He cleared his throat.
"You guessed correctly," he said. "As expected of you. I was indeed injured."
Roselle’s tail began wagging excitedly behind her.
"Unfortunately," he continued, "I haven’t recovered my true strength yet."
This group is dangerous. Since they don’t seem to want to let go of , it’s best I embrace the role of their lord anyway. Otherwise, if they really figure out they worshiped the wrong god... they might get rid of to atone.
Their true lord is dead anyway. She wouldn’t find fault with , right?
"I have only recovered a small portion of my strength," he added.
Roselle’s expression shifted to one of worry.
"Is there any way I could help, my Lord?"
He smiled.
"Of course. You can help by following my orders."
He paused, letting the words settle.
"I want to build a prosperous village where my people can live well. When my people are well, I am well."
Roselle’s eyes seed to glow with reverence.
"As expected of the Lord! How magnanimous!"
He looked to the side.
Well... I’m saying this so she’ll help and stop being so stubborn.
"Continue clearing the forest as I instructed earlier," he ordered. "Use the trees to build houses, just as I taught you. For the cleared land, gather so people to till the soil."
He paused.
"Also, bring everything you were planting before. I’ll look into it."
Roselle pressed her forehead to the ground.
"This servant obeys."
Then she rose and departed.
...
Now it was just Lunaris and Luna left in the church.
He looked at her. He had figured out a solution to her problem - and it was going to help him solve so of his own issues as well.
"Luna, sit down," he said, guiding her to the floor.
"Okay, Dad."
He sat opposite her and closed his eyes, concentrating.
After awakening Mana Field, he had realized sothing.
The skill created a zone of condensed mana that he could use as a field of vision. This allowed his mana manipulation to be contained. While it was a little restrictive, it was far more manageable.
He could see much clearer within that limited range compared to the endless reach of mana manipulation, which could be disrupted by rogue mana particles.
That being said, it wasn’t completely flawless. He guessed he would still be fooled by powerful entities like the Spirit Queen. It also carried the fault of its predecessor - that is, constantly broadcasting his location to anyone listening.
That was why he needed a more permanent solution.
He concentrated on his storage.
The way his storage worked wasn’t through mana. Well, mana determined the size, but beyond that, storage was a separate form of being. Inside the storage, he was completely aware of the space within - everything, without any senses.
If he could project this outward like his other abilities - Rapid Regeneration, Appraisal - he might finally achieve perfect vision. One that didn’t rely heavily on mana and couldn’t be easily disrupted. Unless soone could manipulate space itself, but at that point, if he was facing such an opponent, being able to see them wouldn’t change much.
He focused all his processing power on the storage skill and tried drawing it out.
Just like with his other skills, he deconstructed every possible part of it and slowly began projecting it outward.
Unlike the previous skills, this one was extrely difficult to grasp. Even with all his cognitive abilities, he was still running out of juice.
This continued for several minutes as he continuously pushed himself to the limit.
Then...
Sothing snapped into place within him.
His thoughts cleared.
This is...
He felt it. His Thought Acceleration had improved again. And this ti, it had straight up doubled. From 250x all the way to 500x.
The jump was quite steep. He wondered if this was because Infinite Adaptation had absorbed the legacy of the moon.
Well, this was a good thing.
Besides the increase in Thought Acceleration, his number of parallel threads had doubled too.
With the new processing power, he was able to bridge the gap and finally bring out the storage.
Suddenly, he felt his awareness of the storage explode outward.

Skill rge: Mana Field Spatial Awareness → Spatial Domain
Suddenly, a sharp pain pierced through him.
His body instantly reverted to his sli state. His form began convulsing violently, rippling and distorting.
"Dad?! Dad!" Luna’s voice was filled with panic. She reached for him, her hands trembling.
Internally, Lunaris found himself in an extrely dangerous situation.
I’m going to die.
He had miscalculated.
Now that he had expanded his ability outward, just like how he was hyper-aware of space around the storage within him, he was now hyper-aware of space outside his storage within the projected range.
The only problem...
Unlike space inside his storage, space outside was NOT empty.
That’s right. Unlike the vacuum inside him, this space was filled with matter. The air. The earth. Mana. And all other things that made it up.
And since he had space-level awareness, all of this was rendered as extrely detailed polygons - down to the level of atoms being exposed to his perception.
This was pushing his awareness to the absolute limit.
The sheer level of information attacking his mind was simply too much. He could barely hold a rational thought. And he was burning through his mana at an insane rate. Shortly, he would run out and start burning through his mass.
And then he would die.
He had been too careless.
Suddenly, he felt a familiar sensation.
This is...
That’s right. It was Infinite Adaptation.
He was adapting rapidly through enduring.
He felt his Thought Acceleration jump.
600x.
800x.
1000x.
Sa for his threads. But this ti, they didn’t just double - they continued increasing, seemingly endlessly.
Then he realized sothing.
He no longer had a limit.
Well, he still relied on mana, so it was best not to create too many threads.
What am I even thinking?
He took advantage of this short mont of relief before the newly gained processing power beca overwheld and made so readjustnts.
He compressed the Spatial Domain, restraining it to just ten ters.
Unlike the earlier limitlessly expanding one, this was much more manageable. With this short distance - even though impractical - he should be able to grow used to it and expand slowly over ti.
