"Seems those guys are worth more than the other loot bags, nice." Lucifer nodded his head before retracting his fingers and getting back to absorbing cultivation.
Among the 3 who were still left alive, without exception, all of them were shuddering in place. With tear-stricken faces, they regretted ever leaving the confines of the Church.
They were not cut out for this!
They were from the Nation of Light! It was supposed to be exorcizing and baptizing! Not this f*cking shit-storm!
"W-What do we do…? Do we run…?" Asked Li Gao, his voice shaky and filled with trepidation.
"No! We mustn't do that! If we do that, then we're dead! Did you not see the bloody armor of the Golden Cardinal!? He's dead, fucking bloody dead!!"
Zhao Huang discarded his image as an all-knowing senior. Instead, he devolved into a chaotic mindset, willingly letting fear corrode his lucid train of thought.
"Then what do we do…?"
The Walking Giant was never one to veer away from a tough fight. However, what he just saw go down was no fight; it was rely the entertainnt of a predator at the top of the food chain.
The monster neither needed to devour them for sustenance nor did he do it in order to protect soone.
He did it for fun… To see his prey squirm…
"I don't want to die! I don't want to die!!"

Out of nowhere, Li Gao's mind snapped, and he started to scream like a lunatic!
Getting up off the ground and running away from the bloody massacre, he wanted to escape and get back ho to his wife and family-!

"Guhh!! W-Why….?" Li Gao looked down at his stomach and saw a gaping hole, one covered by the broken, protruding ribs that used to be a part of him.
"Nooo!! You fool! Why did you do that!? We could've made it out of this if we just-!" In the midst of running up to save his junior, Zhao Huang suddenly realized that he 'ran'. Then, with the whistling of the wind, yet another hole was blown through the body of a man.
"Zhao Huang!! How could you be just as stupid!? I'm so supposed to be the big stupid one!!"
While groveling in the dirt, tears stread down Li Chen's squared face.
While on his last legs, Zhao Huang looked toward the Walking Giant. Then, with a despondent voice, he muttered, "Just live on, you big idiot..."
Thud!
With a thud, Zhao Huang's body fell right next to his Junior.
"!!!"
Watching the light fade from his friend's eyes, Li Chen's anger quickly overwheld his sadness!!
He would kill the monster that did this-!

The mont that the Walking Giant erupted in rage, another crisp sword slash echoed through the environnt. Then, with a precision cut, Li Chen's head slid off his neck.
With reddened eyes and tears still running down them, his severed face served to show just how much hate he felt during his last monts of life…
"Phew! Now that all of that is done and over with, I can continue to absorb so cultivation base!" Lucifer laughingly spoke to himself, quickly getting back to the matter at hand.
"Munch Munch…" Li Yan chomped on so chocolate sweets, observing every facial expression that her big brother made. "Evil… But he's my evil…" She apathetically mumbled, her grip on his head getting even tighter.
As the loot goblin obtained all the loot he possibly could, his cultivation actively increased in the background.

Although Lucifer broke through to the Late Foundation Establishnt Realm, the boost still wasn't as large as he thought it would be. Still, it was enough to allow his Battle Power to progress into the 'Early Nascent Soul Realm (Late)'.
With such advancents as the precedent, it would likely take no more than a couple hours for his Battle Power to pass into the Middle Nascent Soul Realm!
However, for that to happen, Lucifer would need to find so more strong people to fight.
Thankfully, the earlier fight attracted quite a number of powerful existences in Slothian City…
"Let's see… There are about 35 of them, coming from both this city and the surrounding cities. Hmm, it seems like I will just need to even the playing field a bit… Heh."
The first thing Lucifer did was spend 100 CE² to upgrade his Mystic Confluence Physique to the 4th Order.
Upon getting his Battle Power to the Peak of the Early Nascent Soul Realm, he used up 350 CE² in order to purchase 35 clones at a price tag of 10 CE² each.
The end result of this little spending spree was the spawning in of 35 clones, all of whom possessed power at the very peak of the Early Nascent Soul Realm!
After everything was said and done, a wide smirk ford on Lucifer's devilishly handso face as he honed in on the approaching experts. Then, with surging strength, he shouted, "Let's kill them all! Loot, that is what we want!!!"
"Loot!!!" All the clones bellowed in unison!
Following the declaration of their objective, everyone moved toward their targets, aiming to reap the loot!
"Loot… Kill them… Yum…"
Li Yan didn't really know what her big brother was talking about, but so as to not feel left out, she stuck her small hands in the air and murmured the sa words.
Of course, she did so while still munching away at the snacks she never was allowed to eat before becoming so close with her best big brother…
