The man in question was an old man. From appearances alone, he was definitely soone on his last legs.
With his gray hair sparce on his round, shiny head, and the blood leaking from multiple parts of his body, he looked similar to a beaten-up zombie.
'It's quite clear that he just experienced an extrely tough battle. But what I'm curious about is just who could reduce an Early Nascent Realm Expert to such a state-'
In the process of thinking that thought, Lucifer noticed a large one-horned beast from the corner of his eye.
With nurous shiny blue scales, four legs, and a horse-like body, it deserved its title as a Qilin hybrid Spiritual Beast in the Nascent Soul Realm!

Promptly and efficiently, Lucifer slashed off not only the old dude's arm but also his head, Nascent Soul, and Core.
In the span of a nanosecond, his grandpa died wide-eyed and in disbelief!
"Dude, you shouldn't go around jump-scareing people like that. You could get sobody seriously hurt." Lucifer patted off his crimson-colored robes with a slight look of disgust strewn across his face.
After which, he walked up to the old dude's corpse and picked up whatever he was trying to give him.
What he saw from the pile of blood and bones was a small, shiny, golden talisman in the shape of three long swords crossed over one another.
"Hmm… From this old man's mories, this appears to be so form of Entrance Token for an Academy called the Golden Ascendancy. Nice, will definitely pop up when I have so free ti."
The Golden Ascendancy Academy was an illustrious Academy for Heavenly Geniuses of the Tianwu Continent, and it was chalk full of every kind of talent there was.
However, the minimum requirent to enter the Academy was to be in the Soul Transformation Realm and main in at least two different Cultivation Paths.
