1256: Chapter 10: Bloody Duel (Seeking Monthly Votes) 1256: Chapter 10: Bloody Duel (Seeking Monthly Votes) “We are all good people, no harm intended!” Seeing the man in the mask through the Magic Mirror, the newbies were confused, with one even trying to strike up a conversation, putting on a servile attitude, “If we have offended you in any way, please forgive us.”

“Shut up, this is your first and last warning, interrupt again, and I will turn you into Cyclops dung!” The masked man’s face was full of disgust.

The Magic Mirror hovered in mid-air perfectly capturing his expression.

“Dammit, as expected, it’s the high mortality rate of the great purge, the most troubleso are these kinds of gas bound by mystical forces with a fantasy the.” Mu Nianqi felt a headache for the first ti; in such gas, trying to brute force your way through with pure strength was a joke.

It was more about testing intelligence and situational adaptability, and one small mistake could lead to team annihilation.

Muscles and batons were the least useful in this type of ga.

“This is bad, I’ve thought of the Terror Alice from Demon City!” Lu Fan pouted, crouched on the ground, drawing circles, but her gaze was secretly sizing up the Magic Mirror, observing it carefully, thinking about how to kill it.

The naturally stupid one still hadn’t co to her senses; upon hearing the mutterings of the little loli in the cage next to her, she was first stunned then beca anxious, looking towards Qin Yan.

She knew she was not smart and found these situations very difficult to handle.

“So, let’s start with sothing simple, a battle to the death,” said the masked man, looking at the survivors.

He blew a breath, and a wisp of Black Mist drifted from the Magic Mirror, forming a net that segregated them, “Each ti, I will randomly select gladiators from both sides.

What you need to do is to kill your opponent and survive!”

“Not fighting your giants?” Dong Zixuan was astonished.

She had been eager to try, ready to slaughter the giants to oblivion, but now she was told she needed to kill her own people, which was hard for her to accept.

“Don’t you think it’s more cruel, more fun this way?” The masked man, like a preacher, incited the crowd.

“You against the giants, you’d have a hundred percent chance of dying, but killing your own kind, you’d definitely have a slim chance of survival!”

The newbies were agitated.

The team that was united at heart imdiately started to fracture.

So suspicious individuals were warily eyeing others, fearing being targeted, while others were considering how to kill their opponents.

After all, what did it matter if they were alumni or not?

They didn’t actually know each other.

Of course, there were also so students who didn’t think that much and were just afraid, constantly crying.

These people might be kind, but their chances of survival weren’t great.

The Conquerors all had serious expressions and looked towards Tang Zheng.

What if it was a comrade who was chosen?

What should they do?

Could they really bring about an outco of life-and-death?

Tang Zheng signaled for them to be calm with a reassuring gesture; he didn’t know what to do either.

“Pervert, fight one-on-one if you dare!” Dong Zixuan cursed angrily, challenging the man in the mask.

“Since you’re so proactive, you’ll be the first to enter the fray.

Slave, release her!” The masked man was unfazed by the policewoman’s defiance and laughed instead, “I like to train a woman of character like you.

How about it?

Interested in becoming my slave?”

“Dream on!” Dong Zixuan summoned a burst of hot red lava from the ground with a gesture, casting it towards the Magic Mirror.

The Black Mist surged and blocked the Magic Mirror, shielding it from the lava, not even singeing a hair.

“Hmm?

So you know magic, no wonder you’re so arrogant, but it’s completely unimpressive!” The masked man casually shot a black mist arrow.

The black mist penetrated the Heart-eating Cage and hit the policewoman.

It then coiled around her like it had a life of its own, forming black shackles at her wrists, ankles, and neck.

Dong Zixuan refused to give in, fuming with anger, wanting to turn the place into a pool of magma, but her powers just wouldn’t co out.

Instead, a piercing pain spread from her limbs to her whole body, as if she was being flayed and her tendons pulled, causing her so much pain that she curled up.

The Cyclops ignited so wormwood and smoked it next to the Heart-eating Cage.

As it opened, the policewoman fell out and landed on the wormwood strewn on the ground.

“Trouble now, don’t get caught in the crossfire.

Seal the powers!” Teng Little Three prayed to the heavens, but it was useless.

The very next sentence from the masked man chilled her to the bone.

“Tsk tsk, quite a few small fries know magic, but that won’t do; it’s too unfair to the others.

Seal!” The masked man spat out hundreds of black mist swords.

No matter who it was, they were tightly bound.

Better to make a mistake and kill than let anyone escape.

Tang Zheng tested Gravity Suppression, and instantly piercing pain spread throughout his body.

He didn’t know if bursting a Seed would break the seal.

“Don’t worry, the Black Mist is harmless to ordinary people,” the masked man assured, then turned his attention, “You’re up, buzz cut.

You can’t be afraid of losing to a woman, right?”

The Cyclops imdiately pounced and released him.

The newbies looked at the unlucky guy in their midst with relief, and at the sa ti, they secretly felt fortunate; thankfully, Tang Zheng and his team’s abilities were sealed.

Otherwise, if they had to face them, they would surely lose.

The university student with the buzz cut hesitated, unsure of what to do.

“You only have three minutes to fight to the death.

If no victor erges, I’ll let the giants eat you.

Now, begin!”

In the dimly lit cave, the slaughter began!

“To hell with you!” Dong Zixuan suddenly pulled out the Howling Reaper from her Space Backpack and started firing at the Magic Mirror.

The bullets, glowing with fluorescence, pierced the Black Mist and hit the Magic Mirror but still achieved no results.

Seeing their deity under attack, the six giants roared angrily and rushed forward, swinging their Wolf-tooth Clubs.

Dong Zixuan dodged in a panic, but without her powers, she was no different from ordinary people and stood no chance against these giants.

In less than five seconds, she was smashed on the shoulder by a Wolf-tooth Club and flew out like a baseball that had been hit by a ho run, crashing against the cave Wall, coughing up blood and unable to get up.

“Delusional, the ga begins!” the masked man announced, a vortex of black mist ford, and then a torrent of cold weapons rained down like hail, scattering across the cave.

There were Viking broadswords, knight swords, crossbows, and redwood longbows, all brand new and sharpened to lethal keenness!

“Huh?

You want to die?” the masked man noticed that the buzz-cut man didn’t move and snorted in contempt.

The buzz-cut man shuddered and shook his head; he didn’t know what to do.

“Then go kill her, you’re lucky, oh, getting a wounded one in the first round!” the masked man goaded the buzz-cut man, stimulating his nerves.

The buzz-cut man walked towards Dong Zixuan but hesitated.

“What are you hesitating for?

She has a gun, even injured she can easily kill you, your ti is running out!” the masked man enjoyed tornting his toys, watching their anguished expressions.

Dong Zixuan grabbed the machine gun, trying to get up and attack the magic mirror, but this movent scared the buzz-cut man, who hurriedly ran a few steps and picked up the nearest crossbow, aiming at the policewoman.

“I won’t kill you, let’s join forces to kill the magic mirror!” Dong Zixuan was upright and unable to read the situation; with her abilities, she couldn’t even defeat a giant.

“Comndable bravery, but foolishness without self-awareness!” Mu Nianqi cursed, thinking of a solution.

“Dong Zixuan, you can’t kill it, watch out for that university student!” Having shared the sa batch, Zhao Dongtao warned the policewoman, which resulted in angry glares from the university students; his words also prompted a close friend of the buzz-cut man to cry out.

“Kill him!” It was a simple wish to look out for a friend, but he hadn’t realized that Dong Zixuan knew Tang Zheng and the others; killing her ant certain death for him too.

“Why aren’t you taking action?

She’s deceiving you, hurry up and recover your strength!” the masked man continued to instigate, “Do you want to be turned into a human at skewer and eaten by giants?”

Watching Dong Zixuan raise the muzzle, the buzz-cut man shouted and shot a crossbow arrow at her.

Thud, the arrow nailed into Dong Zixuan’s thigh, causing her to scream in pain; disbelief covered the policewoman’s face, yet she still didn’t raise her gun.

“Sorry, I didn’t an to,” the buzz-cut man wavered, too scared to kill.

“Sorry?

You’ve already drawn blood, do you expect rcy now?

Only by killing her can you survive!” the masked man attacked his psyche.

The buzz-cut man wasn’t stupid; putting himself in their shoes, he wouldn’t spare soone trying to kill him.

So, with bitterness in his heart, he clenched his teeth, crouched down, took an arrow from the quiver, and ard the crossbow.

“Why?” Dong Zixuan instinctively raised her muzzle, but she just couldn’t pull the trigger on another human, even after being attacked; she still hoped the man would have a change of heart.

“Fire, do you want to die?” Amidst strangers, Zhao Dongtao chose to help his companion.

Tang Zheng sighed; this incident had cented the division within the team.

The buzz-cut man ard another crossbow bolt and let it fly; though injured, Dong Zixuan, aided by her protective clothing and the physical boost from the seed, dodged the shot.

“Damn!” Failing to hit his target, the buzz-cut man’s forehead was instantly covered in sweat as he fumbled to reload.

“There’s no ti, grab an axe and rush her, chop her head off!” the masked man howled, eager to see the policewoman beheaded.

The buzz-cut man did as told, roaring to embolden himself, and charged at Dong Zixuan with an axe in hand.

“Fire, you idiot!” Ruan Feifei and Teng Little Three roared, naturally using their words to win people over; they didn’t care about offending the newbies.

“No, no!” Dong Zixuan refused, but seeing the buzz-cut man’s ferocious attack, after dodging the first blow, she drew her handgun from her thigh and opened fire.

Bang, bang, the buzz-cut man took bullets to the chest, and his corpse fell beside the policewoman.

“No, please!” Dong Zixuan tossed away the handgun and hugged her head, bursting into tears.

In the mont she killed him, her long-held principles of justice crumbled; she finally realized she couldn’t remain detached in the face of death.

“Good, put her in the heart-eating cage and get rid of the corpse,” the masked man ordered, then turned to the survivors, “So, who shall it be for the second round?”

“This little lolita isn’t bad.” The masked man set his sights on Lu Fan, his gaze moved past the newbie and settled on Tang Zheng, “You seem to be their leader?” (To be continued.
