Days like this repeat over and over, every day she lived like a walking corpse, either selling smiles or selling her body.
The car drove for more than half an hour before coming to a stop.

Ning Qian’s head was terribly groggy; she didn’t even glance outside, paid the fare, opened the door, and got out of the car.

One underling, overwheld by the pressure but not daring to show it in front of Ning Qian, moved with the other to the prepared house next door.
