Unsure whether it was a hallucination, he suddenly saw Xiao Qing appear before him. Regardless of whether this was real or not, Lu Jinyang used all his strength to utter a few words, "Find Li Yan~" before passing out, unable to endure any longer.

When he opened his eyes again, Lu Jinyang saw the glaring light of the ceiling. He squinted and took a mont to adjust, raising his hand to shield his eyes from the brightness.
"Awake?"
Turning his head, he was t with Xiao Qing’s swollen eyes and her concerned gaze.
Lu Jinyang’s heart suddenly skipped a beat, realizing there was likely no way to keep this concealed.
He cald his mind and said, "I’m fine, don’t worry."
Thinking it would be fine not to say anything, the mont he spoke, tears welled up in Xiao Qing’s eyes. "In this state, you’re still saying you’re fine..."
If she hadn’t happened upon this scene by chance, would he have kept it hidden for a lifeti? The very thought of him bearing such a burden alone made Xiao Qing’s heart ache.
Seeing this, Lu Jinyang sighed helplessly, "Li Yan told you everything?"
"Yes. Lu Jinyang, I’ll forgive you this ti, but if it happens again, I’ll take the kids and leave for a place you can’t find us!" Xiao Qing said, tears flowing more fiercely.
He quickly sat up, pulling her into his arms, silently soothing her emotions.
After a long while, she finally stopped crying but continued to sniffle.
Looking at her red and swollen eyes, Lu Jinyang teased, "If the kids saw this, they’d think I bullied you."
"You did bully !" Xiao Qing retorted without hesitation, clearly blaming him, and no matter who asked, she insisted he bullied her.
Feeling helpless yet indulgent, he said, "Okay, okay, I bullied you."

Outside the hospital room, Li Yan watched the two people being affectionate inside, and couldn’t help but touch his nose.
They’re both middle-aged, yet act like flirtatious children, making one feel goosebumps just watching. However, his wife recently hasn’t been paying much attention to him. Maybe he could borrow Lu Jinyang’s trick to coax his own wife at ho.
He stood for a while, and seeing the two finally separate, he opened the door and walked in, his first words were; "Congratulations, President Lu, this episode lasted a good half month since the last one. If you keep working hard, you’ll win this."

Li Yan wished he’d said sothing like that earlier, instantly sending a look of self-preservation before turning to leave.
