Just then, the woman living opposite Zhuang Shuqing ca back and saw Si Nanchen staring blankly at the door. She couldn’t help but remind him, "Handso guy, the person living here hasn’t been back for a long ti. Who are you to him?"
Si Nanchen glanced over, saw a flash of surprise in the woman’s eyes, and then turned away with disgust, leaving.
But the voice behind him didn’t stop because he had left. The woman continued, "It seems like she’s been kept by soone, she hasn’t been ho for over a month. Who are you to her? When she cos back, I’ll let her know..."
What she said next, Si Nanchen didn’t catch clearly. Won like her who wanted to hook up with him after just one glance at his appearance, he couldn’t even bear to look at.
Back in the car, Si Nanchen thought for a long ti but still couldn’t figure out where Zhuang Shuqing might have gone. The worst part was that he currently had no power of his own in the country, and even finding soone was extrely troubleso.
This made him even more determined to speed up his expansion into the dostic market.

The autumn sun shone through the window onto the big bed, and Zhuang Shuqing slowly opened her eyes, abruptly eting a pair of bright, ink-black eyes. She was taken aback and imdiately shifted to the side.
When she realized that she was lying on a bed rather than on the floor, a flicker of embarrassnt crossed her face.
"I’m sorry, I must have been too tired. I didn’t realize I had moved onto the bed."
She got up from the bed, but then she heard the man’s magnetic and steady voice from behind her.
"There’s no need to apologize. It was I who carried you up here."
"..."
"Don’t sleep on the floor anymore, sleep on the bed."
After a mont of silence, Zhuang Shuqing finally nodded.
Before, she didn’t understand that feeling of letting Lu Jinyang take advantage and yet not being able to get angry, but the mont he appeared in front of her yesterday, Zhuang Shuqing understood that it was because she had him in her heart.
How could she truly be angry at soone who lived in her heart?
With this realization, many of her actions from the previous day made sense.
As an orphan with nobody to rely on, as soone who had to fend for herself and not burden others, she would never allow herself to experience the feeling of depending on soone else.
She was afraid—afraid that if she depended wholeheartedly on soone, and that person suddenly left, what should she do?
Thinking of Si Nanchen’s death three years ago, her heart churned with an exceptionally intense emotion.
Noticing that she was wrong, Lu Jinyang furrowed his eyebrows, "What’s wrong?"
She didn’t answer, and Lu Jinyang leaned in closer behind her, trying to pull her over. However, before he realized what was happening, he was tackled onto the bed by a figure.
Lu Jinyang raised an eyebrow in surprise, listening to the woman on top of him say in a muffled voice, "Lu Jinyang, I won’t let Xiaoxuan die before us."
He was perplexed, not understanding why she would suddenly bring up the word "die".
But her next words left him montarily at a loss for how to react.
She said, "Lu Jinyang, it’s clearly written on our marriage agreent that our marriage is to last until Xiaoxuan dies. But what should I do, I want our marriage to last forever. What do you think I should do?"
She asked him, what should she do?
Lu Jinyang suddenly laughed, "If you don’t want to keep it up, I’ll go find soone to take care of that kid right now."
Zhuang Shuqing: "..."
A perfectly good confession, yet coming out of his mouth, it turned into sothing so bloody.
She punched him indignantly on the shoulder, wishing she could take a bite out of him.
