Mixo Half-plane.
The furious winds roared, and the blizzard raged.
Yijiu’s small figure, set against the vastness of the icy tundra, resembled a rowboat struggling to stay afloat amidst the raging waves.
Hailstones the size of millstones, thousands in number, hidden by the blizzard, pumled towards Yijiu.
Yijiu kept dodging.
With his rich combat experience, he constantly maintained his scouting combat skill, not needing to look up to discern the direction of the hail.
Bang, bang, bang...
The hail smashed down, missing their target and imdiately exploding upon hitting the ground, releasing intense cold that froze the air.
Within a few seconds, the freezing air ford a two-ter-high giant ice block.
Now and then, hailstones exploded beside Yijiu, the freezing chill creeping over, already accumulating multiple frostbite injuries on his body.
But Yijiu had no ti to heal.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
A series of ice spears, rising from the snowy ground, aid at Yijiu.
Yijiu quickly leaped, vaulting into the air.
Out of the raging snowstorm suddenly erged a huge figure, swinging its fists at Yijiu, who was suspended mid-air.
It was a Golden Level Snow Elent!
The Snow Elent stood three ters tall, with a broad and muscular fra. Its punches tore through the air, and with the added force of the blizzard, their threat was significantly amplified.
At the critical mont, Yijiu flung his arm, sending his dagger flying.
Attached to the handle of the dagger was his Golden Fighting Spirit.
The Fighting Spirit condensed into a sturdy long line.
The dagger buried itself in a distant block of ice, instantly anchoring in place.
Yijiu continued to use his combat skill, his body violently pulled by the tether of Golden Level Fighting Spirit.
Bang.
The Snow Elent’s attack missed, sending a spray of snow and slush into the air.
Unable to slow down, Yijiu’s face collided directly with the ice block.
Ignoring his dizziness and stumbling legs, he frantically leaned against the surface of the ice, rolling away to keep dodging.
The next mont, the Snow Giant’s long-range attack hit where he had just been.
Boom.
The spell’s impact shattered the ice block, with the spell’s remaining force striking Yijiu in the back.
Yijiu was "boosted" by the blow, smashed directly into the snow.
The Snow Giant followed close behind, but its attacks punched into the snow, missing as Yijiu had vanished from sight for the ti being.
The Snow Giant roared in frustration, pounding its chest, and as it spotted "Yijiu," it resud its relentless pursuit.
anwhile, the real Yijiu was in a corner of the snowfield, tending to his wounds urgently.
He downed three vials of potions and refined his Fighting Spirit against ti.
Within just half a minute, various Frost Magic spells found him, forcing Yijiu to continue fleeing.
"So far, there have been three Golden Level Snow Elents."
"Even if I use my strongest decoys and hiding skills, I can only hold out for about half a minute at most."
"Clearly, Shuanglian isn’t trying to kill outright; she’s deliberately maintaining this intensity of battle to drain all of my Fighting Spirit, isn’t she?"
"Fighting Spirit reserves... I still have two-thirds left."
Yijiu was feeling increasingly heavy-hearted.
Golden Level Snow Elents were extrely difficult to deal with; their Demon Crystals could move about their bodies. Unless Yijiu could pinpoint this critical vulnerability, no matter how severely he wounded a Snow Elent, its elental body would quickly recover in such a battlefield environnt.
"Eh?" Yijiu let out a small exclamation of surprise.
He keenly sensed that the continuous onslaught had suddenly paused.
"Did reinforcents arrive?"
"Are they attacking Shuanglian, causing a problem with the offensive here?"
Yijiu had this thought just as the offensive ramped back up to its original intensity.
"Damn it!" The Golden Level assassin cursed, forced to run once again.
His hopes shattered.
Honey Snow Tower.
Control room.
The operator had officially been replaced by Bu Quan.
Shuanglian stood beside her, instructing her hand-on-hand, with patience and ticulous care.
It was because of their exchange that the offensive weakened.
In fact, even as Bu Quan gradually got the hang of it, the blizzard attacks she could muster were far less than Shuanglian’s.
"It’s spiritual power."
"My spiritual power can’t compare to my teacher’s; she can control a massive ice and snowstorm simultaneously, while I struggle to manage a storm even one-tenth the size with all my might."
"The teacher can cast multiple Frost Magic spells at the sa ti, coordinating them to corner Yijiu. I can only manage five spells simultaneously, and they are all low-level."
Bu Quan operated herself against Yijiu, acutely feeling the vast gap between herself and her ntor.
Before long, Bu Quan voluntarily stopped her operation.
The Tower Spirit took over her work, continuing to chase Yijiu around.
Bu Quan’s operation didn’t consu her Mana, but she had to use spiritual power to control various Ice Elent spells.
"Have so potion," Shuanglian said, taking out a dozen vials of potions, handing them to Bu Quan.
All Golden Level Spirit Potions!
Bu Quan was slightly taken aback, "Teacher, isn’t it inappropriate for to use Golden Level potions right now?"
Shuanglian replied, "I’ve diluted them. After you drink them, you’ll get an effect 30% better than taking a Silver Level Spirit Potion."
Bu Quan felt a bit embarrassed, "But the price of a Golden Level potion is over a hundred tis more than that of Silver Level. It seems a bit wasteful for to use it."
"Hehe," Shuanglian chuckled lightly, "This is much better than you simply giving those four Alchemy Workshops to the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps for free."
Bu Quan stuck out his tongue and obediently took the potion, pulling out a vial and drinking it down directly.
Her spiritual power quickly recovered.
In a short while, she began to control the Magic Array again, taking action against Yijiu.
Many spells weren’t within her Silver Level capability, but with the Mage Tower’s assistance and a Magic Array laid out by the Half-plane, there was no need for her to construct a Magic Model or consu her own mana.
Bu Quan’s control beca more and more proficient.
Shuanglian’s occasional guidance resulted in rapid improvents for Bu Quan.
Bu Quan was purely practicing magic; her experience in casting increased sharply. Only through practical combat can one deeply understand many things.
After three rounds of rest, Bu Quan felt she had gained a lot.
"If I am given another chance to fight Yijiu alone, my performance will be at least ten tis better than before!" she declared.
"I’ve learned a lot about choosing the right spell and the right ti to cast it."
"These choices are very important in real combat!"
"Speaking of which, Yijiu is truly an excellent sparring partner."
"My teacher has been too good to ..."
While Bu Quan was secretly grateful, Shuanglian nodded inwardly.
She was very satisfied with Bu Quan’s performance in practical combat training.
"She’s a genius!"
"With an incredible talent and flair for alchemy. Although slightly weaker in combat, she surpasses the other apprentices."
"Though she has been away from for so ti, she hasn’t slacked in her practice. Her foundation is solid."
"Not bad, it seems she took my advice to heart before I left. What an obedient child!"
"Drink up, this potion is mixed with so good stuff. It doesn’t only restore spiritual power—it also increases the upper limit."
Shuanglian had invested much more in Bu Quan’s potential than the latter had realized.
Shuanglian didn’t disclose the hidden secrets of the potion.
On the one hand, she didn’t want to put too much pressure on Bu Quan. On the other hand, though she cared a lot for Bu Quan, she had to maintain an appearance of fairness, as she had other students too!
The effects of the increased spiritual power capacity gradually beca evident in Bu Quan’s subsequent practical training.
She was now much more adept at casting multiple spells simultaneously.
"Very good, keep training like this, and Xiao Quan Quan’s practical combat weaknesses will greatly improve."
"The most crucial thing is that this kind of training is very safe."
"Golden Level training targets are a rare find indeed."
Shuanglian’s consideration for Bu Quan was genuine and painstaking.
"The key issue now is the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps."
A sharp glint flashed in Shuanglian’s eyes.
She had discovered that the cooperation between the Lijian family and the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps had deepened, to the point of involving the Space Shuttle Team!
Even if Mian licang, the current Clan Leader of the Lijian family, had the reputation of respecting the virtuous, this treatnt of a Silver Level power was excessive.
"Perhaps what moved the Lijian family was alchemy knowledge of the sa caliber as what I have seen!" Shuanglian speculated to herself.
She had no fondness for the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps.
According to her nature, she was likely to reprimand the survivors. She had previously acted covertly, taking Bu Quan and leaving without making a move against the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps, mainly because she was concerned about Bu Quan’s personal feelings.
"Regardless, Long Fu is very persuasive; even Mian licang was convinced by him."
"He successfully leveraged the power of the Lijian family. Before this, he had also drawn into exerting effort!"
What Shuanglian didn’t realize was that Zong Ge, posing as Long Fu, hadn’t played much of a role in the negotiations. The real effort was made by Zi Di.
Her dislike for the Dragon-man youth deepened.
In her view, the Dragon-man youth was very skilled at communication. He used this skill to deal with the simple and kind-hearted Xiao Quan Quan, leading her beloved apprentice astray.
"Now, dealing with the Dragon Lion rcenary Corps requires caution."
Shuanglian felt she needed to be even more careful.
It was the presence of the Lijian family that made her wary.
She could casually discipline the likes of Da Be and Cai Jing, the Mage. But now, dealing with the survivors, she remained as restrained as possible.
"Perhaps I can extract more alchemy knowledge from them?"
"That giant they stole is no simple creature; its Bloodline Grade is at least Gold."
"This ti, if I step in and help them retrieve the giant, what kind of reward will Long Fu give ?"
"Saving a future Golden Level should at least yield alchemy materials of the sa level as before, right?"
Pfft.
Yijiu coughed up a mouthful of blood, mixed with a dozen or so small shards of ice.
Yijiu’s face turned pale, and his body felt ice cold.
His Fighting energy consumption had reached 48%, almost half.
"I can’t go on like this; I must initiate contact with them!" Yijiu resolved, starting his prayers.
Before, he had no opportunity, but now that Bu Quan was in control, the external pressure on Yijiu had significantly lessened.
This finally gave him ti to pray.
He expended a great deal of Divine Grace, and his spirit was imdiately drawn to the peak of Anqiu.
There, there were already people discussing matters.
"It’s Yijiu. His tombstone has lit up."
"He’s back!"
"I told you, he must be fine, right?"
Yijiu’s appearance imdiately attracted the attention of the other duelists.
"Did you escape? Where are you now?" i Lin asked imdiately.
"Quick, save ! I am about to be killed by Shuanglian!" Yijiu cried out loudly.
The scene fell silent.
