Li Yao gripped his hands tightly and said, "Just hold on a little longer," her expression wild with desire.
"But you said the sa thing two hours ago," Xiang Yu replied.
He looked at Li Yao, thinking to himself that sothing was strange about his wife.
He was so much stronger than her, so how was he losing this battle? As the struggle continued, he seed to grow weaker and weaker. It was only a few minutes until the reset, and he would need his strength to handle so of the breakthroughs.
Li Yao was moving when her expression suddenly changed.
"Huh?" She was surprised. She reached down with her hand. "It’s... gone?" She looked at Xiang Yu in shock, only to notice sothing strange. "Breasts?" she wondered. Then, looking at her husband’s now delicate face, she paused.
"Let’s take a break for now," the now female Xiang Yu said in a weak voice.
"Senior brother, you..." Li Yao stared at him. "I didn’t know you liked this sort of play," she said, licking her lips. "Don’t worry, I don’t discriminate. I’m okay with this too."
Xiang Yu’s expression turned angry. He hit her on the head. "What kind of play? Get off , you’re so heavy," Xiang Yu said, throwing Li Yao to the side.
She landed on the ground with a wince. Xiang Yu got up, his void silk moving imdiately to dress him. He then threw Li Yao so fresh clothes, which she caught and used to cover herself.
She looked at Xiang Yu. "Senior brother, your transformation technique is really incredible. It even sses with your emotions," she said.
"You... what’s happening with your body?" Xiang Yu asked.
Li Yao looked down at her body and noticed golden energy gathering around her. "This is..." she stared in shock, not understanding. She wondered if this was the strange feeling she had felt when playing with her husband.
[No way] the Empress said as she appeared.
"What is it?" Li Yao asked.
[The Heavenly Dao body. It’s actually upgrading] the Empress said.
"What?" Xiang Yu and Li Yao exclaid in shock.
"But how is that possible?" The Empress held her chin in thought.
She thought to herself that the Heavenly Dao body was sothing Li Yao was born with, granted by the heavens. For it to upgrade, she must claim her heavenly fortune. But she was still stuck in the mortal world. Although the heavenly rit was also so sort of heavenly fortune, there was no way it would be enough to upgrade the Heavenly Dao body. She wondered if things were different for her since she was the Heavenly Dao Avatar.

Xiang Yu panicked. "No! Stop! Don’t summon lightning here! Not my sect!" he scread as he rushed towards her. He grabbed her with one hand, then threw a punch, shattering a hole through space. He then threw Li Yao into the hole, and the Empress was instantly sucked in too.
"Phew," Xiang Yu thought as he cald down. If a tribulation had happened here, his sect would have been ruined. Luckily, he was quick.
As he thought of this, it finally hit him that he had just thrown his wife into a spatial rift without hesitation. Even if he had calculated where it would open and was sure she would be fine, this was still...
He steadied his breath, then slowly, his body transford back to male.
"Looks like it does indeed ss with my emotions slightly," he thought as he sat in a ditative posture, waiting for the reset.
A few thousand miles away, Li Yao and the Empress appeared. As soon as they appeared, lightning clouds began to gather above them.
[Get ready. Let’s use this chance to breakthrough from peak Soul Formation to peak Soul and Body Integration] she said. [With the energy you have saved up plus the one from the Heavenly Dao body upgrade, you might even be able to attempt tribulation] the Empress said. Though she admitted that was probably a stretch, it should at least be enough to level up the Nine Heavens Thunder Body by at least two heavens though.
