying.
Li Huiwen activated the furious Asura, tearing through the electric net, appeared beside the female anchor, grabbed the flesh, and tore off a large piece.
Ruan Feifei released electric migratory fish, staggered for a few steps, only to find her path blocked by Xu Liangmao.
The three of them, including Yu Manli, were all from close combat series, with excellent physical prowess, the female anchor couldn’t escape at all.
“Die!” Seeing Ruan Feifei heavily injured, Li Huiwen burst out, grabbing her long hair from behind, giving it a hard pull, then swinging her to the ground.
The female anchor scread in pain, just climbed up, Yu Manli arrived, punched her chest, breaking her ribs.
Swoosh, Li Huiwen ford her fingers into a knife, stabbed it into the female anchor’s back, and stirred vigorously.
“Let’s die together!” Ruan Feifei reached out and grabbed onto Yu Manli, looking at her, revealing a smile, she had planted a mini nuclear bomb in her heart, just to perish together with the enemy upon death.
“Not good, retreat quickly.” Yu Manli exclaid, grabbing Ruan Feifei and throwing her out fiercely.
The dying female anchor’s strength was no match for Yu Manli, she was easily shaken off.
Boom, the Ruan Feifei thrown into mid-air exploded, a glaring ‘sun’ suddenly brightened, the shock wave swept around, flattening buildings within a five-kiloter radius, leaving a big pit.
“Cough cough, this bitch actually played dirty.” Li Huiwen crawled out from the ruins, in a sorry state, injured in multiple places, coughing blood.
“Careless, didn’t expect her to go this far.” Yu Manli wasn’t feeling well either, panting heavily, taking out a potion to treat herself, “Luckily, the Trojans gave us plenty of luxury equipnt and potions, otherwise, we’d really be dead.”
Xu Liangmao saw that even the bone fragnts of the female anchor were gone, feeling mixed emotions, once upon a ti, she was such a selfish woman, yet in the end, she was willing to sacrifice herself for the Warhamr Squad.
“Anyway, she’s finally dead, so we got fifty percent survival qualification. Next, we hunt down other targets.” Li Huiwen licked her lips, asking Yu Manli, “Who’s the weakest in the Warhamr Squad?”
“Xu Biyun, Tao Ran, Gu Xueqi, these people can all be killed.” Yu Manli reported a few nas, “Ai Yixin isn’t strong either.”
Their strengths, these people resurrected by the Trojans, were determined by their assassination targets. If they pursued Tao Ran, it ant Level 1 Hero, if they killed Li Xinlan, then Level 2 Hero, of course, the highest was early Level 3 Hero.
“Then let’s choose Xu Biyun, she’s a small fry.” Li Huiwen didn’t even bother asking for Xu Liangmao’s opinion.
“No, she’s too weak, causing our strength to weaken as well. This world, might even have a beastman-ford Trojan Squad, what would we do if we encountered them?” Yu Manli refused.
“How about choosing Lu Fan?” Li Huiwen rembered that little loli.
“You think you aren’t dying fast enough? I’d rather face Li Xinlan and the Old Soldier than that little one.” Yu Manli rolled her eyes, “She may look small, but her wit and strength surpass you by ten streets.”
“Ha, then who do you suggest we choose? It can’t be Tang Zheng, right?” Li Huiwen mocked, “The main force of the Warhamr team is very strong, we can’t beat them.”
“Choose Bai Guo, he’s an idiot, easiest to kill, and he’s a Hero rank, so we don’t lose too many levels.” Yu Manli made the final decision, because once they kill the mission target, they can leave the independent zone and won’t have to kill a second target within a limited ti.
“Trojan, second target, Bai Guo.” Li Huiwen finished reporting and glared at the miserable guy, “If you’re so slack again next ti, I won’t let it go.”
“Old Xu, think about your daughter at ho, without parents, raised by relatives, will she be abused?” Yu Manli knew the miserable guy’s weakness, constantly brainwashing him, telling him about the tragic situation his daughter might face.
“Who’s really scheming against ?” Tang Zheng stayed in a civilian house, collecting beastman urban intelligence via the internet.
This was already the third stronghold, but after hiding for less than five minutes, the police ca, and this ti they brought five tanks and two hundred fully ard beastman soldiers.
Tang Zheng had done his best but still couldn’t shake off the enemies, indicating that the opponent must have so advanced tracking thod to locate him.
“The explosion site must be where so group mber is fighting!” Tang Zheng was about to escape, but after seeing the nuclear explosion, his heart sank, and he changed his mind.
He took out the AT-4, shouldered it, and fired a shot at the tanks surrounding the Main Street.
Bang, the tank was destroyed, and the beastman soldiers were startled, no longer caring about civilian safety, and began firepower suppression on the civilian house where Tang Zheng was hiding.
This was a crush without suspense; in just twenty seconds, the long street was left with only debris and corpses.
“Co out!” Tang Zheng left one tank intact, stood on top of it, and kicked the turret.
Seeing the dark rocket launcher aid at the lookout port, the beastman soldiers tried to remotely control the vehicle-mounted machine gun to shoot Tang Zheng, but he kicked and bent the gun barrel, leaving them no choice but to open the turret and crawl out.
“We are beastn, superior citizens, we have the right to demand the highest level of POW treatnt.” The two beastn completely took on the posture of captives yet continued to clamor.
Tang Zheng’s answer was simple, he aid the rocket launcher at them and pulled the trigger.
Bang, the beastn were blown apart, burning at chunks flying everywhere, scattering all over.
“I know you’re hiding nearby, listen carefully, if you think you can use native beastn to consu my combat power, dream on!” After killing a few beastman soldiers, Tang Zheng raised his right hand, showed them the middle finger, and jumped into the tank.
Having purchased the driving specialization, Tang Zheng’s hands on the steering wheel began seamlessly absorbing the tank’s operating thod into his brain.
Rumble, the tank started, and Tang Zheng began wind-rushing and lightning-speed movents.
“What should we do? Tang Zheng is too strong; no matter how many beastn co, it’s useless.” Cao Rongxuan bit his teeth with jealousy and frustration.
“We can’t just go out and fight, right? Even though we’re third-order Heroes, we’re not enough to wedge tooth seam for Tang Zheng.” Zhao Dongtao muttered, “Let that impostor figure sothing out.”
Song Xin hesitated, wanting to et Tang Zheng and share the news here with him.
“Song Xin, I know you like Tang Zheng, but don’t act rashly, this concerns everyone’s lives!” Jing Lan held her friend’s hand, her face full of worry.
“If Tang Zheng knows his enemy is his forr classmate, with his kind-hearted nature, who knows how conflicted he’d be?” The impostor Tang Zheng squatted on the building rooftop, watching the battlefield, a teasing smile creeping from his lips.
The pedestrians on the street were scared by this rampaging tank, hurriedly dodging, while Tang Zheng radiated in circles from the center of the independent zone, carpet-searching for target beastn.
Beep, beep, five minutes later, the virtual screen lit up with a red dot, the first target found.
The red dot moved at a constant speed; after a few seconds, Tang Zheng confird the guy was sitting inside a private car.
He shifted gears, accelerated, then the drivers on the highway saw a tank spewing thick black smoke like a fierce steel monster surging out from a side road.
Tang Zheng drifted and chased the target beastman.
One driver, narrowly escaping the near hundred-ton tank scraping beside his car, left tracks on the road surface, almost losing his composure; if the opponent slipped up, he’d just beco a pile of scrap tal.
Tang Zheng speeded wildly, without machine gun strafing, the cars in front seeing the tank from rearview mirrors began dodging to both sides.
“Destroy it!” Tang Zheng summoned a female musketeer, Sophie, who sat in the gun bay, the turret lowered, aiming at the target car three hundred ters away.
Bang, the muzzle sprayed a ball of red light, the shell spinning into the car’s tail, boom, the car blew into the sky, turning into a burning fireball.
The tank drove past, Tang Zheng happened to see the car wreckage falling from high altitude to the highway, parts flying all over.
“Target cleared!”
The wristwatch’s red dot disappeared, and a clear prompt sounded.
When Pang iqin chopped off the first target beastman’s head in an alley, a few uninvited guests appeared, blocking the path. (To be continued.
