Lu Fan took advantage of the night, rushed back ho, had the maid prepare ketchup, then imdiately lay on the bed pretending to play dead.

The maid, experienced in handling such antics, commanded her colleague to sar Lu Fan’s face with ketchup while dialing the boss’s number to report.

"What is this nonsense in the middle of the night? Just coax Fanfan to sleep." Lu Fan’s father knew her personality well and wouldn’t fall for her tricks.

"Dad, if you don’t co back, I’ll never acknowledge you again!" Lu Fan jumped off the bed, snatched the phone, pouted, and shouted loudly, even pretending to cry, "I’m done! I’m leaving ho!"

"Fanfan is such a handful. I’ll just have another child and this ti, a son!" A woman in nightwear hugged Lu Fan’s father from behind, aware that he had always wanted a son. She knew having a child would secure her status.

Smack! Lu Fan’s father broke free, and with a wave of his hand slapped the mistress’s cheek.

"Who allowed you to call her Fanfan? Even if you gave birth to a litter, none of them could compare to Fanfan!" Lu Fan’s father glared at the mistress, his anger boiling over. She often caused trouble, but Fanfan was his cherished treasure.

The mistress held her cheek, now bearing prominent finger marks, and cried and wailed as she always did, but this ti, her tactics didn’t work. Lu Fan’s father ignored her entirely and stord out the door.

Twenty minutes later, Lu Fan’s father returned ho and saw his daughter sitting on the living room sofa, drinking red tea and watching cartoons.

"Good, you didn’t exceed half an hour. So I’ve decided to spare that woman." Lu Fan glanced at the clock and nodded, "Otherwise next ti, Dad, the only place you’d see her would be in the slums of Brazil."

"What nonsense are you spouting?" Initially thinking his daughter was joking, Lu Fan’s father felt a chill when her star-bright eyes brimd with killing intent. His heart skipped a beat, sensing sothing unsettling.

"Dad, co sit with !" Lu Fan shrugged her shoulders, then cheerfully patted the spot next to her on the sofa.

"I must be overthinking; there’s no way Fanfan is so kind of big shot!" Lu Fan’s father pinched his forehead. His daughter’s aura reminded him of a mafia boss he had once encountered in Italy during a vacation. "Tell , where have you been lately? You even ditched the bodyguards—are you trying to give a heart attack?"

"Didn’t I tell you I was on vacation with friends?" Lu Fan said begrudgingly. Ever since she had brought back jewels worth billions, she had made an agreent with her father not to interfere in her personal matters.

"Well, as long as you’re safe!"

Though Lu Fan’s father wasn’t a top-tier wealthy man, he had extensive connections. He had heard about rumors circulating in affluent circles regarding the mysterious Trojan Horse Ga. Initially, he didn’t believe them, but when Lu Fan returned ho with massive amounts of jewels and advanced technology, even a fool could see sothing was amiss.

Though his daughter was a genius child, capable of managing accounts flawlessly to quietly build wealth, the sums involved were simply overwhelming.

Rembering how wealthy individuals were willing to spend tens of millions of US dollars just for information about the Trojan, and knowing his daughter was connected, Lu Fan’s father felt lancholy, yet above all, worry.

"What’s wrong? You look terrible with that frown—it’ll make you look old." Lu Fan flopped onto her dad’s lap, extending a finger to smooth out the wrinkles on his forehead.

"Haha, my greatest wish is simply to see you grow up, get married, and have kids. So, Fanfan, promise —never do dangerous things." Lu Fan’s father pressed his forehead against hers.

"Of course not!" A flicker of hesitation and panic flashed through Lu Fan’s eyes, though she quickly hid it. "Dad, go rest early; tomorrow, take to the amusent park."

"Alright, get Fanfan ready for bed!" Lu Fan’s father motioned for the maid to assist.

"Let’s sleep together!" Lu Fan suddenly kissed her dad on the cheek, then leapt off the sofa, grabbed his hand, and tugged him up before pushing him toward the stairs.

"Haha, Fanfan has gotten stronger!" Lu Fan’s father teased her.

"Dad, I’m sorry, but I must accompany Uncle Tang Zheng for the last stretch." Lu Fan bit her lip, fighting back tears. "Besides, if I’m no longer around, you can find a new wife and live happily ever after."

In truth, Lu Fan understood. Her father’s refusal to remarry was entirely due to her, worrying a stepmother might treat her badly.

This ti during the break, Lu Fan had tried countless ways to monopolize her father’s ti for fifteen days, visiting all the places she had long wanted to go.

Late at night, in a five-star hotel room, Lu Fan sat up, gazing at the moonlight streaming through the window’s slats. She knew the teleportation ti was growing near.

"These fifteen days... they’ve been the happiest days of my life." Lu Fan quietly got out of bed, gazed at her dad’s sleeping face, then reluctantly climbed back up and kissed him on the cheek. "Soon, I’ll have a little brother or sister. Too bad, I probably won’t get to et them!"

Lu Fan removed her night robe, donned the protective clothing, and pulled out a notebook.

"What should I write?" Lu Fan nibbled on her pen’s tip, realizing there were too many things she wanted to tell her father. She began to write furiously.

After filling the notebook, she reached for another one, but her body began to fade.

"Holy Land War initiated, teleportation ti has arrived!"

The Silver Trojan’s chanical voice remained cold, like an unyielding block of ice.

Plink, plink. Crystal-clear tears slid down Lu Fan’s cheek, falling onto the table. They soaked the notebook’s pages, causing the ink to blur and spread.
