When Xiang Yu’s consciousness returned to his body, he was still receiving insights from the enlightennt breakthrough.
But after everything he had witnessed, it all felt like child’s play.
He sighed, wondering when he would get another enlightennt chance like that again. Even better, when would his base enlightennt reach that level?
As he was thinking about this, he felt his spiritual root boiling with energy. He had almost forgotten about that. Today, not only was his enlightennt entering the heavenly stage, but his spiritual root was also entering the divine grade.
While he thought about this, sothing else unexpected happened.
He felt his body start its usual rearrangent process that ca with dao body breakthroughs. Sensing inside himself, he felt that his chaos body was the one upgrading. He wondered if it was advancing because he had unlocked the chaos domain. He hadn’t expected this at all.
At that mont, his spiritual root reached a critical point and exploded.
All the qi was thrown out in a violent burst. Then, in the next instant, it transford into an endless black hole that began sucking in all the qi from the surrounding. Still, with the heavenly grade spirit vein, it was barely making a dent in the surrounding qi.
Xiang Yu felt his qi increase more and more until suddenly, he broke through to the second layer of core formation. But the process didn’t stop there. After a few more minutes, he broke through into the third layer of core formation.
He then felt the process slowly die down until it finally stopped completely.
He exhaled slowly to calm himself. The back-to-back breakthroughs felt really nice. He had even gotten halfway to the fourth layer and would break through again after his next reset. He laughed quietly. For other people, cultivation got harder the higher they climbed, but for him, it seed to get even easier.
At that mont, his chaos body reached its own critical point. Xiang Yu concentrated, calming his turbulent qi to ensure nothing went wrong during the transformation. After about half an hour, his chaos body broke through to the fifth level.
After the breakthrough ca the usual boosts in raw physical strength, followed by huge increases in his energy regeneration and utilization efficiency. Surprisingly, he actually received both light and dark immunity at the sa ti. He had thought that he would get one immunity now and another after the next breakthrough, but it seed he was wrong.
When he thought about it more, this actually made much more sense. Light and dark were opposing forces, so gaining immunity to both together created a perfect balance.
As he thought about this, he felt sothing stirring again within his body.
"No way," he thought. "It can’t be, right?"
The chaos body was actually breaking through once again.
He felt his body stir and continue restructuring itself. This ti, the process was extrely painful compared to before. It seed the jump from fifth level to sixth level was quite huge.
Xiang Yu’s thoughts were confird when he checked the system screen for the required experience points. Instead of the fifty thousand he had expected, it was actually five hundred thousand instead, a ten tis jump.
The experience bar was quickly filling up as the body broke through automatically. Xiang Yu wondered why the jump in requirents was so dramatically high. This made him extrely worried. Would his transcendent dao body require fifty million experience points to reach the sixth level?

After about an hour, the chaos body finally advanced to the sixth level.
The benefits this ti were a little different from the usual.
First was the usual, a huge boost in raw physical strength, energy regeneration and utilization. After this, he also received so minor body optimizations; they weren’t focused on combat effectiveness but instead focused on optimizing the body for domain usage.
Another insane boost he received was a level of resistance toward other people’s domains.
This ant that he was now able to negate so effects when enemy cultivators tried to suppress him with their own domains. Although "a level of resistance" was quite abstract compared to the complete immunity he had of the elents, he didn’t complain about it.
He thought to himself that he might even be able to gain complete domain immunity after leveling up further.
Speaking of leveling up, he pulled up the system screen to check how much experience would be required for the next advancent. The last increase had been really wild, and he was curious to see if the pattern would continue.

"One, two, three... six zeros?" Xiang Yu counted again, his eyes widening in disbelief. It was another ten tis jump in requirents. The number was so large it seed almost impossible to achieve. This was now officially his largest exp requirent.
Xiang Yu wondered why the experience requirent had increased so much.
More importantly, did this increase apply globally to all dao bodies? If so, then his Transcendent Dao Body would probably require six hundred million experience points to reach the sixth level. The thought made his head spin.
After so thought, he realized sothing he had missed.
He had actually gained another benefit from the chaos body level six upgrade that he hadn’t imdiately noticed. He had gained access to the chaos domain. Since he already had it, he hadn’t registered it as a new acquisition. No wonder his body had broken through to level six, since he had managed to create the domain himself through his own efforts, the chaos body had automatically jumped forward to catch up with this.
As for why the experience requirents had increased so dramatically, he had a theory. Drawing from so of the information he had gained during his earlier enlightennt state, combined with his own knowledge from his previous life, he ca up with an explanation that sowhat made sense.
Dao bodies were special physiques that were structured specifically to help cultivators learn and master the dao. The levels were divided into two major stages: the entry stage, which covered levels one through five, and the mastery stage, which spanned levels six through ten. He was assuming the limit was level ten, though he wasn’t completely sure about this.
The entry levels were designed for laying the foundation and preparing the cultivator’s body to properly learn dao. After completing the entry stage, you entered the mastery stages where you began to actively explore and manipulate your specific dao path.
It first started with the most rudintary thod of dao expression which was creating a domain. That was the sixth level milestone. For the seventh level, you would advance even further and gain access to law manipulation. After that ca the eighth level, where you would truly learn to embody your dao. Level nine would be about perfecting that dao understanding, and level ten would represent transcending your dao entirely.
But that’s just a theory, a cultivation theory...

"When he thought about it more, this actually made much more sense" : no it doesn’t. Well, it doesn’t make much logical sense, but it makes sense within his understanding of the yin-yang concept, that’s why he said it created a perfect balance.
