The Black Rage, like the Red Thirst, is a very tricky thing.
Its ergence is related to Horus.
Horus once brutally killed Sanguinius, and this scene was imprinted into the genes of the Blood Angels through psychic resonance.
When facing battle, so will see hallucinations of Sanguinius’s mories before his death, believing they are the Primarch himself, fighting against Horus.
Hatred for Horus makes them unable to distinguish friend from foe, plunging them into utter madness.
One Red Thirst, one Black Rage; the Blood Angels certainly have their fair share of problems.
But to Zeke, these two problems were nothing more than a matter of a bucket of milk.
It was just tough on Cow. Now, not only did she have to supply the star sector affected by Nurgle’s Plague, but she also had to supply the entire Blood Angels Chapter.

The Death Company is purely a suicide squad.
They were deployed here to utilize their indiscriminate, frenzied aggression to delay the Tyranid vanguard as much as possible, buying ti for the more important defensive lines in the rear.
Unfortunately, even so, the Death Company was still losing ground. It was only a matter of ti before the Tyranids overrun them.
"Sicarius, can your squad handle the swarm here?"
Zeke looked at Sicarius and asked a direct question.
"From a tactical level, my squad can attempt to cut in and coordinate a counterattack with the castle defenders."
He pointed out the more essential dilemma. "But killing them is aningless."
"Regardless of friend or foe, the corpses generated by death will be reclaid by the swarm, converted into biomass, and used to hatch more Tyranids."
"Fighting a war of attrition with them is falling into their preferred rhythm."
He paused, his voice suddenly becoming incredibly firm.
"But, if the Imperium requires it, we Ultramarines are ready to lay down our lives at any mont."
Behind him, the mbers of the Ultramarines squad emitted the hum of bolters locking and loading, waiting for a single command.
"Forget it," Zeke stopped his action. "Try my soldiers first."
Pulling out the Nether Portal, Zeke drove out a transport truck.
The truck drove out of the Nether Portal, attracting the attention of the Tyranids. The Knights of Blood holding the castle also saw the situation here.
Sicarius led his troops to wrestle with the approaching Tyranids, buying ti for Zeke.
Zeke took the opportunity to take out his Netherite Pickaxe and smashed the transport vehicle.
Bang!
The carefully placed contents inside were revealed: an ecological tank completely sealed by a heavy soundproof glass cover.
Inside, one could see Sculk blocks spreading like a living creep, Sculk Shriekers, Sensors, and the core Sculk Catalyst.
A complete Sculk colony.
Since they lose activity once mined, Zeke had simply loaded the simulated soil layer underneath along with it using this specially made transport vehicle—ready to use out of the box.
Zeke waited for the right mont and smashed the soundproof glass cover with his pickaxe.
The entire Sculk colony was exposed to the noisy environnt.
Casting Invisibility on himself, Zeke stood guard nearby, padding his steps with wool.
Before the number of Wardens increased, he had to ensure the entire Sculk colony wasn’t destroyed by the Tyranids.
The calls of the Shriekers reached the threshold. At the most intense point of the battlefield, the ground began to bulge, and a hideous dark green giant broke through the earth.
Long ti no see, Zeke thought silently.
The appearance of the Warden attracted the aggressive instincts of the nearby Tyranid swarm.
Hormagaunts and a reckless Tyranid Warrior poured towards the Warden.
The Warden’s terrifying physical defense and vitality withstood the Tyranids’ acid and bone sword strikes.
Every one of its swings dealt massive damage, ignoring the Tyranids’ hard chitin.
Facing the Tyranids surging like a tide from all directions, this lone Warden eventually couldn’t hold out against the numbers.
After tanking dozens of bugs, it crashed to the ground.
The Tyranid Warrior that killed the Warden raised its head and let out a demonstrative hiss, declaring the swarm’s victory.
When it habitually looked to the location of the spoils, preparing to reclaim biomass, the Hive Mind went into a montary crash.
The Warden fell to the ground in response, turning into white smoke and leaving nothing behind.
How is this possible!
As a relatively high-tier bug, the Tyranid Warrior had the ability to connect to the Synapse network and possessed a certain degree of intelligence.
According to the knowledge of the Hive Mind, after any creature is killed by Tyranids, the remaining corpse is digested into biomass by reclamation pools to sustain the swarm and spawn more bugs.
The Tyranid Warrior went to where the Warden died, looking for even a trace of blood, but found only emptiness.
Zeke quietly approached and picked up the dropped items.
Dumbfounded, aren’t you? Creatures that die in Minecraft leave nothing behind.
The good show was just beginning.
The experience points dropped after the Warden’s death were absorbed by the Sculk Catalyst.
The Catalyst trembled, the Sculk colony began to spread to the surroundings, and a new Sculk Shrieker generated.
Crunch, crunch. Two Wardens drilled out of the soil, locking onto that Tyranid Warrior.
The Tyranid Warrior looked at the spreading dark green colony.
Not good, it’s a species with the sa ability as us!
Two Wardens sprinted towards the Tyranid Warrior. Under the siege of two hulking giants, the Tyranid died instantly, and the infection took hold.
More Tyranid Warriors and bugs noticed the situation in the corner of the battlefield, and forces were diverted to deal with the Wardens.
A similar scene was playing out.
Wardens were drowned by the surging Tyranids, turning into experience points that were absorbed by the Catalyst again, subsequently producing a new round of spawns.
One, two, three, four, five, six. This ti, a full six Wardens popped out in unison.
A single Warden’s combat power wasn’t low to begin with, and it ca with a Darkness effect. Now with six at once, the pressure on the opposing Tyranids rose steeply.
The Tyranids had no choice but to bite the bullet and attack.
Hiss, hiss, hiss. A Tyranid Warrior uttered insect speech of unclear aning.
The language carried anger. It witnessed a Hormagaunt killed by a Warden also turning directly into white smoke, leaving nothing behind.
You don’t even leave the corpse of a friendly unit?
When a Warden slew a Tyranid, the swarm lost precious biomass and combat units without receiving any replenishnt.
But after a Warden was besieged and killed by Tyranids, its dissipating experience was captured by nearby Sculk Catalysts.
The Sculk Catalysts, having absorbed massive amounts of experience points, grew frantically.
Sculk Shriekers generated on this land like mushrooms after rain.
More Shriekers ant more frequent summons.
More Wardens were born from the ever-expanding Sculk domain.
They joined the battle, continuing to slaughter Tyranids efficiently, and upon death provided even more nutrients for the Sculk network.
A positive feedback loop that was a nightmare for the Tyranids had ford!
It was simply reversing the natural order.
The Tyranids never dread that the thod they used to deal with other factions would one day be returned to them exactly as is.
The dark green battle line composed of Wardens withstood the pressure of the Tyranids and began to push back locally against the hive.
The Tyranid supply couldn’t keep up with the state of the battle.
Such consumption was aningless. As one Tyranid took the lead in fleeing, the insect tide receded.
The big ss was solved. Zeke looked at the disappearing Tyranids.
The Wardens filling the ground had no targets and began to wander aimlessly.
Now, there was still a small ss left to clean up.
