The man’s low voice sounded, and Zhuang Shuqing was taken aback. She rummaged through her bag, took out her cellphone, and saw it was out of power.
She handed the phone to Lu Jinyang, "It’s out of battery."
Lu Jinyang didn’t even open his eyes, "Have you eaten?"
"Yeah."
"With the person who sent you flowers today?"
Zhuang Shuqing’s eyebrows knotted, "No, with my best friend."
Finally, he opened his eyes slowly and looked at her, "Is your hand better now?"
"Yeah."
"I’m hungry."
"..."
Damn, were all these questions just to say this final sentence?
Zhuang Shuqing felt extrely frustrated. She silently put down her bag, walked to the kitchen, took out noodles from the fridge, but before even the water boiled, she heard the man in the living room speak again: "I don’t like noodles."

Taking a deep breath, she put down the noodles, saw so leftover rice in the fridge, took it out, and decided to make egg fried rice with two eggs. Luckily, no sound ca from the living room this ti.
Soon after, she brought the fragrant egg fried rice to the living room, only to hear Lu Jinyang end a phone call and rush out the door.
Zhuang Shuqing couldn’t help but wonder, was Lu Jinyang just playing with her?
Resigned, she took the egg fried rice back to the kitchen, planning to save it in the fridge for tomorrow’s breakfast, but just as she did, the just-departed Lu Jinyang ca back.

Before Zhuang Shuqing could react, Lu Jinyang had dragged her into the elevator, leaving Zhuang Shuqing puzzled as she looked at Lu Jinyang, "Where are you taking ?"
"You’ll know when we get there."
Clearly, he didn’t want to say.

Zhuang Shuqing followed Lu Jinyang into a luxurious private room. From the ti they got out of the car till now, he had been holding her hand until they sat down and he finally let go.

Zhuang Shuqing looked up upon hearing this, only to see Li Yan watching Lu Jinyang with a smirk, she then lowered her head again.
However, Lu Jinyang paid him no mind and said coldly, "Where are they?"
"No rush, you’ll know once they co out."
Seeing it had nothing to do with her, she spared no courtesy and picked up a glass of red wine from the table and downed it in one go.
She hadn’t had a chance to drink a sip of water since coming back outside before Lu Jinyang commanded her to cook. After the food was ready, he whisked her away again. In this sweltering heat, she was seriously dehydrated.
After drinking, Zhuang Shuqing suddenly realized it wasn’t red juice but red wine! A burning sensation arose in her stomach, Zhuang Shuqing furrowed her brows, regretting her rush to drink.
She rarely touched alcohol because she got drunk easily.
She had a major drunk episode three years ago and had not touched alcohol since then.
