"I heard from your husband that you were here, so I ca to check on you." Qin Huaixin glanced at Lu Xiao from the corner of her eye and noticed his keen interest in watching the two of them.
She flared up inexplicably, "Lu Xiao, with the man of the house not around, what are your intentions coming to his wife’s ward alone?"
Lu Xiao turned around, gently laughing, "Oh, I’d almost forgotten; back in the day, we were in a relationship with marriage in mind."
