Unfortunately, Zhuang Shuqing pretended not to understand even though she did.
The Bentley slowly drove into Jinxiu Garden. From a distance, Zhuang Shuqing spotted a familiar figure pacing by the gate. Her heart clenched tight, and she instinctively looked towards the man beside her.
The exquisitely sculpted features of the man’s face showed no emotion. She turned her face away, automatically ignoring that figure.
However, the mont the Bentley entered Jinxiu Garden, through the rearview mirror, she saw that figure chasing after them.
Turning her head to look at the man beside her, she clearly saw Lu Jinyang’s expression turning colder.
Zhuang Shuqing imdiately averted her gaze, thinking as long as Lu Jinyang didn’t bother with that person, it would be pointless even if he caught up.
Suddenly, the car stopped. Zhuang Shuqing, struck like lightning, watched Lu Jinyang unbuckle his seatbelt, get out of the car, and walk towards the man who had caught up.
Without thinking any further, Zhuang Shuqing imdiately unbuckled her seatbelt and followed him out of the car.
Lu Jinyang walked past the man towards the security booth. In no ti, two security guards were following behind him as they walked back.
The security guards stopped in front of the man and politely said, "Sir, please co with us."
What?
Si Nanchen was panting and almost didn’t catch his breath upon hearing the security guard’s words.
What did they an by asking him to co with them?
It sounded as if he had committed a cri.
Si Nanchen ignored the two security guards. Seeing Zhuang Shuqing looking his way, he imdiately waved at her, "Shuqing, it’s , Nanchen~"
With that, he waved his hand and started running towards Zhuang Shuqing, only to have his step abruptly stopped by a hand.
"What’s going on with you guys? Can’t you see my friend over there?"
Si Nanchen’s eyebrows furrowed into a frown.
Hearing this, the security quickly glanced at Lu Jinyang not far away, then said to Si Nanchen, "Sorry, but the lady did not respond to you. If you don’t leave now, we will imdiately call the police."
Si Nanchen: "..."
He glared fiercely at the restarting car, and angrily said to the security guard, "You’ve ruined everything, do you know that! Hmph!"
No longer entangled with the security guards, he turned and walked away.
Has anyone been as miserable as him?
The mont he saw the news in the morning, he used various channels to look for Zhuang Shuqing. When he found out she was living in Jinxiu Garden, he ran over without thinking.
Thinking about it now, how could Zhuang Shuqing afford a place like Jinxiu Garden? She must be living with Lu Jinyang.
At the entrance of Jinxiu Garden, Si Nanchen clenched his fist tightly, grinding his teeth.
The phone in his hand rang, and he glanced at the caller ID. The sinister look in his eyes quickly faded, and his emotions were no longer apparent.
"Hello~"
"..."
"Alright, I know. I’ll co back once I’m done with things here."
After hanging up, his thoughts drifted off.
Three years ago, he left the Empire due to illness; back then, he and Zhuang Shuqing had just gotten together... Three years later, he returned to find her married as soone else’s wife, and what shocked him was that she treated him as a stranger. Could sothing have happened in between that he was unaware of?
With that thought, he dialed a number, "Check for the events that happened after I left three years ago..."

Upon returning ho, Zhuang Shuqing imdiately ran to her room to change into her ho clothes, feeling much more relaxed.
Lu Jinyang glanced at her clothes but said nothing.
Zhuang Shuqing sat opposite him, reopening the news article on the table between them, "Now we need to resolve this issue."
