Suddenly, soone darted out in front, and she slamd on the brakes, but it was too late.
The car hit an unknown object. A loud crash emanated from the car body, and then, the car ca to a stop.
In the driver’s seat, Zhuang Shuqing frantically unbuckled her seatbelt, ignoring the gash on her forehead from hitting the steering wheel as she scrambled out of the car.
After circling the car, she finally saw the unconscious person lying under the car, motionless, with blood all around.
Zhuang Shuqing stood trembling on the spot, unsure of how to react.
The sound of police sirens grew closer, eventually stopping next to her car...
She didn’t know how she ended up at the police station, nor when handcuffs had been placed on her hands.
Facing the police officer taking her statent, Zhuang Shuqing’s lips were tightly sealed, bloodless, and she didn’t utter a word no matter how they asked.
Was there any point in explaining?
The person lay under her car, bloodied, with the surveillance cara as proof. What could she say?
The door opened, a police officer ca in, whispered a few words to the officer sitting opposite her, and she clearly saw the deepening look in that officer’s eyes directed at her.

The situation was probably related to the person lying under her car.

The room went silent.
"I suggest you call a lawyer; perhaps you can get a lighter sentence."
After saying that, the police had Zhuang Shuqing taken away.
