Back at Sera’s house, the living room was filled with the guests who ca to visit the place.
Sera’s mother was sitting on the single-seat sofa, and the rest of the people were sitting on the long and wide sofa, which was made of leather.
In front of the people sitting, there was a rectangular glass table.
It had a flower vase, and a few magazines were resting on its surface.
There was also a television mounted on the wall.
Its screen was showing a variety show, and its volu was low.
"So, did you get here safely? You must be tired."
Sera’s father, who was also sitting on the single-seat sofa right in front of his wife, inquired, and his tone was considerate.
His short, curly black hair was slightly gray, and his eyes were the sa color as his daughter’s, purple as the evening sky.
He was wearing a dark green polo shirt and a pair of dark blue trousers.
"Yes, Uncle Victor, we arrived here without any problems," the guest, who was sitting on the right side of the leather sofa, replied, and his voice was polite.
This guest, Sera’s cousin, was a young man, and his black hair was neatly combed to the back, exposing his forehead.
He was also wearing a pair of glasses, speaking of his studious nature and refined personality.
He had a clean-shaven face, and his jawline was prominent.
His features were refined, and his expression was pleasant, with a charming smile and a warm aura.
His appearance was similar to his father, who was sitting right next to him, with his wife.
The two, father and son, were wearing almost the sa clothes, and their shirts had the sa color.
The only difference was the slight variation in the design.
The young man’s father was the brother of Sera’s mother, and his na was Edward.
"I am glad to hear that everything went well, Oliver," Grace, Sera’s mother, interjected, and her tone was kind.
Oliver was the na of Sera’s cousin, the glasses-wearing young man, who was sipping the drink from his cup.
"Yeah Auntie, there were no difficulties on the way," Oliver concurred, and his tone was calm.
"By the way, Auntie, where is..." he paused, and his voice trailed off.
"Where is what?" Grace inquired, and her voice was gentle.
She looked at her nephew’s face, and her eyes were focused on his expression.
"Where is your daughter... Ahem, I an, Sera, ahem, ahem," Oliver’s voice was awkward, and his words were stamring.
"Oh, Sera? Don’t worry, she will be ho soon," Grace inford, and her voice was soothing.
"Huh, is she not here?" Oliver’s eyes shifted secretly to the empty kitchen right beside the living room.
’I thought she was in the kitchen, and she is also the one who made this coffee,’ he whispered in his mind as he brightened his eyes back to the cup in his hand.
’Ahh, I drank it thinking that she was the one who made it,’ Oliver thought, and a remorseful sigh escaped from his lips.
"Also, there is soone we want to introduce to you," Sera’s mother continued, and her voice was calm.
"Introduce soone?" Oliver’s eyes shifted to Sera’s father, and he noticed a small smile appearing on his face.
’Uncle Victor is smiling,’
’Who can it be?’ His forehead creased, and his thoughts were confused.
’Soone who can make Uncle Victor smile like this,’ A slight pain could be felt in his heart, and his thoughts were envious.
’Only Sera can make Uncle Victor smile like this...’
’And, now he is smiling at the ntion of soone,’ Oliver’s expression was conflicted, he didn’t know what to think or how to react.
’Just who the hell is this person?’
’I hope it isn’t the one I think it is,’ As he was lost in thought, the touch of his father’s hand on his thigh was felt, and the sound of his voice was heard.
"Seems like you have already lost the battle, son." Edward brought his right hand near his mouth and whispered in his son’s ear.
’No, no, no, no,’ Oliver shook his head, and his thoughts were firm.
’No, it can’t be,’ He placed the cup on the saucer and placed it on the table, and his expression turned back to normal.
"Hmph," Oliver puffed, and his expression was haughty.
’I know it is just a foreplay. Both Uncle Victor and Aunt Grace, even my father are trying to ss with ,’ He raised his hand and repositioned his glasses, adjusting them on his nose.
’I will not be provoked by them,’
’I am smarter than that,’
"Well, let us et this person," he stated, and his tone was casual.
"Okay," His aunt agreed, and her voice was soft.
’There is no way a girl who has never kissed anyone is dating soone right now,’
’That is impossible, it must be a female friend of Sera’s, Uncle and Auntie want us to et,’
’That is the only possibility,’
Oliver’s mind was full of delusion, and his thoughts were oblivious.
’I just need to act a bit arrogant and pretend like I am not interested, and then Uncle and Aunt will realize their mistake,’
’And, I will take revenge on them for playing with my emotions,’
Oliver’s lips curved upwards, and a mischievous smile appeared on his face.
’Just you wait,’
As Oliver was plotting his revenge, which was never going to co, Sera’s mother’s voice pulled him out of his fantasy.
"Let’s wait for Sera and him to co," Grace spoke, and a warm smile was visible on her face.
’Him?!’ Oliver subconsciously turned his head to the right, and his gaze fell on his aunt’s face.
’It is a him, not a her?’ His eyes were wide open and his jaw was slightly agape.
At the sa ti, outside the house, a shining black car could be seen from a distance.
This car was slowly approaching Sera’s house, and its speed was moderate.
After a few monts, the car ca to a stop.
As the engine shut off, the sound of the door being opened was heard.
The door of the driver’s seat was opened, and Leo erged from the car.
’We have finally arrived,’ Leo thought as he pushed the door shut.
After that, he buttoned his suit, which he had unbuttoned before getting in the car.
As his hands finished adjusting the buttons of his black coat, Leo turned around and opened the rear door of the car.
From within the vehicle, Rael, wearing a black tuxedo and a pair of black shoes, ca out.
He erged from the car, and Leo closed the door.
Rael was standing there, in front of the car. Half of his silver hair was tied back in a black rubber band, and the front half was loose, freely swaying in front of his forehead and at the side of his ears.
"I guess we are here, huh," Rael comnted, as he gazed down at the door before him.
"Yes, Mister Rael, we have arrived at last. With all the traffic and quick costu change, I didn’t think we’d ever make it." Leo replied as he glanced down at the watch on his wrist.
It was 6:04 P.M.
"But, thankfully, we’re still early, and we managed to arrive in ti." He continued, and his voice was courteous.
"There are still 11 minutes remaining from the ti Aunt Grace said to co here," he added, and his tone was considerate.
"Hmm," Rael didn’t say anything and only responded with a slight nod.
"By the way, Sir," Leo began, and his voice was polite.
"Why aren’t you opening the door for Miss Sera?" he inquired, and his tone was casual.
"Oh," Rael replied, and his voice was indifferent.
He leaned in closer to Leo and began to speak at low volu.
"I thought you were the one who was going to do that since she is your boss," he explained to Leo.
"No, it is your responsibility to open the door for Miss Sera," Leo argued, but his tone was still respectful.
He was looking straight into Rael’s eyes, and his gaze was piercing.
"After all, you are her boyfriend," Leo continued, and the words he spoke were sincere.
"You should show your affection towards her in such simple ways." He advised.
"But, why didn’t you tell this when you were showing how to behave in front of Sera’s relatives," Rael wondered, and his tone was baffled.
"Because you only asked about how to leave a good impression on them, and nothing else," Leo responded with a calm expression.
"You didn’t ask about the responsibilities of a boyfriend," he added.
"I see," Rael muttered, and his tone was contemplative.
He was caressing his chin with his right hand, his gaze lowered toward the ground and his expression was thoughtful.
"So, that’s why," he let out in a low voice.
’To be honest, I have no idea how a boyfriend of this world should behave and what his responsibilities are.’
Rael admitted in his mind and then lifted his gaze to et Leo’s eyes.
"Alright, I understand," he acknowledged.
"I will do as you say, and open the door for Sera." Rael declared, and his tone was decisive.
"Good," Leo’s lips curved upwards, and his mouth ford a smile.
"Well, then," he began, "You shouldn’t delay anymore and make her wait any longer," Leo suggested, pointing his hand toward the other side of the car.
