Chapter 1699: Chapter 15: Bursting Through
After twenty deadly survival gas, Tang Zheng’s combat style had gradually taken shape: using the Gravity Abyss to suppress, the female musketeer feigns attacks and harassnt, then leveraging the war general as a at shield to launch ambushes from behind.
Not to ntion Tang Zheng’s physique, which had grown incredibly robust after fusing various rare props—the perfected Furious Queen alone was already enough to exhaust his enemies.
With his powerful crowd-control abilities, Tang Zheng easily managed the battlefield. In less than twenty minutes, he’d taken out twelve minor opponents, injuring nurous others.
Rather than aimlessly running and clashing, Tang Zheng retreated strategically toward one of the maze exits. Not only could he leave at any ti, but he’d also positioned himself along the survivor’s inevitable path, allowing him complete control over his choice of targets.
“Two more kills, then I’m out!” Tang Zheng was gauging the ti and estimating the incoming numbers when he stepped out of the door—only to find Shen Qingshuang, bruised and battered, covered in blood.
The chanical man was crawling on the ground, being ruthlessly beaten by a black-skinned South Arican. His chest was partially caved in, with several ribs clearly fractured.
“Idiot! I wasn’t wrong—it’s this way!” Shen Qingshuang roared furiously, releasing a chanical puppet to attack the South Arican. He couldn’t tolerate this abuse any longer and would rather die fighting.
“Overestimating yourself.” The South Arican smashed the puppet with a single punch, then delivered a kick to Shen Qingshuang’s cheek.
The chanical man’s two arms were mangled, hanging lifelessly at his sides, leaving him defenseless.
Without a word, Tang Zheng surged forward under the White Dwarf Star’s radiated gravity field, hurtling straight for the South Arican. He didn’t even glance at Shen Qingshuang, worried the South Arican might realize their connection and kill him outright.
The Hero-Level South Arican, massive and brawny at over two ters tall, resembled a King Kong gorilla. His terrifying instincts kicked in almost imdiately upon Tang Zheng’s appearance; he grabbed Shen Qingshuang, using him as a at shield to lunge toward Tang Zheng.
“Damn it!” Tang Zheng was forced to abandon the gravity gun pierce, unable to use gravity reversal or black hole due to the opponent’s sheer speed.
Whoosh—the South Arican streaked like a shadow, instantly breaking the sound barrier and appearing behind Tang Zheng, his fist swinging toward Tang Zheng’s head.
There wasn’t enough ti for Tang Zheng to turn and block—he barely raised his arm as the South Arican’s heavy punch slamd in.
Bam—Tang Zheng was sent flying, crashing hard into the wall, feeling as if his bones were fractured in the impact.
“Hm? You can actually keep up with my speed?” The South Arican, a Beastification System user who had consud the Heart of the Beast, was at peak physical prowess. With bare hands, he could slaughter ordinary second-order Heroes, rip apart gravitational fields, and even crush light beams in his second liberation state.
As the South Arican swiped his hand, the space in front of him shattered like broken glass, forming cracks.
Tang Zheng dodged to the side, the wall next to him sliced by spatial cuts, leaving fissures.
“Hm? You’re looking down on ?” After so many brutal fights, achieving peak Hero-Level ant the South Arican was no fool. He keenly sensed his opponent’s strength but found it baffling that the opponent was holding back. “Wait—could it be he’s concerned about my at shield?”
In the South Arican’s mind, a at shield was destined to die first, yet his foe’s attacks had avoided injuring it.
“Haha, I understand now. You two know each other!” The South Arican seized Shen Qingshuang’s arm and fiercely tore it off.
The female newbie covered her mouth, screaming.
“I knew we’d be discovered!” Shen Qingshuang gritted his teeth, his face filled with helplessness. He couldn’t bla Tang Zheng—during fights between unfamiliar strong opponents, how could anyone care about soone like him, a minor player?
“We don’t know how many more battles lie ahead in this ga. If we keep fighting here, it will only benefit those seeds. Release him and let’s call a truce, what do you say?” Tang Zheng proposed.
Hearing this, Shen Qingshuang’s expression turned awkward, filled with self-loathing. Tang Zheng, whose pride was as strong as steel, had never begged anyone before—but today, for him, he broke precedent.
“Fine!” The South Arican replied seemingly agreeably, but suddenly reached out, ripped off Shen Qingshuang’s other arm, and threw it to the ground.
Thick, viscous blood spilled onto the floor, yet Shen Qingshuang gritted his teeth, refusing to make a sound.
“You want to fight to the death?” Tang Zheng was enraged but restrained himself.
“Those seeds an nothing—I’ll kill them all myself!” The South Arican scoffed, full of contempt. As a jungle native, his favorite pasti was hunting the strong, watching his prey writhe and scream in misery until their demise.
Tang Zheng clenched his fists tightly as several Conquerors entered the passage. Seeing the confrontation, they froze, then prepared to leave.
“Kill them, or I’ll slaughter him!” The South Arican threatened, knowing he could drain Tang Zheng’s life energy by utilizing those people.
“Tang Zheng, leave. Save your strength for the battles ahead,” Shen Qingshuang’s face showed resolve as he shouted hoarsely. “I knew this day would co—I’ve long prepared myself for death. Tang Zheng, make sure you clear the Holy Land and live well!”
Almost imdiately after these words, Shen Qingshuang self-destructed. Scorching flas rolled forth, flooding the passage with turbulent shock waves.
The female newbie’s luck ran out—engulfed by high-temperature flas, she was burned to ashes, leaving no corpse behind.
Several unlucky intruders to the battlefield were also caught in the blast, killing three on the spot. Only two tily activated their defensive Hero-Level abilities.
Tang Zheng’s Gravity Abyss repelled the flas, keeping him unscathed. The South Arican, being too close, suffered the brunt of the explosion.
“How could this minor player’s self-destruction have such massive power?!” The South Arican, his face scorched black and his skin burned, scread in fury. His hair was ablaze, turning him into a living torch.
Knowing his limited strength as a calculating man, Shen Qingshuang exploited his death to maximize gains. He had purchased a self-destruction bomb, modified it using his abilities, and embedded it in his heart.
“Bastard—die!” Tang Zheng, consud by rage, teleported directly in front of the South Arican and activated Violent Mode and Magic Sword Release.
The South Arican, finally sensing pressure, tried to dodge but was suppressed by the gravity field, his movents slowed by a fraction of a mont.
Bam—Tang Zheng’s fist slamd into the South Arican’s face, sending him flying.
Having been injured by the explosion, the South Arican had lost twenty percent of his strength. Most crucially, Shen Qingshuang had desperately shifted the explosion’s energy toward the South Arican’s legs, hindering his proud speed.
Though his speed was only marginally affected, that slight reduction gave Tang Zheng, a seasoned fighter, a huge advantage.
With the White Dwarf Star fully activated and Gravity Sedintation unleashed, the surrounding tal passage twisted under the imnse pressure, emitting eerie creaks.
The South Arican’s pace slowed further as he furiously unleashed double punches, tearing space apart, sending bursts of energy spheres flying.
Boom, boom—the energy spheres collided with the gravity field, triggering violent explosions.
“Die!” The South Arican beastified, transforming into a humanoid dinosaur. His claws moved so fast they sparked flas from the air friction.
Bam, bam, bam—their punches collided heavily, creating sonic booms and relentless shock waves.
The female musketeer appeared to snipe, but her bullets barely scratched the South Arican’s skin—the guy’s defense was eerily durable.
Tang Zheng poured all his energy into the White Dwarf Star and the war-general armor. In this fight, he was at a partial disadvantage since the South Arican was a pure brute-force attacker.
The two surviving Hero-Level spectators stood dumbfounded at the peak-level battle unfolding before them. Comparing their own abilities, they realized Tang Zheng could crush them both in re two minutes.
They had entered the Holy Land full of ambition to gain a chance to fulfill any desire, but witnessing this scene, their confidence crumbled, leaving them deeply regretful.
“What? He’s actually holding his ground?” The South Arican was visibly shocked, watching Tang Zheng fight unyieldingly. It was a blow to his pride—he considered himself the unmatched Beastification System fighter of the lee domain, yet he was now being matched by soone from another system.
“FU~CK, die!” The South Arican seized an opening, pulling out a pill and attempting to swallow it.
“Decree: Field Magnification!”
“Decree: Attack Amplification!”
Tang Zheng went full firepower, channeling gravity to neutralize the South Arican’s hand and the pill—rendering the attempt futile.
“Second Liberation!”
With Tang Zheng activating his ultimate move, the Undamaged Lake Light transford into a radiant stream, enveloping him, forming armor.
Boom—a clash of fists resulted in the sickening sound of bones breaking, with the South Arican’s fingers twisting unnaturally under Tang Zheng’s overwhelming force.
Hack—due to the Decree’s backlash, Tang Zheng spit out blood, but the tide of the fight had finally turned in his favor.
“Decree: God’s Punishnt!”
The glow of Tang Zheng’s gauntlet turned into sharp blades. In their next collision, the blade pierced through the South Arican’s fist.
“Ah!” The South Arican scread in agony as the invincible God’s Punishnt sliced through his hand, then shot forward, blasting his chest.
The South Arican’s torso was left mangled, his combat power diminished further, forcing him into retreat to recover.
Tang Zheng pursued relentlessly, refusing to let up.
“Truce, or I’ll take you down with !” The South Arican, now afraid, issued an empty threat.
Unfazed, Tang Zheng’s offensive remained unwavering.
“All this for a nobody who wasn’t even Hero-Level—is it worth it to go all-out and risk injury? You’re expending so much energy and suffering wounds—it’ll hurt you in future battles,” the South Arican argued, his upper arm bleeding profusely. Each ti he relied on his powerful regenerative abilities to stop the blood, Tang Zheng imdiately reopened the wounds.
“All I want now is to watch you die!” Tang Zheng snarled, landing a powerful punch that sent the South Arican flying, tumbling dozens of ters and leaving a trail of blood behind.
Whoosh—Tang Zheng closed the gap in the blink of an eye, launching another ferocious round of attacks.
“Run—get out of here, or you’ll get caught in the crossfire!” The two Hero-Level survivors, shaken out of their stupor, turned tail and fled.
One glanced back as he rounded the corner, just in ti to see Tang Zheng reduce the South Arican’s head to a rotten waterlon—a splattered ss of brain pulp and broken flesh.
A temporary team entering the passage happened upon the scene, freezing in shock, collectively stopping in their tracks!
