She hadn’t walked far when Xiao Qing heard soone calling her from behind. She turned and saw Xiao Anze, who had apparently co out and was walking toward her.
She turned around and greeted him, "Brother, isn’t the ward over there? Why are you coming from this direction?" Xiao Qing pointed towards the direction behind her.
Xiao Anze glanced behind her and shook his head, "You rembered it wrong. Co with ."
"Oh." She followed him back, "Brother, has Sister Yang Qiao woken up?"
"Hmm, she just fell asleep a little while ago."
Xiao Qing silently nodded, probably exhausted from crying.
Xiao Anze escorted Xiao Qing to the ward and then left, asking her to wait for him to co back, which she agreed to.
In the hospital bed, Yang Qiao slept quietly, her pale yet serene face evoking a sense of pity in Xiao Qing. She sat down by the bed, looked at Yang Qiao again, but found her staring back at her with wide eyes.
The person who should have been asleep suddenly opened her eyes, scaring Xiao Qing so much that she gasped and then said, "Sister Yang Qiao, you aren’t asleep?"
"Hmm."
Yang Qiao so openly admitted her insomnia that Xiao Qing was at a loss for words for a mont.
After a while, Yang Qiao spoke, "Xiao Qing, do a favor."
Xiao Qing suddenly had a bad feeling, "What favor?"
"I want to go back to the Empire, but I don’t want your brother to know."
Xiao Qing stayed silent.
Seeing her bow her head in silence, Yang Qiao tugged at the corner of her mouth, mocking, "I’m really foolish, expecting his sister to assist with this, how could it possibly..."
"Okay."
Yang Qiao thought she was hallucinating when she abruptly heard the response.
Xiao Qing, afraid she hadn’t heard clearly, repeated, "Okay, I can help you, but you have to tell why."
Why?
Yang Qiao smiled bitterly, "I don’t want my second child to leave again before I even have the chance to discover it."
"It won’t happen, Sister Yang Qiao, my brother won’t let what happened this ti happen again, you have to believe him."

"Are you asking if I will still be with Xiao Anze if I leave?"
Xiao Qing nodded vigorously.
After thinking for a mont, Yang Qiao said, "I don’t want to lie to you. After I leave, I won’t be with him again. If you can’t accept that, I will find soone else to help."
Xiao Qing was stunned, not expecting such an outco.
She suddenly couldn’t understand Yang Qiao’s intentions.
Yang Qiao loved Xiao Anze, that was certain, otherwise why would she spend nine years unacknowledged by his side?
But if she loved him, why would she want to leave him? Shouldn’t she be facing the future together with him?
"Xiao Qing, do you love Lu Jinyang?" Yang Qiao suddenly asked Xiao Qing.
Xiao Qing was baffled by the question, unable to grasp it at first, and when she did, she felt confused.
