The words struck a chord in the hearts of the elderly couple, and they exchanged glances, their attitudes slightly softened.

"Nonsense!" Jiang Fu feigned anger, "You are my son, no one knows you better than I do."
Si Nanchen chuckled, "Maybe you’ve always just thought you understood very well."
While he spoke, he looked earnestly at Jiang Fu, and for a mont she almost thought he was serious with his words.
But the next mont, Si Nanchen resud his lazy deanor, stood up, and said, "It’s getting late, I’ll co over again tomorrow, you should rest early."
As soon as Si Nanchen left, Jiang Fu imdiately panicked.
"Nuomin, does Nanchen already know about that thing I did three years ago?"
Si Nuomin’s expression imdiately darkened, "Why are you panicking? Just wait and see. Besides, you really can’t figure out your son’s true character, better to say less."
Jiang Fu was taken aback by Si Nuomin’s words, her face painted with a delicate makeup showing embarrassnt.
