Zhen Jin protected the giant and didn’t harm his credibility with the people.

Zhen Jin gazed at the giant in the grass shack.

Notes
One could consider the giant’s madness a flight and fight response getting mixed up and jumbled. Unnatural stillness followed by imdiate and undiscriminating aggression, perhaps it has sothing to do with his mixed blood screwing sothing up in his body. After all, without a bloodcore to sustain heavy biological contradictions, things tend to go wrong.
