When dawn broke, Li Yao was reluctantly dragged back to perform her administrative duties by the empress, and Xiang Yu was finally left alone. He settled into position with a smile spreading across his face—now he could finally get to work...
He activated his cloning ability and created the remaining eight clones, bringing the total to nine. He didn’t create a dark elental clone since he had already given the last mind partition to the small Li Yao. Well, he supposed it was fine since he didn’t know if a dark clone might be mistaken for a demonic cultivator or sothing equally troubleso.
He then decided to assign specific roles to each of the clones.
First was the tal clone, which he assigned to blacksmithing. While the elents didn’t technically matter much when assigning tasks, it just felt right to match them appropriately.
The clone’s first job would be creating the alchemy furnace that he’d been putting off for too long, as well as upgrading all his other crafting tools. After completing those essential items, it would spend most of its ti forging high-tier alloys for future projects and feeding the spirit vein.
Since Xiang Yu didn’t want multiple versions of himself wandering around publicly where people might notice, he decided the water clone would serve as his main public figure. It would be the one teaching classes in the secondary professions pavilion and handling the dicine profession duties.
The wood clone received the farming profession assignnt—planting, harvesting, expanding the cultivation areas, applying growth boosts, and everything else related to agriculture. He expected the produce to soar dramatically since this clone would be working around the clock without needing rest. If he could keep this pace up and maybe upgrade the spirit vein two more tis, the sect might even beco completely self-sustainable.
The earth clone was assigned to the formation master profession. Its job would be producing formations continuously throughout each day and night. It would start by creating third-grade defensive and attacking formations for the sect’s protection. After that, it would also produce a dedicated qi gathering formation to increase the qi concentration in the sect even more thus increasing the sect’s overall cultivation speed.
It would also create a dedicated concealnt formation, and a dedicated healing formation that would create passive healing effects throughout the entire sect.
Although he felt this healing formation might reduce the demand for his dicine services, he didn’t think it was much of a problem. At his current dicine level, he wouldn’t gain much experience treating minor injuries anyway. He would now focus mainly on injuries that couldn’t be cured through normal healing thods—like cultivation complications, which were becoming surprisingly common.
Ever since he started treating people regularly, the disciples seed to be getting more experintal with their training. With pills circulating freely in the sect and him available to treat anything that went wrong, they had nothing to fear and could explore their limits freely. Xiang Yu didn’t dislike this developnt at all. He felt this was how cultivation should be—bold and fearless. (without applying to him of course)
The disciples were even beginning to produce genuine geniuses. Many core and personal disciples were breaking through to the Core Formation realm, and even so elders were showing signs of advancing after being stagnant for decades. After the wedding celebration, Xiang Yu had given special gifts to the Grand Elder, and they probably weren’t far from breaking through to the Golden Core realm either.
The lightning clone was assigned the runesmith profession. It would be placing enhancent runes on every item produced by the tal clone. The empress had already assured him that she had established a protective barrier around their area, so he could craft as many divine weapons as he wanted—he just needed sufficient materials. The runesmith clone would also draw runes for defense, regeneration, attack, concealnt, and qi gathering on the new formations.
The upgraded third-grade formations should be able to handle an additional rune slot, so he decided to go with attack runes for extra firepower. For this, he would naturally choose the OG explosion rune that everyone loved. With every formation enhanced by these five runes and nested properly together, their sect could genuinely be considered a cultivation heaven.
Xiang Yu could hardly contain his excitent thinking about the results once everything ca together.

The ice clone would be assigned the role of cook. Xiang Yu would still personally prepare als for himself, his junior sister, martial aunt, and master, but now he would also have a dedicated cooking clone working around the clock. This clone’s primary responsibility was mass production of food items on an industrial scale.
That’s right—his dream was finally going to co true. He was opening up a fast-food restaurant in another world.
"Hmm, why does that sound like a novel I’ve read before?"
The plan was simple. The ice clone would mass produce various dishes, store them properly using preservation techniques, and then employ so of the outer disciples to start shipping these als across the entire continent. This was sothing he had been thinking about for quite a while, so he already had everything carefully planned out in his head down to the smallest details.
He would even have his tal clone create dedicated flying carriages specifically designed for food delivery services. The ingredients for these als were incredibly cheap to acquire, especially with his wood clone handling agriculture—he was practically losing money by not investing in this business opportunity. The profit margins would be enormous once everything got rolling.
He could then use all that incoming revenue to reinvest in his other professions, purchasing rare materials and upgrading equipnt.
"Am I a genius or what?"
For the fire clone, he assigned it the alchemy profession. It would be mass-producing pills throughout every day and night without rest. Since they didn’t have access to any high-level materials beyond the rare fifth-grade commission work, the production wouldn’t be too challenging with his current third-grade alchemy skills.
The only remaining clones were wind and light, and the only remaining profession was appraisal. Xiang Yu didn’t think there was any need to assign a dedicated clone specifically for appraisal, that would be a waste of valuable manpower.
Instead, he had the wind clone assist the tal clone with blacksmithing tasks for now, at least until he found a more suitable long-term assignnt for it. For the imdiate future, it would take up the specific job of continuously upgrading and maintaining the spirit vein.
As for the remaining light clone, it would be dedicated entirely to research activities. It would stay in constant ditation, studying and analyzing techniques, scriptures, and theoretical cultivation concepts. Xiang Yu also assigned it a side mission which was studying sothing he desperately wanted to grasp—the ti domain.
