Xiang Yu was at the forty-first layer of Body Refining after his reset.
The fierce battle between his two physiques had pushed him to the forty-fourth layer, and now, following his Stellar Body breakthrough, he had reached the forty-sixth layer.
His physical strength was truly getting out of control.
Another benefit erged - with his reaction efficiency increasing by over ten tis, his bloodlines were advancing at an unprecedented rate.
His White Tiger and Dragon bloodlines began stimulating his body due to this rapid advancent. The stimulation grew stronger and stronger until... he broke through to the forty-seventh layer of Body Refining.
His Black Tortoise and Phoenix bloodlines also contributed experience points to his Enlightennt after the upgrade. Combined with the Enlightennt experience he had gained from the Stellar Physique breakthrough, he was just a few points away from advancing to Immortal Enlightennt. It seed he might break through during the day.
As he contemplated this progress, the second reaction began.
"Right, I almost forgot," he thought as he started circulating energy.
He needed to calm the previously violent energy left over from the Stellar Body breakthrough in preparation for the Transcendent Dao Body’s advancent.
Just like before, his body began rearranging itself again, transforming into sothing greater.
As this transformation occurred, Xiang Yu suddenly found himself floating in an extrely bright space where all sorts of lights converged.
He instantly recognized this place - he had entered a state of Enlightennt.
It seed the Transcendent Dao Body had given him the final push his Enlightennt needed to level up.
He quickly settled into a ditative position.
With so much to work on, he didn’t dare waste a single mont.
He wanted to see if he could use this enlightened state to spy on the Absolute Source concept, but since he had obtained it later rather than imdiately after his reset, he couldn’t. One could say this was actually quite a loss.
Well, he decided not to dwell on it for now.
First, he entered deep concentration and began focusing on his Researcher profession. He was certain there was a path forward. Even if there wasn’t one, he was confident he could create it himself.
He focused on concepts such as fate, order, and karma, analyzing how they worked.
He didn’t want to base the Researcher profession directly on them, but he wanted insights into knowledge acquisition. He studied those laws intently, then interpreted how they functioned in professions like Appraisal.
After completing this analysis, he compiled all that knowledge and began rewriting the Researcher profession, slowly testing if he could open up new possibilities. As he rewrote it, he constantly hit dead ends, forcing him to erase sections and rewrite them once again.
He tried different variables and combinations, running millions of simulations in his head.
Thankfully, in this enlightened state, he had considerable processing power to work with - even more than his now Immortal-grade enlightennt.
Whether it was Celestial grade or beyond that, he didn’t know, and frankly, it didn’t matter at the mont.
He continued writing and rewriting the profession until suddenly, sothing clicked.
He saw a path opening before him.

Xiang Yu’s eyes brightened when he saw the notification, but he quickly ignored it.
His ti in this state was limited, so he might as well take full advantage of it.
Hehe, just you wait, wife. Don’t think that I’ve forgotten. I might not talk about it, but it’ll always remain etched in my mind.
He shifted his attention to his domains. He was going to advance them to laws. Although he hadn’t yet discovered his own personal law like he had planned, having a law at the mont would be really nice, especially since he was facing soone like Li Yao every day.
He first concentrated on void and gravity, advancing them carefully. As he pushed them towards the absolute level, he felt the enlightennt state start to waver.
Dammit, he thought, pushing even harder and employing all his concentration. He felt both domains jump into the absolute realm before suddenly, the scene shifted and he was back in his body.
"Fuck," he cursed.
Even so, he smiled. It wasn’t all for nothing.
He had advanced the two domains to absolute level, but that wasn’t the real reward. Even if they were absolute level, there was no way they could put up a fight against a law. The real prize was that at the very last second, he had discovered how the enlightennt state occurred - how it stimulated one’s enlightennt.
From that discovery, he believed he could also infer how spiritual root overdrive worked and how to trigger that effect. From those two insights, he could not only learn how to enter those states at will, but also maybe develop a theory on how to upgrade natural talent.
His eyes glead with excitent. He wondered how he had figured that out all of a sudden. It was then that he rembered.
Oh, it was because of this, he thought, turning to his system:

He looked at the profession in amazent. The profession enhanced his enlightennt greatly. It also boosted his learning ability to insane levels, allowing him to more easily find patterns and connect them.
It also ca with two unique abilities.
The first one was [Preach]. It was like preaching the dao that he had seen so much in cultivation books.
It allowed him to "preach" a certain topic. While preaching, the listeners would enter a state of enlightennt, taking in all his teachings and understanding them to so extent according to their enlightennt level and his.
At his current Immortal-grade enlightennt, he should be able to force those dumb kids of his to learn a thing or two. This was really great, and it scaled well too. The more he advanced, the more easily he could teach.
The only problem was the other party - if soone simply had too low enlightennt, they might understand his teachings but not necessarily be able to replicate them.
Well, he would solve that soon anyway with his new theory on natural talent.
