In the first-floor hall, Nangong Xuan looked rather forlornly towards the second floor, then found a lonely corner to sit down.
This engagent party was just an excuse for him to return to the country, being a part of it or not made no difference to him.
A minute before the engagent party began, Lu Jincheng finally showed up fashionably late.

Lu Jincheng pinched his brow, motioning for him to go first.
Ever since Lu Jincheng walked towards Lu Jinyang, Han Shiwen had been watching them closely. Seeing them walk towards her now, her heart was pounding. Yes, it was ti to announce the engagent!
But the next second, Han Shiwen’s smile stiffened on her face because Lu Jinyang and his son walked right past her and went upstairs.
They just... walked past her... and left?!

Leng Shuangshuang, browsing the news, lifted her head at Leng Senyan’s words, "What’s up?"
"Jincheng hasn’t shown up yet." With that, he showed Leng Shuangshuang the ti.
She smirked slightly, "Let’s just wait and eat, the rest is out of our hands." Saying that, she returned her gaze to her phone.
However, Leng Senyan took her phone seriously and looked at her, "Sis, are you sure you don’t want to intervene? If the engagent goes through, and you stay with Jincheng, people will talk."
Seeing Leng Shuangshuang not respond, he added, "I don’t want people to gossip about you. Sis, weren’t you and Jincheng doing fine? Why is he suddenly engaged to soone else?"
Indeed, why?
Leng Shuangshuang’s eyes flickered, recalling the incident from three months ago.
