The space outside the secret room was a round organic material passage, with a radius of approximately two ters. It had no connecting openings and was seamless throughout, resembling so sort of animal’s esophagus.
Darkness lay ahead, and every fifty ters, lighting facilities would automatically turn on.
The female newbies ran for a stretch, venting their emotions, and finally stopped as they looked at the pitch-black passage ahead.
"Brother Tang!" One of the won turned her head and shouted at Tang Zheng.
Earlier in the secret room, the Conquerors had introduced themselves, and it seed this female newbie had been attentive enough to rember their identities.
"I just killed one of your compatriots. Aren’t you afraid?" Tang Zheng kicked at the ground, surveyed his surroundings briefly, and then began moving forward.
The female newbie responded in fluent Osaka dialect, making it impossible for Tang Zheng to mistakenly think her nationality was anything else.
"You also saved !" The female newbie’s reply was remarkably tactful. Saying she wasn’t afraid was an obvious lie, but in their current situation, survival ant she had to establish good relations with him.
"Let’s move!" Tang Zheng didn’t rush forward. Instead, he used this ti to ponder the challenges they might face next and how to counter them.
"Who locked us in here?" The Japanese newbie didn’t get an answer, as an announcent interrupted Tang Zheng’s words.
"Attention, all-frequency announcent: First round of Holy Land War, escape room ga, Warhamr Team’s Tang Zheng has completed the first perfect clearance!"
"Reward: 5,000 points and one roulette spin opportunity!"
The cold chanical voice echoed through the passage, reverberating far into the distance.
Although it was a comndation, Tang Zheng would rather have gone without. This imdiately made him a pri target; if people didn’t exhaust every effort to dig up his intel, they must be blind. It would directly increase the difficulty of his future gas.
Tang Zheng grumbled, but everyone else was practically dying of jealousy.
"Damn it, Tang Zheng again!" Yan Chiyang was sprinting through the passage, unaffected by the chanical puppets attacking him. Every single one was burned to ashes.
Hearing the announcent, his face darkened dramatically, and fury amplified his strikes.
"Good, if you’re too weak, there’s no thrill in killing you." Di Jingfei’s tone carried a sinister edge, but he quickly regained his composure, stepped out of the passage, and his pupils suddenly constricted sharply.
"Tsk, I’m one step ahead of you!" The War King stood in the lobby, staring at six doorways, hesitating over his choice.
"Hmph!" Di Jingfei didn’t respond and walked directly into the first door on the right. He didn’t want to spend another second with that Old Maozi.
"That guy’s getting stronger again!" Vasily glanced at an empty spot where Di Jingfei’s summoned beast had lingered.
So people had escaped the secret room faster than Tang Zheng, but unfortunately for them, they hadn’t achieved perfect clearance, which ant they wouldn’t trigger an all-frequency announcent.
"It has to be Brother Tang! Incredible!" Bai Guo was hugging her knees in a corner of the secret room. When she suddenly heard the announcent, her eyes lit up instantly, but her expression quickly turned frustrated.
"Why does it have to be a brain-teaser ga? I’m so stupid; I’m dood." Bai Guo looked at the corpses strewn across the floor and the tightly sealed main entrance. No sooner had she tried to encourage herself to persevere than she was hit by an electric current.
The group made another mistake and was now in a frantic hurry.
"So there’s sothing called perfect clearance. Looks like the last ten percent of the progress bar required precise kills!" Gu Xueqi frowned slightly, carefully recalling every step, and realized she hadn’t missed any clues. The only remaining possibility was intentional killing.
"Tang Zheng? That’s your group leader, right?" Several n and won tried to chat with Gu Xueqi. They had relied entirely on Gu Xiaohua to escape and were practically worshiping her IQ.
"Focus on the combat!" Since they hadn’t achieved perfect clearance, Gu Xueqi’s group had been ambushed by chanical puppets. Thanks to her healing system ability, she still held so authority in their group.
"Tsk, still can’t match him!" Shen Qingshuang sighed after traversing half the passage. He glanced at his right side, where there was a gunshot wound.
If he hadn’t demonstrated remarkable deductive reasoning, that Third-order South Arican would’ve already blown him to bits.
"I can’t stay here; I need to escape quickly. He’s keeping around because he thinks he can crush at any mont and use to crack the next obstacles." Despite the colossal gap in power, Shen Qingshuang refused to feel discouraged.
"Uncle is aweso!" Lu Fan grinned widely as two sand shields spun around her, deflecting attacks. Thanks to Uncle’s protection, the Little Lolita successfully escaped her predicant.
"Attention, all-frequency announcent: First round of Holy Land War, escape room ga, Warhamr Team’s Dantai Zongqi has completed the second perfect clearance!"
"Reward: 4,500 points and one roulette spin opportunity!"
A second Silver Trojan announcent echoed throughout the ga, causing a furor among all survivors, who began asking about the Warhamr Team’s background.
"What? That team with the second-largest numbers after Moscow’s ’No Tears’ group?"
"The guy earlier, Tang Zheng, is their group leader and also an infamous goody-goody!"
"The first-round newbie score record holder is Tang Zheng, by the way. Oh, and all top three scorers belong to the Warhamr Team."
"That’s amazing. Getting high marks in the newbie battle takes more than just luck; it requires overwhelming strength. Not even the seven Seeds have achieved this honor!"
The survivors were so absorbed in discussing the Warhamr Team that they montarily forgot their strategies. Just as they cald down and refocused on the gaplay, the third announcent rang out.
"Attention, all-frequency announcent: First round of Holy Land War, escape room ga, Zhuo Lie Team’s Zi Xin has completed the third perfect clearance!"
