Under normal circumstances, she wouldn’t invite anyone for a al, but Qin Huaixin was her only guest, and now, there was one more.

Lu Jinyang’s eyes flickered with surprise, "You can cook?"

"Nonsense! If I couldn’t cook, how could I have survived all these years on gutter oil!"

He was stunned for a mont, watching her change her expression in a second, his mouth curled up slightly: "How do you know it’s definitely gutter oil?"

"Do I even need to say it? It’s all those unscrupulous rchants!"

Seeing that the man was not moving, she hurriedly urged, "Hurry up and go... what are you doing?"

Zhuang Shuqing’s eyes widened as he took one bag after another from her hands, astonishingly surprised.

This man, who seed as cold as an iceberg and unapproachable, was actually doing such a thing!

In her daze, the man had already walked to the staircase. She snapped back to her senses and hurriedly ran after him.

As soon as they entered the house, Zhuang Shuqing pointed to the kitchen, "Just put the groceries there. Wait for for an hour, it’ll be quick."

He did as told, placed the groceries inside, then ca out. The woman, now wearing an apron, ca over and pointed to the remote on the table, "You can watch so TV for a while."

Zhuang Shuqing went into the kitchen, and soon, busy sounds ca from the kitchen.

Lu Jinyang sat on the couch, able to see her bustling figure, and as she skillfully handled various ingredients, a very faint, unusual feeling arose in his heart.

He slowly retracted his gaze and turned on the military channel.

Half an hour passed, the aroma of the food wafted from the kitchen, and Lu Jinyang, who had just had breakfast not long ago, surprisingly felt a bit hungry.

Another fifteen minutes passed, Zhuang Shuqing’s voice ca from the kitchen, "Mr. Lu, could you help bring out the dishes? I can’t leave here..."

As she spoke, Zhuang Shuqing felt sowhat embarrassed since her kitchen was a bit small and there was no place to put the dishes once they were cooked.

She didn’t hear his reply, and as she looked out, a "wall of flesh" stood in front of her, giving her a huge fright.

"Where is it?"

"Here, these three dishes and a soup, and once the pot is ready, we can have dinner."

Following her gaze, he saw several dishes with appealing colors, just unsure of the taste yet.

Not long after Lu Jinyang carried out the dishes, Zhuang Shuqing brought the last dish over, then went back to the kitchen to bring out two bowls of rice and handed one to him.

"Eat."

After being busy all morning, Zhuang Shuqing was starving, the hunger making her back stick to her stomach. She didn’t care whether the man across her was eating or not, she scooped herself a bowl of soup first.

After gulping down a bowl, Zhuang Shuqing finally felt revived.

She looked again at the man in front of her who hadn’t touched the chopsticks, puzzled, she asked, "Doesn’t it suit your taste?"

Lu Jinyang deeply looked at her with his dark eyes, gracefully picked up a piece of stead rib and put it in his mouth. Seeing this, Zhuang Shuqing breathed a sigh of relief.

Throughout the al, Lu Jinyang adhered to the principle of not speaking during als. He didn’t say a word. His eating was elegant and quick, it was only after finishing the al that she realized only a third of the dishes were left on the table.

After the al, Zhuang Shuqing cleaned up the table and went back to the kitchen, hardly believing that she had gotten along "peacefully" with this man for such a long ti. Now, she stood in the living room, feeling a bit hesitant to go back there.

Perhaps not hearing any noise from the kitchen, a cool male voice ca from the living room, "Co here."

She took a deep breath and walked into the living room, only to see him placing a red booklet on the table.

"Marriage certificate, keep it safe."

"What?"

Thinking she had heard wrong, Zhuang Shuqing blinked her eyes and looked at the three big characters on the red booklet on the table: Marriage Certificate.
