Chapter 235: Chapter 235: Why Are You Still Coughing?
Xie Yanchuan initially moved very gently, thinking that Xu Jinzhi was still resting, but as he drew closer, he discovered that Xu Jinzhi was feigning sleep.
So, he went to the bedside and sat down; he didn’t say anything, nor did he intend to pull Xu Jinzhi up. Instead, he laid down directly and sprawled himself across Xu Jinzhi’s back.
Not only that, Xie Yanchuan also kissed Xu Jinzhi’s neck in a very suggestive manner, and Xu Jinzhi’s body stiffened, completely unprepared for Xie Yanchuan’s actions.

Xu Jinzhi felt a tightness in her chest and quickly shouted, “Xie Yanchuan!”

Xie Yanchuan said, “Then great, let’s continue.”
As he spoke, Xie Yanchuan tried to resu kissing Xu Jinzhi’s neck, but she quickly dodged and exclaid again, “Xie Yanchuan!”
After exclaiming sowhat irritably, Xu Jinzhi quickly turned over, wanting to say sothing else, but the aches and pains all over her body silenced her.
Seeing Xu Jinzhi’s grimacing expression, Xie Yanchuan reined in his teasing nature and asked with concern, “Are you feeling very uncomfortable?”
Indeed, last night Xie Yanchuan had lost so control, and in the hard setting of the hot spring pool, with the bumps and bruises, by the end, he noticed Xu Jinzhi had so bruises on her.

“It’s almost ten,” Xie Yanchuan said. “Get up and eat sothing, and if you’re tired, continue to rest later.”
They were not returning until the afternoon, so Xu Jinzhi had so extra ti to rest.
Although she was feeling sore all over, Xu Jinzhi no longer felt sleepy and, after so hesitation, she still got out of bed.
After getting up to wash up, when she arrived in the living room, she saw the breakfast Xie Yanchuan had ordered from the service staff on the dining table.
Instead of rushing to eat breakfast, Xu Jinzhi looked around, sowhat puzzled, and asked, “Where are Tuantuan and Sui Sui?”
“The nanny has taken them to the children’s amusent park,” the hotel, considering the diverse crowd of vacationers, had set up a special children’s area for kids to play.
“Oh,” Xu Jinzhi responded and sat down at the dining table to eat.
After finishing the al, the two of them left the guest room together and strolled leisurely, planning to find Tuantuan and Sui Sui at the children’s area.

On Monday morning, while the nanny held Sui Sui, Xie Yanchuan, Xu Jinzhi, and Tuantuan were dining at the table.
After the al, all three of them said goodbye to Sui Sui, and then they left the villa.
The three of them took the sa car, first dropping Tuantuan off at the kindergarten. After Tuantuan left, the driver departed, taking Xu Jinzhi to her company next.
As they neared the company, Xu Jinzhi picked up her bag, preparing to get out of the car, and did not forget to tell Xie Yanchuan, “I’m going now.”
It was clearly a farewell, but Xu Jinzhi’s deanor while speaking seed sowhat perfunctory.
The car had stopped, and when Xu Jinzhi prepared to get out, Xie Yanchuan hurriedly grabbed her wrist, “Jinzhi.”
“What’s wrong?” Xu Jinzhi turned back to look at him, asking in confusion.
Xie Yanchuan gazed into Xu Jinzhi’s eyes, paused for a few seconds, and then leaned in close to her, planting a kiss on her lips.
It was just a gentle peck that quickly ended, and Xie Yanchuan said, “Go ahead.”
Xu Jinzhi was stunned for a mont, but she quickly recovered. She smiled, lifting the corners of her lips, and without feeling embarrassed about the driver being in the car, she leaned forward and kissed the corner of Xie Yanchuan’s lips, chirping, “I’m off.”
Xu Jinzhi didn’t linger, and Xie Yanchuan let go of her hand without holding on. As the car door opened, she swiftly got out of the vehicle.
Watching Xu Jinzhi enter the company, Xie Yanchuan then ordered the driver to drive.
It didn’t take long before Xie Yanchuan arrived at A University.
Xie Yanchuan got out of the car and walked toward the school, and the driver had already left. No one noticed that shortly after arriving at A University, Xie Yanchuan got back into his car and left.
After the morning eting was over, Xu Jinzhi had so matters to discuss with Xu Zhen, so she called Xu Zhen’s office. Once she confird he was there, she went upstairs.
When she arrived at the president’s office, she knocked on the door and, without waiting for a response, pushed the door open and entered.
But as soon as Xu Jinzhi stepped in, she heard Xu Zhen coughing.
Xu Jinzhi couldn’t help frowning, “You’re still coughing? Isn’t your throat better yet?”
From what Xu Jinzhi rembered, Xu Zhen had been coughing for so ti now, so why was he still coughing?
Xu Zhen stopped and did not answer Xu Jinzhi right away. Instead, he drank so water to ease his throat a bit.
Xu Jinzhi remained silent, waiting for Xu Zhen to recover, but seeing the fatigue on Xu Zhen’s face, she still involuntarily furrowed her brows.
Why did she feel like her elderly father’s illness was quite serious?
Wasn’t it just a sore throat before?
Xu Jinzhi beca sowhat worried. She felt like she didn’t understand her father’s condition well enough.
After a while, Xu Zhen finally sighed, his voice sowhat hoarse as he said, “It’s just a bit of a cold.”
“The last ti you told it was a slight discomfort in the throat, today it has beco a bit of a cold, and what will it be next ti?” Xu Jinzhi’s tone was slightly stern.
Perhaps unsure of how to respond, Xu Zhen cleared his throat to mask his embarrassnt. After a few seconds, he changed the subject, “Weren’t you coming to discuss the proposal with ?”
Xu Jinzhi didn’t respond right away, continuing the previous subject, “What exactly is wrong with you?”
Xu Zhen looked at Xu Jinzhi, knowing he couldn’t casually brush her off, and explained, “It’s really just an inflad throat, and then a slight fever. I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve been taking dication for several days, but my throat still feels uncomfortable.”
Xu Jinzhi stared at Xu Zhen and seeing that his color was off but not like he had any serious issues, she let out a sigh of relief, “You definitely haven’t been taking your dication on ti.”
Xu Zhen was choked up, “I stopped because I felt better, but I didn’t expect to continue coughing after I stopped taking the dication.”
Xu Jinzhi couldn’t help but roll her eyes, “Are you a child? Can’t you even manage to take dication on ti? A grown man like you, and you can’t even take care of yourself.”
“Alright, alright, I see you’re just looking for an opportunity to lecture . It’s just an inflad throat, a minor issue. It’s not worth making such a fuss!” Xu Zhen said, clearly irritated.
