In the distance, large amounts of lava bubbled from a volcano.

If I were Zi Di, I’d be questioning why I couldn’t just suck it up and ask 866 for a ride on his scorpion back. Since there are no animals to ride because basically everything is a ferocious predator, it would be nice to ride along the smooth back of a scorpion for a change. Then again, love is a fickle and strange thing. I bet Cang Xu is just taking it in stride as strange things continue to unfold around him.
