Gu Li blinked, her eyes rimd red, looking at him pitifully like a red-eyed white rabbit.
Gu Chen’s heart softened imdiately, he took a deep breath and gently asked, "Stopped crying?"
As he spoke, tears started falling from Gu Li’s eyes again, alarming Gu Chen.
He stared at her for a long while, then suddenly stood up, walked to the bar, and quickly returned with a cup of water in his hand.
He placed the water in front of her and said softly, "Drink this, hydrate yourself."
At that mont, Gu Li’s heart was collapsing.
Under such circumstances, she couldn’t cry anymore, so she simply wiped her tears, took the cup from Gu Chen’s hand and downed it in one gulp.
"Are you okay now? If you’re okay, I’ll go to work."
As soon as she finished speaking, she walked to the entryway to change shoes without waiting for Gu Chen’s response.
Just as she finished putting on her shoes, she saw Gu Chen coming over to change his shoes too, and she angrily said, "I don’t need you to take to the office!"
Gu Chen glanced at her indifferently, "It’s the weekend today."

Gu Chen considerately grabbed her bag and car keys, "Let’s go, I’ll take you sowhere."

Hearing about food, Xiaobao’s eyes lit up, about to nod, but then Xiao Qing called out, "Xiaobao!"
Hearing that, Xiaobao’s eyes imdiately dimd.
Si Nanchen gave Xiao Qing a reproachful look, then continued to Xiaobao, "Uncle and your mommy are good friends, so it’s okay."
